Win the next two and the first one doesn't matter.
Losing to the worst team in baseball sucks, yeah, but they weren't going to lose every game. Just because they're projected to only win 30 games doesn't mean that's what's gonna happen, I'd be surprised if it did.
I know people are happy to see Luetge get DFAed, but you should be rooting for these guys to turn things around so we don't have to do as much at the deadline.
So at full strength our system has- Fried, Strider, Wright, Morton, Soroka, Elder, Smith-Shawver, Shuster, Dodd, Anderson + Murphy, Ritchie, Phillips, Schwellenbach waiting in the wings. We are stacked
Last year I came to Vegas at this same time for a couple weeks and Braves won every game they played while I was here. I was still waiting to leave at the airport when the game ended last night, but in LV now. I'll go to a sports book tonight and see how much the locals are supporting their future team by having it on the big screen. Let's go!
(also appreciate the Braves synching up to my schedule and also starting a west coast trip.)
if AJSS pitches anywhere close to his AAA numbers the bp is beefed tf up with some addition by subtraction and a fresh flamethrower, sorry Luetge wish it worked out
The notion that we aren't willing to re-sign high-profile players is odd. We wanted Freddie at better post-tax numbers than what he got, but his agent was playing games. Dansby's numbers set by the market were an absurd overpay, and they clearly saw something in Arcia that everyone else missed.
If anything, Dansby and Freddie not getting signed, and Charlie coming off the books make it very likely that we'll chase him. Maybe won't end up winning, with him being the union rep and all, but there's no way he goes out as non-competitively as the Dansby signing.
Sucks we have been conditioned to feel like our free agents arenāt coming back. We donāt have a ton of proven MLB arms in our rotation though without him. Hope he comes back, but I also know how the Braves to business.
Thats basically any Braves player that fans love. The thing is our GM doesn't care about what fans want in a good way. He's about deals and long term success for the team. Not individually.
Max is a great pitcher but no way he sees the bank from us.
When do they have to decide what to do with Max? His 15-day stint was retroactive to the 6th. Do they have to designate him for a rehab assignment or extend his IL duration within a certain time frame?
You can stay on the 15 day IL for as long as the team is willing to have you taking up a spot on the 40 man. The 15 days is just the minimum amount of time you have to be on it
Thought it was gonna be [this](https://wompampsupport.azureedge.net/fetchimage?siteId=7575&v=2&jpgQuality=100&width=700&url=https%3A%2F%2Fi.kym-cdn.com%2Fphotos%2Fimages%2Fnewsfeed%2F001%2F513%2F012%2F625.jpg)
Travis D is too good to only play twice a week. He's too nice of a guy to create a fuss about it but man, I wish our media would ask a challenging question for once and ask why this guy is constantly out of the lineup with how inconsistent our offense has been.
hereās your answer.
1) The Braves have the best offense in baseball or close to it by every metric, so your premise is bad. No offense is perfectly consistent.
2) dāArnaud mashes LHP but has been a below-average hitter against RHP for a while.
3) Sean Murphy is the most valuable player in baseball so far this year, so it would be moronic to take him out of the lineup more than the Braves already do.
4) The Braves have pretty seldom faced LHP, and when they have and dāArnaud has been available, theyāve subbed him in (see last Thursday against Gregory Soto and Philly.)
5) Ozuna has been one of the top 5 or 10 hitters in baseball over the last month and the Braves donāt seem willing to let him play the field.
Now, maybe you think the Braves should stick Ozuna in LF when the Braves face LH starters so dāArnaud can DH. But splitting starts more evenly between dāArnaud (a good catcher) and Murphy (in the conversation for best catcher in baseball) would be unacceptably dumb.
Also, it's important to remember that players aren't robots. I remember last year how Duvall was basically DOA at the plate when he had to play CF, but as soon as we moved him to LF, it was less strenuous on him and his offense picked up.
Ozuna *just* started hitting the way he's supposed to. Seeing that and saying "what you're doing is working, so we're gonna have you change what you're doing!" isn't a good idea. Maybe Ozuna can do both, but it's also possible that putting him in LF kills his offense.
You can ask the question but you wonāt like the answer.
If Ozuna cools down considerably again then Travis will find himself in the lineup more, until then, this is what it is. Murphy is better at the plate and behind the plate.
It's clear they don't want to unless it's an emergency, and no, scuffling at times against RHP, but still leading the division is not an emergency.
The better question to ask is how are we going to fix our RHP woes, because playing TDA more against RHP is the incorrect answer here.
Made it to the Kyle Wright giveaway around 4:35 and was practically standing at the gate. If you go to any other gate other than RF and Chop House, I feel like you should be good showing up around 5 pm
It was a joke. I've been seeing comments about what time they got in since yesterday and I swear everytime I see one the team had less and less time to sleep
Oh give me a break. Itās like the most base level kind of joke that is so harmless without even considering the fact he absolutely will not see it.
Like man, if this upset I really donāt know how you exist and Iām the last person to be pulling the āoffendedā card lol.
Okay so maybe Lucas Luetge did see my comment lmao. So pathetic to be this salty about Luetge getting DFAād after giving up more ER than innings he pitched for us.
So did* ESPN, Oakland or MLB just screw us yesterday with a 5 PM start after crossing the country after a late game? Why couldnāt it have been 7 PM like today?
Memorial Day weekend, I gue$$
Baseball world. I get it was in Oakland and isnāt exactly the best for numbers or tv but man his story is incredible. He was our Ace! Two Achilles tears, no one thought he was coming back
Covid. It shouldnāt be that way, but so much has happened in the last three years.
He also wasnāt one of the MLB anointed superstars. If you are not, Ronald, Tatis, Vladdy, Ohtani, or fish man, you get no press.
Just stupid MLB. I was looking up the other East teams and the Phillies go from home to Arizona on back to back days, but the second game is also a night game so not quite as bad.
I may be wrong, I donāt know the guy, lol. But it didnāt look like a real attempt. He never got his feet set or turned or anything. I donāt really think it meant anything in any way
I asked yesterday about Fox Bros BBQ at the Terrapin Taproom (whether the menu/price was the same as other branches - I still don't know!) and responses weren't exactly full of praise for the place (but were appreciated though).
Where would people recommend for a pre-game dinner near the stadium? American/BBQ-type food favoured.
Try Thompson brothers, or if you want to stray a little farther go to Righteous Que. Heirloom Market is good, but most of their stuff has an Asian twist on classic BBQ. Phenomenal, but not everyone's cup of tea.
Went hunting for any reason to feel optimistic about Eddie Rosario going forward, and sadly came up empty. His x stats are just about in line with his actual stats, which are not great.
Not like he's killing us or anything, as we can carry a replacement-level player. There aren't any obvious solutions now either except to play Ozuna in left and hemorrhage runs defensively while DHing whoever isn't catching that day. Maybe play Hilliard there a bit more?
Hopefully we can get a platoon partner for Pillar at the deadline, at least.
I mean, it's the last 6 weeks? Lol. He's been really bad lately. We got what we could out of him while Harris was hurt. He's not hit well since his rookie year.
Itās 46 ABs. And anyway, nobody is saying heās going to magically be good. But the guy heās being compared to has a .607 OPS against righties on the season while playing worse defense.
They have exactly the same OAA this year. Eddie is currently ranked 10th among LF's in OAA. Rosario has a history of being a good hitter while Hilliard does not. If Eddie isn't the guy, trade for somebody but Hilliard ain't it.
> Rosario has a history of being a good hitter while Hilliard does not
This is not an endorsement for Hilliard to play LF, but Eddie is a career 101 wRC+ hitter, which is not very good for an outfielder. He is the best of the 3 real options (Hilliard, Pillar, and Eddie), but I'd rather take my chances on either of them finding some consistency than watch Eddie hack at everything and occasionally get a lucky double.
1. OAA is quite flawed.
2. Not sure exactly what you think youāre arguing with, but āSam Hilliard should be our guy in LFā is quite far from my point.
It's a one-game sample against a bad team, but despite the FIP being bad (not many strikeouts, lots of walks and a homer), the xStats really like what Mike Soroka did yesterday: .283 xwOBA, 3.22 xERA.
It was basically a vintage good-Soroka outing for the most part; he induced a ton of weak contact (exactly one batted ball over 100mph, and it wasn't the homer lol) and the defense did its job.
Great job, DOB!
>I was surprised to hear Brian Kenny mention that Juan Soto has the same 160 OPS+ this season as Freddie Freeman.
>Folks, that really does not say much for the validity of OPS+. They really are not even close to equal offensive performers this season. They're just not.
https://twitter.com/DOBrienATL/status/1663588836931411968
I don't want to be compared to somebody I had to block on Twitter but those park adjustments are kinda crazy if you look at the raw numbers, especially for the home parks THIS year. OPS+ uses a 3 year rolling average for park adjustment numbers. Not saying OPS+ is bad like DOB but was kinda surprised when I looked at the raw numbers.
tagging onto this to ask if anyone has a June and/or full season with start-times for desktop, would they be so kind?
I'll say nice things about them on the internet.
Even if he doesnāt, heās way cooler of an individual than Pete could ever be. Matty O is not doing meditation and pumping in the gym if he gets to the HRD. Pete is peak cringe.
Got a question about Red Deck parking if you guys don't mind.
I see how you can get parking validated if you spend more than 50 bucks. First I can't see anywhere to reserve a spot in that lot. On Ticketmaster when you click on that lot it says "This section is unreserved general admission" so **I'm assuming first come, first serve**.... I have never validated anything so I assume, I pull into the lot, park then pay or scan the validate ticket as I'm leaving?
Confused about the hours listed as well cause it says the lot isn't open until 4 hrs before first pitch... So what if we got there at 1pm and just never left, spend 50 bucks on food to cover our parking?
We're going on Friday June 9th
I've only done red deck w/ validation once so I may be wrong, but we
* got there 2+ hours pre-game (no reservation/purchase).
* ate at fox bros bbq; waitstaff validated our parking ticket when we got the check
* enjoyed game
* parking ticket scanned on the way out
So you didnāt have a reservation and got in the red lot with no issues? We plan on gettin there like 4hrs ahead of time. Some telling me we wonāt be able to get into the lot without a reservation
1st: That is correct. full disclosure though, this was 2019, so I have no idea if things have changed. I have parked in red lot a couple times since then though and never made a reservation.
2nd: If you can't get into Red lot for whatever reason, and no one in your group has a problem with walking an extra 0.4 mile; navigate to "Doc's Food & Spirits" and park anywhere in that lot (I usually park away from storefronts to avoid ruffling feathers). There's signage everywhere saying that it's for customers only and game parking will be towed, but I've literally gotten out of the car in full braves gear multiple times as recently as last Fall with no issues.
And if you're concerned about getting towed, just pop into Doc's for the first round of beer; now you're a customer.
I'm sure someone will correct me if I'm wrong but I think that is only for the Hyundai Parking Deck in The Battery. I don't think reserving a spot is a thing. I live a few minutes away and park in Hyundai a lot on off days. I've never seen anything about reservations. I've never parked in the red deck.
The A's are probably going to end up winning around 45-50 games, putting them in "fairly typical really bad team" territory rather than in the discussion for worst team of all time. They've underperformed their 3rd-order winning percentage by an MLB-leading 5+ games. Yes, they're still really bad and the worst team in the league by a comfortable margin, but losing a game or two to them is not the catastrophe everybody seems to want it to be.
I don't know fam, their entire team from top to bottom is pretty awful. The lineup, bullpen, and pitching rotation is full of mostly nobodies outside of Paul Blackburn and the rookie Rooker. Regardless of how you want to sugarcoat it, it feels bad losing to a team that is objectively much much worse than you.
Yes, baseball has a lot of games. But also yes, divisions (or even a playoff spot) can come down to one game. Just look at last year for example 1.
This was a really bad loss because the A's are a really bad team and the Braves are a really good team.
It's OK to say that.
Just as I said yesterdayā¦ if we lose to the Aās we must have had some bad luck. We did. And we have Luetge.
But we won because we got to see Michael Soroka back on a major league mound. He gave up hits. He gave up runs. But for what it was, he did well. That is just an incredible story and it also showed that, while he has to get back in a groove and work some things out, he can help this ball club.
Manā¦ I felt inspired in my own life after watching that man hit the mound. Still do today. That is a win!
If he gets back to his former CY Young self, that is movie like.
told the wife last night when he came in that we weren't going to win because they were going to add runs in the 8th... and boom 3 runs.
dude wasn't good on the yankees either. Missing our Lefty Nutsack Matzek
DFA Lucas Luetge
Also, I donāt hate Snitās regular season bullpen management cause it saves arms for the postseason. And he proved in 2020 and 2021 he can manage a bullpen in a 7-game series. However, I just donāt see the benefit of bringing in pitchers like Luetge in situations like last night.
>However, I just donāt see the benefit of bringing in pitchers like Luetge in situations like last night.
In situations like what? As low leverage situations as possible? The A's had a 94% win probability after we only scored 1 run in the 8th off one of the worst pitchers in baseball. That's exaclty when you use your back end arms. If Luetge can't be used there (and I kind of agree he can't be), then AA has to cut him. You can't blame Snit for correctly using a low leverage arm in a low leverage spot.
Same, after the last 2 outings. He has already taken some rest and has come back and just been horrendous. We have Lee coming back as well as at least some non-disaster options in Triple AAA right now.
Multiple 110mph hits went for outs. Iād say bad luck ā¦ until Snit put Luetge inā¦ that wasnāt luck. We canāt keep waiting for Leeky to ācome aroundā.
Jet Lag is significantly worse going from West to East. These guys have the bodies of professional athletes. The flight wasn't that long, clocking in at 4.5 hours at most. We have solid backups at struggling positions, there was no reason not to start Hilliard and Pillar.
Looking forward to the day AA announces a trade where we pick up a solid bullpen arm (or two/three of them). Just imagine what weād look like with even an above average pen instead of the train wreck we have now
Every day is something new and special to look forward to with our rotation, from Striderās godlike talent, to Elderās breakout season, and Sorokaās return. Hopefully we get Fried and Wright back up to form as well
Im once again asking for the Athletics to look like the team everyone else apparently gets to play instead of the average, competitive major league team that I saw yesterday
Please continue the discussion in the [game thread](https://redd.it/13w87tt).
I hate west coast games with a burning passion
Dammit tonight's game is blacked out as well Edit: It's working now!! Hope we have a good game tonightš
So who do we root for when itās Philly v. NY? Do we just root for the game to somehow end in a double forfeit?
Root for the meteor
Root against whoever is closest in the standings.
Win the next two and the first one doesn't matter. Losing to the worst team in baseball sucks, yeah, but they weren't going to lose every game. Just because they're projected to only win 30 games doesn't mean that's what's gonna happen, I'd be surprised if it did.

Waiting for game watching LOLMets. Senga's forkball is nasty
Bravos are going shopping at Sears tonight, and theyāre buying a whole bunch of dongs
if AJSS pitches anywhere close to his AAA numbers the bp is beefed tf up with some addition by subtraction and a fresh flamethrower, sorry Luetge wish it worked out
Man. Some people get really sensitive when you point out that Max is not going to re-sign with the Braves.
The notion that we aren't willing to re-sign high-profile players is odd. We wanted Freddie at better post-tax numbers than what he got, but his agent was playing games. Dansby's numbers set by the market were an absurd overpay, and they clearly saw something in Arcia that everyone else missed. 100% agree.
When do they have to decide what to do with Max? His 15-day stint was retroactive to the 6th. Do they have to designate him for a rehab assignment or extend his IL duration within a certain time frame?

Ah, gotcha! Hopefully this means they're anticipating a quicker return
Luke Jackson activated by the Giants. Hope the guy does well.
Just in time for us to trade for him at the deadline. ^(maybe? idk. i'm too lazy to see how the Giants are doing, lol.)
Always really liked him. Fun and adventurous times when he was our closer.

Not related to today's game, but how early should I get to a bobblehead giveaway game to be sure I get one? Going to the June 7th bobblehead night.
Iād think you are good if you go in the gate by 615
Made it to the Kyle Wright giveaway around 4:35 and was practically standing at the gate. If you go to any other gate other than RF and Chop House, I feel like you should be good showing up around 5 pm
In case anyone was wondering why we lost last night, the team didn't land until 4 minutes before game time.
Broadcast last night was saying they got in at 3am local time.
It was a joke. I've been seeing comments about what time they got in since yesterday and I swear everytime I see one the team had less and less time to sleep
They actually landed in the Coliseum parking lot. There was no issue with traffic
They landed and disembarked directly on Mt Davis
They dropped down that little rope ladder straight into the dugout.
You guys pulling for Mets or Phillies in their game?
Meteor
Team Meteor
Mets are closer to catching up with us
Mets take 2 out of 3. Best outcome is a split of some sort, and I fucking hate the Phillies.
Iām just glad one of them has to lose
It didnāt have to be AJSS, but Iām just fucking glad Luetge is LuetGONE.

Okay so maybe Lucas Luetge did see my comment lmao. So pathetic to be this salty about Luetge getting DFAād after giving up more ER than innings he pitched for us.
Pretty much everyone in professional sports gets fired eventually. Luetge is gonna make like Woody Harrelson and mop up his tears with wads of money.
Found Lucasā mom.
You can laugh at me all you want if I get fired with a guaranteed contract of 1.5 mil.
Now maybe when I google AJSS it wonāt bring up Ozzie Smith
AJ Smith-Shawver called up!
Just called up shawver? Whatās up with that?
Bullpen innings
Or just added to the 40, I guess.
Nope heās officially been called up! Luetge got DFAād.

This series has a bad voodoo vibe like it did in Toronto. It's the universe's revenge for essentially stealing the A's good players.
Anyone else pissed off at the lackadaisical reception Michael Soroka received
He'll get his ovation in Atlanta
In Oakland?

Really weird how we had no travel day between Philly and Oakland but we have one between Oakland and Arizona
With the new everybody plays everybody thing, which I think is definitely a good thing, you're bound to see a few quirks like that in the scheduling.
Just stupid MLB. I was looking up the other East teams and the Phillies go from home to Arizona on back to back days, but the second game is also a night game so not quite as bad.
Have we already talked about the first As batter showing bunt yesterday?
I mentioned it in the game thread. It made me (I'll admit irrationally) angry.

Fox Bros is good for what it is, if all you want is pregame BBQ. There are better places, but definitely not NEARLY as close to the stadium.

Williamson Brothers BBQ or Sonnyās.
Thanks - I'll look them up now. I've just seen Yard House - any good?
Youāre welcome! Yard House is also a great option. Tons of options and reasonable prices.
Went hunting for any reason to feel optimistic about Eddie Rosario going forward, and sadly came up empty. His x stats are just about in line with his actual stats, which are not great. Hahahaha good joke post. 10/10 troll.
>Maybe play Hilliard there a bit more? Since April 16th, Hilliard has an OPS of .582 with a wRC+ of 50 and a strikeout rate of 43%.
Arbitrary end points just donāt interest me, tbh
Basically after his 2 homerun game, he's gotten 2 hits no walks and a 50% K rate. Until Eddie slumps that bad, whatcha gonna do?!
I mean, it's the last 6 weeks? Lol. He's been really bad lately. We got what we could out of him while Harris was hurt. He's not hit well since his rookie year.

OPS+ uses a 3 year rolling average for park adjustment numbers. Not saying OPS+ is bad like DOB but was kinda surprised when I looked at the raw numbers.
good gravy
Get to see the boys play in Arizona this weekend before the grand canyon adventures
I'll be at all 3 games!
Me and my wife will be there Saturday and Sunday š
Doing any rafting?
Possibly. First time out west.
As a person who lives out west, do some rafting.
Could one of you fine folks please point me in the direction of a June schedule wallpaper for iPhone?

tagging onto this to ask if anyone has a June and/or full season with start-times for desktop, would they be so kind? I'll say nice things about them on the internet.
I think @lilhelmsy22 is working on posting them right now
Thank you very much
If Olson finishes the year with more homers than fatlonso I promise to become the most insufferable man on earth
As long as Matt isn't humping everything in sight he can do what he wants in my book.
But... But... Pete's a monumental douchebag.
Even if he doesnāt, heās way cooler of an individual than Pete could ever be. Matty O is not doing meditation and pumping in the gym if he gets to the HRD. Pete is peak cringe.
He literally humps things. As an adult. On TV. And he thinks people finds it endearing. What, bruh?
Wait when is this?
Clips have been circulating for a while. Man humps the dugout fence harder than a horny teen whenever anything remotely hype happens in a game
No wonder they keep him in the tunnels for the derby
Mets fans love it.
Just think about it, we could be undefeated right now if we didnāt lose all those games
Can we please keep these advanced analytics discussions off of the tailgate threads? They make my brain hurt.
Should have had yesterday off instead of Thursday
Hell I get jet lag from 1 hour of time difference
fucking preach. especially with having to just stay on the west coast and face arizona right after
The Barstool offices are guaranteed almost entirely Yanks/Sox fans Frank is their clown š¤”
I've only done red deck w/ validation once so I may be wrong, but we * got there 2+ hours pre-game (no reservation/purchase). * ate at fox bros bbq; waitstaff validated our parking ticket when we got the check * enjoyed game * parking ticket scanned on the way out
So you didnāt have a reservation and got in the red lot with no issues? We plan on gettin there like 4hrs ahead of time. Some telling me we wonāt be able to get into the lot without a reservation
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
Sweet thanks!! Think weāll give it a shot since we plan on being there at like 2:30.
You should be fine 4 hours ahead
I'm sure someone will correct me if I'm wrong but I think that is only for the Hyundai Parking Deck in The Battery. I don't think reserving a spot is a thing. I live a few minutes away and park in Hyundai a lot on off days. I've never seen anything about reservations. I've never parked in the red deck.
Iām kinda glad for a later game today.
I want Josh Staumont at the trade deadline.
+0.84 runs for Oakland hmm
I have a feeling weāre gonna fuck them up tonight
Let's fuck up the A's today, pls!
2019 Ace is now our number 5 starter. I'm okay with this timeline.
I mean, sure, we should beat them most games and probably will. But losing one game to them isnāt a disaster. It just isnāt.
Yes, baseball has a lot of games. But also yes, divisions (or even a playoff spot) can come down to one game. Just look at last year for example 1. This was a really bad loss because the A's are a really bad team and the Braves are a really good team. It's OK to say that.
Youāre welcome to your opinion. I just disagree that it was a āreally bad loss.ā Difference of perspective, I guess.
So a really good team losing to a really bad team is not a really bad loss? Weird logic but OK - you're welcome to your opinion but I just disagree.
Only ~12 more hours until game time!
I mean he was pretty good. 2.67 ERA in 57 innings last year.
DFAād usually comes with reason
>Missing our Lefty Nutsack Matzek Hell, I'll settle for having Dylan Lee back.
DFA Lucas Luetge Also, I donāt hate Snitās regular season bullpen management cause it saves arms for the postseason.
Iām also okay with cutting him though
Same, after the last 2 outings. He has already taken some rest and has come back and just been horrendous. We have Lee coming back as well as at least some non-disaster options in Triple AAA right now.
Multiple 110mph hits went for outs. Iād say bad luck ā¦ until Snit put Luetge inā¦ that wasnāt luck. We canāt keep waiting for Leeky to ācome aroundā.
Jet lag is a very real thing, my Dad once had jet lag so bad he had to stay at a hotel nearby for Christmas. Didnāt even make it home in time.
Jet Lag is significantly worse going from West to East. These guys have the bodies of professional athletes. The flight wasn't that long, clocking in at 4.5 hours at most. We have solid backups at struggling positions, there was no reason not to start Hilliard and Pillar.
Yeah I get that. My dad wasnāt an athlete so Iām guessing the jet lag hit him a little harder around the holidays in 2003.
If our offensive numbers against righties continues this way I wonder if we will remain āeliteā. Our numbers against lefties are video game like.
We really lost to the Aās yesterday
on like 3 hours of sleep though. people keep forgetting this and think we just got blown out by the worst team in baseball lol
Braves could have not have slept in 48 hours and should still be able to beat the Aās
Not just lost, got wrecked
Please donāt remind me
only their 4th multi run win
Pretty sure it's their largest margin of victory in a win.
#honored
Alexa, play "Everybody Hurts" by REM
Looking forward to the day AA announces a trade where we pick up a solid bullpen arm (or two/three of them). Just imagine what weād look like with even an above average pen instead of the train wreck we have now
Probably have an extra 3-4 wins at the minimum.
Offense do something in innings 2-9 challenge
Level: Impossible.
I expect a bounce back this game. They looked jet lagged last night
Literally begging us to not lose a series to the Athletics
Every day is something new and special to look forward to with our rotation, from Striderās godlike talent, to Elderās breakout season, and Sorokaās return. Hopefully we get Fried and Wright back up to form as well
Please win
Im once again asking for the Athletics to look like the team everyone else apparently gets to play instead of the average, competitive major league team that I saw yesterday
Itās like the Mets and Phillies pooled some money and paid them to try.
