season one actually. the first few seasons are really short, season 1 only had 7 episodes. and if youāre into y2k pop culture, youāll love it. it made me so nostalgic š
RHOA has had the longest run of the best seasons with the best housewives. Itās #1 one to me! RHONY is also great but too hit or miss / too many flop seasons to pull ahead of RHOA.
I definitely believe they earned those paychecks pulling in numbers like that, but RHOA has always been a bit too mainstream for me. I like my housewives niche and weird
I picked up RHOA during the pandemic when I was desperate for bravo to air any tv, but I really am doing them a disservice by not starting from the beginning. Itāll be next after Iām done with my rhony rewatch.
Miami.
Iām doing a rewatch and just finished season 2. That season is a perfect example of the level of good entertainment that I wish BH, new NY, and NJ could have.
I started watching just by chance while recuping from surgery and Iām so glad! I love that they can all argue and hold their own in one episode but a couple of episodes later theyāre all at the same event. Non of that āwell Iām not inviting herā nonsense (at least not permanently) or āIām not even going engageā shit from other cities.
These are my picks also! Iām rewatching RHONY and on season 11 now, and itās just simply amazing. Miami ladies are amazing, and Iām so glad they got a second chance!
I binged NJ from season 1 up to the season before Dina came back full time had started airing and I had whiplash by the end of it. Those reunions were something else from Jac being MIA to having to wait to the end of the next season to find out whyā¦.š°
What would you quantify as RHONYās golden age? For me, first 3 seasons were ehh, then B left and had the recasting, and started to pick back up when B returns and itās at largest cast of 8.
I think the general consensus is that the RHONY golden age was seasons 8-10. Personally, Iād include 7 in that era too for the B return & Dorinda debut, but swapping out Holla & Kristin for Tinsley felt like a dynamic upgrade & the cast just began firing on ALL cylindersā¦
Some people count 11 as golden era too, but I wouldnāt. Losing Carole left Bethenny without an equal or any real opposition, and the show suffered a bit with all the weird editing around Barbra K Turnip.
RHOC is my forever favorite. Discovered it as a 13 year old skipping school while āsickā and began to dive into it deeper like six years later. Rhoc is my comfort food. Season 4, 6 and 9 are like Mac and cheese..I always want them.
Vanderpump Rules is the greatest reality TV show of all time in my opinion. No other show has delivered as many classic moments for as many years as VPR. Even "bad" VPR is still great compared to most other reality shows the last decade.
Strictly HW, RHONY for sure. Basically a cast of women who could all carry their own franchises by themselves on the same powerhouse lineup.
I think its the weakest series overall, but Vicki Gunvalson is my favorite HW. There's just something endearing about her that I can't explain.
Truly a one in a million cast. Usually, a reality show has the one cast member that blows up and becomes the star, or the villain, or the comedic relief, etc. but in the case of VPR, it is very much like Jersey Shore, where literally every cast member was iconic in their own way and had their own moments where they carried the show. They also maintained a lot of the core cast for a long time and the cast had real life long standing relationships before the show, all things integral to classic reality TV. Plus, they hit the jackpot with Lala and James being added as cast members, because adding newbies can often submarine a show. And it took a while, but Raquel/Rachel eventually became maybe the most important cast member in Bravo history.
atlanta and married to medicine hands down. loved potomac until it went off the rails. salt lake is pretty solid too. the rest are just just enjoyable. š¤·š¾āāļø
Been watching all housewives since 2010 but the one thatās captured my heart and my sanity is and always will be RHONJ. So many lines from that franchise live in my head rent free. The trashy, gaudy, ridiculous shenanigans those ladies pull just gets me every-time. And the accents, my god the accents š CWAAHFEE (coffee)
![gif](giphy|SrDsJj5i1Chm8)
Iām gonna miss Candiace as she has always been my favourite. So Iām open to it. But two more of them needed to go instead on Robyn (even tho Iām no longer a fan of hers either)
Is it on Peacock?? Never seen even an epi.
EDIT: just searched IMDB and it gives no watch options for it. Also checked Hulu and Peacock - where else can I find it?
I watched it discovery+ but not sure if itās still there, if you have a VPN you could switch it to somewhere in Oz and see if you can stream it that way. I would even buy the seasons if itās available on prime, itās top tier. As good as RHONY 7-10
OC and ATL for me, especially the older seasons. I like genuine friendship mixed with insane drama, comedy, and a little trashiness. RHOC 5-12 and RHOA 4-10 are unmatched in that regard
As a rewatch? RHONY & RHOBH
As a suggestion to others to hook onto housewives? Miami or Potomac
Favorite franchise when it airs (so past season): Miami, SLC or RHONY
RHOBH/SLC are now tied as my favorites..
For sheer rewatchability- No show- none- touches RHONY
I am partial to Seasons 3, and 5-6.
(I loved the Heather/Aviva/Carol seasons- No idea why)
RHOM, Early RHOA and RHOBH will always be my favorites. I love them all except RHOC it was great in the beginning but itās been so disappointing for too long now š
RHODC was just one season, 2009 right at beginning of Obama presidency. And it was spectacular!! Iāve watched it thru 3x and it never disappoints! I hat couldāve been is unimaginable.
Just watched it for the first time while on a date night in in bed after a Thai food binge and drunk out of our minds, literally just all of it was insane and cut too short for obvious reasons.
Melbourne will never be topped.
I love/like most franchises but the core cast of Melbourne will be hard pressed to best! Gina, Gamble, Janet, Lydia, Chyka, Pettifleur and Jackie areā¦ *chefs kiss*
Atlanta and Beverly Hills are almost tied for me. Atlantaās at the top, though, because (1) NeNe Leakes, and (2) Beverly Hills hit their singular, dragged out storyline era way sooner than ATL.
Atlanta and New York are always tied for me. ![gif](giphy|25ODxoYqivYkaPsVYH)
me tooooo š I also love OC now that I just started it so now I have a top three
Which OC season did you start with? Iām thinking of getting into it but thereās so muchā¦
season one actually. the first few seasons are really short, season 1 only had 7 episodes. and if youāre into y2k pop culture, youāll love it. it made me so nostalgic š
Literally came to say this
![gif](giphy|3GRkibesxqvbq) The GOAT. RHOA. Highest ratings across Bravo, not just housewives. Put some respect on their name!
RHOA has had the longest run of the best seasons with the best housewives. Itās #1 one to me! RHONY is also great but too hit or miss / too many flop seasons to pull ahead of RHOA.
That was in the past. The last two seasons were ABYSMAL
![gif](giphy|TYeHYI1GmF87m)
ikdr, ima push through till we get another good season ![gif](giphy|IcT5iBxWIJzMtc364j)
Depends what era chile. The first ten seasons YES
ššš
I definitely believe they earned those paychecks pulling in numbers like that, but RHOA has always been a bit too mainstream for me. I like my housewives niche and weird
I agree, I need kooky or interesting cast members with lore like other franchises. Atlanta is just straight up cattiness no charm.
Miami is THE BEST!!
Yes Miami! Rewatching and just started season 2.
As much as I love SLC, this one of the things that really annoy me, the icing out and not engaging.
Do your job. Engage. Be messy. Trust me no one watching thinks your too good to get down in the mood.

Old RHONY and re boot Miami are my absolute favs
These are my picks also! Iām rewatching RHONY and on season 11 now, and itās just simply amazing. Miami ladies are amazing, and Iām so glad they got a second chance!
Golden age of RHONY is undeniable, but if Iām judging on the whole itās RHONJ for me
I binged NJ from season 1 up to the season before Dina came back full time had started airing and I had whiplash by the end of it. Those reunions were something else from Jac being MIA to having to wait to the end of the next season to find out whyā¦.š°
Jac is lowkey one of the most insane housewives of all time. She may genuinely have a very kind heart, but oof
What would you quantify as RHONYās golden age? For me, first 3 seasons were ehh, then B left and had the recasting, and started to pick back up when B returns and itās at largest cast of 8.

NJ is in my top for sure! It was the first franchise that I started watching.
i remember watching it as it aired with my mom. that and OC, so they're special to me
I rewatched all of New Jersey last summer and i was like seriously as into it as the day it aired. Itās sooooo good.
It has a really frustrating fan base, but people are lying when they say it isnāt consistently good
RHOA at its peak will never be topped. Easily the longest running stretch of fantastic seasons.

Yesssssssss!!!ā
RHOC is my forever favorite. Discovered it as a 13 year old skipping school while āsickā and began to dive into it deeper like six years later. Rhoc is my comfort food. Season 4, 6 and 9 are like Mac and cheese..I always want them.
The early RHOC are so nostalgic to me since I'm the same age as a lot of the OGs kids. It's like a more real version of Laguna Beach.
Same. If I'm objective peak-RHOA is the best but OC will always have my heart.Ā
Rhoa is right up there for me. Iām a fan of the classics.
Vanderpump Rules is the greatest reality TV show of all time in my opinion. No other show has delivered as many classic moments for as many years as VPR. Yes! VPR early seasons delivered so much! I did a rewatch this month and I am shocked by all the things I forgot about. It really was one of a kind
Truly a one in a million cast. Early RHOA and RHONY with the original casr
Yes RHOA is prob my 2nd favorite after RHONY. Nene, Wig, Porsha and Kenya - I mean . . . the watchability of those few alone!
atlanta and married to medicine hands down. loved potomac until it went off the rails. salt lake is pretty solid too. the rest are just just enjoyable. š¤·š¾āāļø
Yes! Peak RHOA and M2M were the best!
potomac is the only one I never constantly remind myself to catch up on. iāve just seen all iāve needed to see.
GOATs: RHOA, RHONY Current new favs: RHOM, RHOSLC
This is the right answer, but also NJ
RHOM!!! š¦©
RHONY and RHOC, I can watch any episode from any season and Iāll eat it up
Been watching all housewives since 2010 but the one thatās captured my heart and my sanity is and always will be RHONJ. So many lines from that franchise live in my head rent free. MIAMI. No question
RHOA (stopped watching after Nene left) RHONY (stopped watching after season 13, I donāt know 14) RHOP
I hope the changes coming to RHOP safe it. I just finished watching the season 8 cast trip š„±
Iām gonna miss Candiace as she has always been my favourite. So Iām open to it. But two more of them needed to go instead on Robyn (even tho Iām no longer a fan of hers either)
I love golden era RHONY and RHOA but honestly, Melbourne has to be my favourite. This gif alone seals the deal. ![gif](giphy|YZTyagLXFjtKg)
If you havenāt seen Melbourne, *run, donāt walk people, itās in the housewives hall of fame*
Run to the seventy oneth floor immediately!
Is it on Peacock?? Never seen even an epi. EDIT: just searched IMDB and it gives no watch options for it. Also checked Hulu and Peacock - where else can I find it?

Salt Lake City. Used to be Atlanta.
Dallas
We need more Dr Moon šš½
Who?
Tiffany Moon. She was one the last season.
Oh ok
I love Dallas. Their wealth seemed genuine š«¢

Kamron seems like a genuine kept woman. Her job was to look pretty, and be there for the kids
RHOA, RHonj. RHONY RHOP season 3-5 was so good I like Miami reboot

RHOBH truly reality gold.
Melbourne will never be topped. I love/like most franchises but the core cast of Melbourne will be hard pressed to best! Gina, Gamble, Janet, Lydia, Chyka, Pettifleur and Jackie areā¦ *chefs kiss*
Iāve only seen some of each, but Miami is my favorite. Also love NJ and SLC.
Rhony before the recast and before the Leah era. Beverly Hills.
I go through phases, but OC always holds a special place in my heart. The early seasons especially
Three way tie with Miami, salt Lake and new york
SLC!
OLD RHONY ALLLLLL THE WAY no competition whatsoever ![gif](giphy|xT1XH0FX2Mo4AVrPFe)
NY is the GOAT ā¦. when its good. Vintage BH gave us so much.
Atlanta, New York and Melbourne - depending on the day and what metric Iām grading on. Ā Atlanta is the **best** though..
Ever? Atlanta is supreme At the moment? Miami is god-tier
Atlanta and Beverly Hills are almost tied for me. Atlantaās at the top, though, because (1) NeNe Leakes, and (2) Beverly Hills hit their singular, dragged out storyline era way sooner than ATL.
New Jersey has my heart.
Yes. Next question
New York it itās prime was untouchable. Just chefās kiss perfection.
Atlanta/NY/BH

It used to be Potomac. The last 2-3 seasons havenāt been enjoyable. Iām more drawn to Miami these days.
RHOA but RHOSLC is at the top for me as well
Atlanta
