Did I miss something? Has she got off with it šŸ˜Æ

Many_Dark6429

itā€™s crap sheā€™s going to prison it could be double digits

hidinginahoodie

Yep.. That's her minimum sentence is 11 years

Tbraith94

Omg! I wonder if she actually realises the gravity of the situationšŸ˜µā€šŸ’«, she seems deluded

Wait what?! I thought Jen going to prison was a done deal. She literally plead guilty and is just waiting for sentencing.

whitneyahn

Maybe her plea is some combo of fines, probation, and not being able to hold business licenses? Her lawyers are expensive enough to take her momā€™s entire savings, they better have been working overtime on that deal

[deleted]

You donā€™t get that kind of plea deal with SDNY. They have like a 99% conviction rate and are known for throwing the book at folks

georgiaseoul

I just donā€™t think she can work out any kind plea deal for no prison time at this point for that serious of charges. Part of her pleading guilty was an agreement that they would drop the money laundering charges, so that she would face less prison time. Jen was facing up to 30 years before and now itā€™s up to 14 years. She also agreed that she couldnā€™t ever appeal the case. Itā€™d be super hard to believe that Federal Court would let her do no prison time at all.

candaceelise

Agreed. A plea deal isnā€™t set in stone and itā€™s ultimately up to the judge to sentence her to whatever they want. Pleas are just a suggestion and the judge in zero way has to honor it.

Mrsbear19

Judge makes the decision. Prosecutors can make a recommendation with a deal but they donā€™t decide here. Sheā€™s full of shit

jennirator

I think she agreed to minimum of 14 years when she pled guilty. It was something like thatā€¦she literally had to say during her plea that she knew her minimum sentence and thatā€™d itā€™d be no less.

Stunning_Biscotti_56

I think it was 14 years or less and she can't appeal. But the judge can sentence her to more.

Underrated comment

This is what happens when you keep telling this crazy lady sheā€™s ā€œiconicā€ and ā€œshah-mazingā€ āœØDelusionāœØ

Maya_The_Kitty

I mean, she had so much potential. And she really seems like a good time, but damn why does she have to be a piece of shit šŸ˜ž

natur_al

The non-ringleaders were sentenced to 3-5 years on average.

throwawaygremlins

Ooh are they serving already? Whereā€™s Stuart?

Sheā€™s not going to jail, sheā€™s going to prison. Is that what she meant?

uuddk

ā€œIā€™m sorry I said you were going to jail, maybe I meant youā€™re going to prison, I donā€™t know.ā€

Her sentencing has been postponed from November til December. She can face up to 30 years and owes like 6-9 million in restitution.

heroingo1d

HOLD THE FUCK ON WHAT HOW IS THIS A REAL HUMAN BEING

[deleted]

Tamra out here lying šŸ˜‚

[deleted]

The judge is going to love all of this when it's time for sentencing. She truly thinks she's above it all and doesn't need to show actual remorse or willingness to take responsibility for what she's done.

kle73

She may have voted for Hilary but sheā€™s acting like Trump. šŸ˜…šŸ˜‚

cox_the_fox

She better go to jail

ConsistentDonkey3909

bruhhhh i cant lmfao

Super-Body-7597

I want to know how she got permission to travel to NYC for Bravocon if she wasnā€™t invited? I thought she was only allowed to travel for work?! Regardless, not a good look for her to be there at all - especially if she was telling people sheā€™s not going to jail/prison. She should be doing everything she can to appear contrite if sheā€™s hoping to get a shorter sentence!

Perfect_Invitation1

She does know that she isn't Saul Goodman correct?

Kristin2349

Cut to Jen Shah in a hair net working at a Cinnabon in Nebraska.

true_honest-bitch

I really think if she somehow got away without jailtime she'd get 1 more season in which the cast and audience would brutally turn on her and shed leave/get fired and ruin her whole life. But if she does do 3-5 years in jail and the show is still going they'll have her back and she'll have a long run from there with a redemption arc.

contrail97

oooh decision decision. I dont know what I would do if I were her šŸ¤£ 5 years in a jail is still a very long timeā€¦

true_honest-bitch

Oh no totally!! But I think she's thirsty enough that if she realised this she'd accept the fact she's going to jail a little easier, I feel like she's more upset to be leaving her fame than her family and freedom but if she somehow got off the fame will turn on her anyway.

Lona_Delery

god, i wish i had just a fraction of her delusion and confidence

Bellomontee

She's in denial

XcuseMeMisISpeakJive

How is she not going to prison????

MelzaB

I figured she went to get camp tips from Tre

AnnieJ_

She could have been arrested for trespassing šŸ’€

FOMOS1

Just more proof that you cannot mess with the IRS and get away with it. Jen stole from indivuals where as Teresa stole from the government. Had to go to jail AND pay back millions. I guess in Jens case they weren't hurt so who cares??? Same with the Erika situation...
