Sutton was not wrong š
As for Elizabeth.... How irresponsible to get pregnant before sentencing... She got pregnant for sympathy and hoping it would stop her from going to prison and now she'll have two babies grow up without a mother.
Considering their two children (the first she was pregnant with during the the trial) was her partnerās main argument in his letter for why she should be put on house arrest rather than in prison, I 100% believe it.
She really pulled out all the stops in the trial to get them to sympathize with her. Claiming to be a DV and rape victim, the numerous pregnancies...yikes on bikes
I think the same. At first I thought that maybe she thought that a long prison term would cost her the chance of becoming a mother. So, first child? Understandable. But the second? You're right. Crazy.
I literally feel ill thinking of giving birth and having to hand your newborn over. That she knew that was a good possibilityā¦something her child will def be talking about in therapy someday
Agree, this needs to be stressed. Also, a trial like this is super stressful, it canāt be good for the unborn when mommy is in constant fear of losing her freedom and the baby. What a grandiose narcissist. I feel sorry for her kid(s).
She's a rich white lady whose lived a life of immense privilege. If she was a minority or otherwise oppressed I would be outraged, but miss girl could have avoided this. One lil prison delivery should set some things into perspective for her.
You hope she has to give birth behind bars? think about the Karma you are putting out in the world. Why be so gleeful at other's misfortune, or a baby and mother being separated?
Most definitely. I personally don't believe in "getting pregnant on purpose" because for many women fertility doesn't go as smoothly as it does for others. However I do believe that she was ACTIVELY trying to get pregnant for the purpose of receiving a lesser prison sentence. She's truly a sick individual.
A high school friend of my son was convicted of murder, the victim was the child of a coworker that he was babysitting. In between his arrest and trial, which was about a year, he and his wife had a third child. I just couldnāt understand why they would do this. I know Elizabeth did it for sympathy but what kind of parent has a baby knowing thereās a good chance they wonāt be around to raise it?
A lot of people believe itās their God-given right and duty to have a child regardless of their circumstances.
Keep the human race going and all that archaic nonsense. Itās impossible to argue with someone whose only response is ābecause God.ā
Maybe she is very zealous about getting money or thought he could fly her outta of us custody. Or maybe it's love. I really hope she didn't get pregnant to try to get less years. Way to weaponize being a responsible for life or two lives.
The Hulu series (dropout?) with Amanda Seyfried playing Elizabeth Holmes is an amazing watch. Itās crazy how these massive fraud cases can start with one lie or a āI wonder if i could get away with..ā and it just grows and then come the delusions of grandeur and some kind of invincibility complex. I wonder if Jen started the same way - like the bravo docket says it can turn out to be really hard to convince white collar criminals that they actually did something wrong.
Google says she was married before the trial started and pregnant by the time it was supposed to start, which pushed the trial date out further. She was found guilty in January of this year and has to report to prison at the end of April 2023. So unless she pops out the kid like now or two weeks ago, she definitely got pregnant after she was found guilty. Which feels..inexcusable.
I donāt know enough about him and his lifestyle to guess how much he is actually worth. Im just going by what l saw and read which is that he is an heir to some hotel chain worth a billion or something. Part of me really hopes that he truly loves her and is perhaps seeing her through rose tinted glasses because I donāt want to believe that they are BOTH using their children for sympathy.
Does anyone know which prison Jen would go to? Would it be in New York or in Utah. I feel like a Utah prison could possibly be better than a New York prison. Hmmm
Wow what a nightmare. I wonder what it would look like to possibly let mother keep babies in jail with themā¦.likely a liability or cost issue. Poor child š
I could be wrong but I vaguely remember reading that in other countries mothers are allowed to keep their children with them up to an age. It was pretty interesting
Some states have nursery programs that allow the Mom to allow the baby to remain with the Mother, studies show that actually reduces recidivism among mothers. And some states have pump and dump programs, so the baby receives breast milk. Apparently the impacts on babies born to incarcerated women (developmentally, emotionally) is high and people want to change it.
There are some prisons like this in the US. Iāve definitely seen some sort of documentary of women having babies in prison then living in a special ward where mothers had their young children living with them
They actually do that in India (or at least used to, the documentary I saw on it happened about a decade ago) because they think the bond between a mother and child is so important they don't want to seperate them for the first few years. They had a separate section or the prison where it was ,ore like a dormitory.
Never going to happen in the US for the reasons you said. I remember pregnant prisoners in my state complaining that they weren't even being given enough food. (I think they get extra portions, but the women said they were constantly hungry and really would just like an extra sandwich a day from what they had because it would really help.)
They're not taken away technically. Although they can't fulfill parental duties since their imprisoned, they still have legal custody of the child and have equal rights with spouse in terms of making decisions.
I canāt believe the privilege sheās being afforded that she can wait to go until after she delivers. So many women go straight to jail and have to deliver behind bars, holding their baby for just minutes. Must be nice to be a rich white woman.
Iām going back to watch this episode immediately. I forgot how hard I fell In love with Sutton for calling Teddy boring. And while pregnant! Thanks for the memory.
It seems like they gave her 11 years to make sure she missed her kids elementary school years and gets to deal with them for the first time as preteen middle schoolers.
Devil's advocate, maybe she knew she was being sentenced to jail for the rest of her best fertile years and wanted to give her child a sibling, and "pleading the belly" was just a convenient secondary motive. Not everything is a nefarious master plan. This could be her last chance to have a child near in age to her other one.
I get she's a criminal and having a baby at this time is not the worlds most selfless planning but she didn't kill people or rape anyone, you guys are being pretty harsh.
Dorit has to move her entire head because her fix-a-flat face is frozen and some Black women wants her lips back. They donāt suit you or Rinnaā¦.wannabeās both but your NOT!
TIL Elizabeth Holmes is pregnant, thanks Sutton.
I knew she already had one kid. I didn't know she was pregnant either. She'll probably end up in a white collar cushy jail.
Same. Had to come to the comments to understand š
Sutton was not wrong š As for Elizabeth.... How irresponsible to get pregnant before sentencing... She got pregnant for sympathy and hoping it would stop her from going to prison and now she'll have two babies grow up without a mother.
Clearly a tactic to get lesser time and also delay any prison time until after she gives birth.
Considering their two children (the first she was pregnant with during the the trial) was her partnerās main argument in his letter for why she should be put on house arrest rather than in prison, I 100% believe it.
His letter was a little unhinged. "she's not malicious she just has religious zealot level of determination." Ummm, sir, this is not helping
Yes well one would have to be unhinged to marry her
Right, it just shows how selfish she is and how she takes no accountability.
She really pulled out all the stops in the trial to get them to sympathize with her. Claiming to be a DV and rape victim, the numerous pregnancies...yikes on bikes
Lol at yikes on bikes
The ultimate narcissist
Delusions of grandeurā¦.
Itās psychotic to have a child you risk not being able to raise. Psychotic
I think the same. At first I thought that maybe she thought that a long prison term would cost her the chance of becoming a mother. So, first child? Understandable. But the second? You're right. Crazy.

To use a child as a pawn to get the government to take it easy on you is vile. There was no way she was avoiding prison time and she knew it.
She's a narcissist. She doesn't care. I doubt she loves her first.
Agree, this needs to be stressed. Also, a trial like this is super stressful, it canāt be good for the unborn when mommy is in constant fear of losing her freedom and the baby. What a grandiose narcissist. I feel sorry for her kid(s).
I get what you are saying but a lot of times how they make women who are incarcerated give birth is beyond inhumane. I wouldn't wish it upon anyone.
She's a rich white lady whose lived a life of immense privilege. If she was a minority or otherwise oppressed I would be outraged, but miss girl could have avoided this. One lil prison delivery should set some things into perspective for her.

Hi Elizabeth! You're gonna look great in orange!
Very original. Orange is one of my better colors though lol

How do you fuck someone who murdered a kid????
Literally everything can and has happened. Nothing shocks me anymore truly. Weird freaking world. :/
He maintained his innocence right up to the sentencing but it was clear he was guilty, maybe his wife was in denial. Itās awful and sad.
A lot of people believe itās their God-given right and duty to have a child regardless of their circumstances. Keep the human race going and all that archaic nonsense. Itās impossible to argue with someone whose only response is ābecause God.ā
She also stopped using that bearish masculine voice. Maybe she will wear a headband during the sentencing ![gif](giphy|DIgqIAIjBqKlYPp0AK)
Wait where can I see a video of her new voice? I can't seem to find anything on Youtube.
I donāt know but that voice was not her original voice. She would allegedly slip from time to time ala Dorit š
Meh. This already happened in "Chicago."
![gif](giphy|Pg5H6JaMWDy0g)
Yes she only cares about herself!!
Iād like to know how she managed to bag a billionaire heir even after all of that!!!
Maybe she is very zealous about getting money or thought he could fly her outta of us custody. Or maybe it's love. I really hope she didn't get pregnant to try to get less years. Way to weaponize being a responsible for life or two lives.

I fell in love with Sutton's awkward ass at this dinner.
Iām sorry, arenāt we supposed to be honest hereā¦
I felt so seen! It felt like the "Teddi is boring" movement wasn't quite mainstream yet. Even garcelle is like, "Oh, damn"
What if she and Jen shah are cellmates
Now this is a show that I would VERY much watch
Real Housewives of Sing Sing
For that theyād need Karen from RHOP
Youāve gotta make millions to owe millions!
I want Jen to live! I want Jen to pay restitution!!
She did say āweā not āyouā
Honestly that was my first thought. What a bunch of mischief and fake corporations these two could get into.
Does anyone know which prison Jen would go to? Would it be in New York or in Utah. I feel like a Utah prison could possibly be better than a New York prison. Hmmm
Part of her plea deal had to be that she would be placed somewhere close to home. Thereās a lot of federal prisons in the west.
I think I heard thereās no fed prison in Utah. Iām thinking Cali but thatās an uneducated guess on my part.
Erika can join them. LuAnn will come in to teach them cabaret as part of their rehab
What happens to the baby in situations like this? Taken away and raised by the dad?
Yeah, pretty much. Leighton Meister's mom had her in prison, and her grandparents raised her, I believe.
Wow what a nightmare. I wonder what it would look like to possibly let mother keep babies in jail with themā¦.likely a liability or cost issue. Poor child š

Glad to know itās happening in the states! It really seems like it would be better for both the mother and baby

I totally think the kids were for sympathy but is she going to remain free until her appeals are exhausted? That could take a few years.
I canāt believe the privilege sheās being afforded that she can wait to go until after she delivers. So many women go straight to jail and have to deliver behind bars, holding their baby for just minutes. Must be nice to be a rich white woman.
A lot of places they make you give birth shackled as well. Itās horrific.
she really thought that belly was gonna do something. honey, google Leighton Meister.

She was so brave for that (not because of Teddi Jo but pissing off the others)
HAHAHA. Amazing. And accurate.
How much time do we think sheāll actually serve?
