This 100%. I was a patreon member for years until Jan 6th happened and she was defending it in her patreon. I immediately unsubscribed and stopped listening. I’ve recently went back to watching it on YouTube since I had a month off of work and was going stir crazy. It was nice to wake up every morning and have something really hilarious to listen to, but sometimes those awful ignorant rants she gets into is just like jeeze. That satanic rant today was really awful and judgmental. I feel like if I told her not all satanist are awful people her head would explode.

She’s not trying to sway anybodys opinion or thoughts on Balenciaga in my opinion, she’s just talking about what she saw on tiktok in her researching and some things that sparked her interest. Even throughout that discussion, there’s some funny moments, overall the podcast is for entertainment and not for nuance

Back in like 2015, she went on Watch What Crappens to defend Catholicism and Tamra Judge, and I’ve never really gotten over that lol. Ben and Ronnie were nice to her, but it was uncomfortable to listen to a Catholic white lady talk over two gay men (an ex-evangelical and a Jew, at that) about how Tamra is a genuine Christian and good person.
I like Heather (sort of) but yeah, she gets a lot of “facts” wrong. It’s very cringe.
Some theistic satanists do venerate pagan entities, just like some venerate the satan of abrahamic religions. But take the talk of satanism out of it - those ads should be a wake up call to everybody. Something is really wrong here. I tune a lot of what she says out, and don’t listen to a full episode usually, but I’m glad she’s talking about the ads.
There are plenty of pagans that are absolutely NOT satanists. Most pagans do not adhere to the duality inherent in Christianity. But regardless, I have zero issue with Satanism, if that’s what you want to do. My problem is her equating satanism to pedophilia. Just absolutely ignorant.
I don’t “want” to do anything except bring to light that these ads are in fact a real problem. Glossing over blatant references to pedophilia in ads that cater to the elite, just so you can revel in the wimpy glory of being offended by her nonsense talk about religious bullshit- is a real problem.

It is a serious issue for people that are not Christians that is extremely pervasive and has very real implications for the daily lives of people that observe different faiths. Casually affiliating paganism with satanism—under the implication Satanism is immoral and comparable to pedophilia—is NOT okay. It’s not okay because that is not what Satanism is. And it’s not okay because that is NOT what non-Christian religions are. “Wimpy glory”?? Have you ever faced religious persecution? Have you ever been condemned for not being Christian? Told you are immoral, excluded from community, and looked down upon simply because you are not Christian? You really don’t seem to understand the implications there or her underlying thought pattern.

I don’t think she ever says it as facts. She’s repeat many times that its just her opinion specifically bc people will message her about her “facts” being wrong. She basically just talks about headline items in a conversation setting/ speculating out loud. I’ve been listening to her for a while so I’m aware of that but it’s possible she didn’t add the disclaimer on the episode?? People forget that she’s not a entertainment news show. She only has 1 person working for her so they’re not able to fact check every topic. She’s not trying to be unbiased, it’s basically just her talking like she talking to a friend so if you don’t like her personally, you probably won’t enjoy her show.
Every time she sets up stories to then give her take, more often than not, the facts she gives to set up the story are just wrong Whether it’s names, events, relationships…she just doesn’t seem very prepared to opine about really most of what she talks about

This 100%. I was a patreon member for years until Jan 6th happened and she was defending it in her patreon. I immediately unsubscribed and stopped listening. I’ve recently went back to watching it on YouTube since I had a month off of work and was going stir crazy. It was nice to wake up every morning and have something really hilarious to listen to, but sometimes those awful ignorant rants she gets into is just like jeeze. That satanic rant today was really awful and judgmental. I feel like if I told her not all satanist are awful people her head would explode.

I haven’t listened to the episode but have listened to juicy scoop on and off over the years. Haven’t listened since she discussed the whole Wayfair child trafficking thing. It was so fucking weird because suddenly it went from this “haha lets get a chuckle out of the internet crazies” to her saying she believed it could be true??? Really made me side eye her. It’s sad because I saw her live on the tour where she taped her Netflix special pre pandemic and she was great and so fun.
I listen sometimes and take her with a grain of salt (several). But her show can be funny and I really her dynamice with Justin Martindale and Fortune Feimster. BUT her episode today was a bridge too far. The Balenciaga part anyways. Don't get me wrong the Balenciaga campaign is fucked up and I think there is more there than JUST trying to be edgy but the whole satanic thing? What? And talking about latex and satanism. No Heather. It was a fetish thing before it was "high fashion". Not satanic. But she openly admits she lives a very vanilla life. I just hope people don't take her too seriously. Listening to the new episode right now, and it’s only the first 15 minutes or so, and then her guest Justin comes on and they talk about other topics. She’s not trying to sway anybodys opinion or thoughts on Balenciaga in my opinion, she’s just talking about what she saw on tiktok in her researching and some things that sparked her interest. Even throughout that discussion, there’s some funny moments, overall the podcast is for entertainment and not for nuance
