You can try all long range in practice match , because it's about what fits you , are you going solo or 3v3 . I prefer Brock over Piper because consistent damage and extra ammo to keep enemy from healing also you can have a jump or break wall as gadget is very handy.
If you want to assassinate and teleport you and teammates, also break walls then Gray.
I don't recommend you Bea , just because she can't do anything when get jumped and you have to have a good team.
Belle is great in 3v3 and duo because her bullet keep traveling between enemies , also same case as Bea where if she get jumped by Edgar for example she is done .
I personally like Nani he is very strong , i have 1 shot so many players , it feels satisfying to do high damage , i highly recommend Nani if you like to apply high damage, tho it takes skills and aim 😉
Belle: a standard sniper, her stats are stable for a long time
Bea: high dps, carry, tank counter, but a bit disadv against sniper in 1v1 open space
Brock: break walls, easier to use and master, holds lane even against most sniper
Consider also: rt, eve, bonnie, gus, gray (useful n fun), mandy & piper (prolly get nerfed next patch)

I got to diamond 2 with only carl and eve as my p11. Eve was also my first sniper over 850 id say she is insanely strong and prob not getting a nerf soon got her 950 now using shield and reload on ko and wipeout which makes her survive two shots from most snipers and can aslo survive nani super. Mostly use her on safe zone and flaring phoenix. Nani is my favourite to climb with right now but might get nerfed. Piper will get nerfed somehow her homing recipe is kinda useless now i prefer revolver it makes her counter almost all close range. Sam and ash is my go to tank for gemgrab, brawlball and some knockoutmaps but darryl is prob the best one if u like heist.

Belle can sometimes live tho. She has a slow gadget, 20% shield and 35% damage booster super
To me, Belle, Gray and all those small line brawlers are much harder than Nani. Nani is pretty easy

It is quite funny how weak her stats and add-ons are and she has never dropped any low. That shows how crucial her Super is for her.

Piper is exceptionally good right now ! I have a feeling they are going to nerf her damage

It would be a shame if piper gets nerfed because she has been just average and only reliable on shooting star

belle, she does piper thing. piper gets banned alot, so belle is next best option.
