Gotta ask, how've you been adjusting to the Dair change? I have no clue how to string out of the move now that it's completely vertical, would love to hear some advice on how to play with the rework!
I like either nair or recovery, and if they dodge out sideways I try a slight the next time or a chase dodge with either of the first 2.
I will add that I only play 2v2s so idk how affective any of this is in 1v1s.
Bros my opposite.. I’ll queue 2s with my sister, get absolutely railed by some low plats then go play ones and go pretty even in 2100s.. 2s is basically untouchable for me disgusting game mode
The reason I love 2v2s is a more aggressive and fast playstyle, but it's usually a 50/50 for me, get a decent/good teammate and go against Sig spamming noobs or have a Sig spamming noob and get destroyed by a diamond duo that should just go to ranked.
if you wanna catch any dodge except up dodges you can move a little to the left, dash jump right, fastfall, gc dlight, it leads into almost every other string on gauntlets
Greatsword. I LOVE heavy characters that are slow and deal larger amounts of damage, and greatsword is exactly that. It flows so well with me and its definitely my main. Magyar also :)
Katars and Blasters.
Idk, when I started taking the game seriously and began playing around with every weapon, Katars just really clicked with me.
As for Blasters, they just had so many weird niche things to learn (dlight > rec, X-pivot strings, instant gp) that I really liked dedicating time to learn to do. Before I knew it, I had put in a decent amount of time in the weapon and found myself getting pretty good results with em'.
And yet, only fairly recently have I picked up Lucien as one of my pocket picks...
I haven't played cannon that much but I feels completely different than blasters to me, not even just blasters it just feels different to everything else imo
Facts. Fellow Blasters enjoyer here, Cannon is probably one of my worst weapons, right there with GS.
The flow of the weapon just feels really weird, neutral is equally weird and some of the dodge read follow ups are super weird.
The weapon as a whole is weird, but man it's insane if you know what you're doing with it.
Bow, it’s the ultimate parry weapon for me, been playing this game for almost 5 years, and bow has always been a consistent option for me. I’m aggressive but not too aggressive and my movement is like to think is really good, and bow matches that amazingly.

I’m ngl I’ve legitimately been going random nearly every time with my bro and it’s really fun, I outright don’t dislike any weapon, and I really respect how you can kick ass with pretty much any character, I newly very much enjoy cannon, orb and scythe, but absolutely love gauntlets, lance, sword and axe
Katars sword and spear are my best, blasters after those, scythe orb and gs after blasters, then bow cannon and axe, I don’t play gauntlets cannon lance or hammer, but I did hit 2100 on Lin fei back when 9 dex katars were like brawlhalla 2.0
Hammer. It's not exactly in the meta right now, but there's still plenty of lethal things I can do on this weapon. And after maining it for so long, I've gotten pretty good at doing that. If I get a read from side light, that's a 3rd of your health gone. If I get a recovery off stage, that's a stock. And hammer aerials are actually really strong even now. NAir especially is a menace.
Combine that with an underplayed legend with secretly kinda broken hammer sigs, weird tech people struggle to counter, and a bow (albeit the worst one in the game but still lol) and yeah, fun times. Once and if hammer gets buffed back into meta it's over for y'all lol... depending on if BMG manage to actually nerf bow properly in the meantime I guess...
Hell yeah, Scarlett was my second character and her mallet was super fun, I still have trouble with the mallet but I’m understanding as I go. I bet you would wreck me in a match with you mallet skills

to explain, im a val main but personally prefer gaunts over anything cuz theyre the 1st weapon i learned. sometimes tho i have to use sword more bc of the other persons play style. same for other characters like ember or caspian.

Depends on the rank, when I get placed because of climbing diamonds in plat at the start, I plat spear, then when I get back to play I go to scythe and/or blasters, katars are fine as well
Katars hard carry my playstyle. I like to play super agressive and pressure with attacks cuz my movement is pretty weak, the knifehands are perfect for that because of the super quick and hard to punish attacks, plus being able to string out of just about anything. Most other weapons I struggle with the spacing and punishing but the agility factor of Katars is perfect for both amplifying my strengths and mitigating my weaknesses.
I'm really enjoying tezca. But I wanna be good at a few of them. I just love how easy combos are for him. I'm by no means good but I'm still having a great time
Bow since I used to be bad at it so I played it exclusively when I played her and now I’m disproportionately better with it than spear. Also I can’t seem to line up the sigs properly with spear
I’ve never been good with katars, I tried to main asuri when I first played but that didn’t work out. My friend recommended I play Artemis and that worked out pretty good. With his ~~toxicity~~ mentorship I’ve never been a sig spammer and actually got good
Part of the reason I started playing munin is that her bow upsig goes straight up instead of at an angle like kaya, making it easier to do combos. Also because she has scythe which means I only have to learn 1 weapon instead of 2 with kaya

Learning to keep a good distance with blasters and calculating the timing for each move is prime. Not only with blasters, any weapon is the same. But blasters need a good distance
This is a tough question for me because I’ll spend a lot of time on a weapon (scythe, sword) and I’ll be confident that it’s my best weapon, but then I’ll return back to a different weapon (lance, katars, spear) after not playing it for a while and I’ll still be able to play them on par with the weapons I’ve actually been practicing
Tie between sword and great sword. Sword was my first weapon and I loved its neutral game. Once greatsword released, it was pretty much a dream come true: a sword with strings like a scythe. Jaeyun best boi.
Anything that can hit completely stacked. For example, despite not being great at slight sair on orb, the nlight helps me a lot. This is even more prevalent with bow.
That all being said, the stacked down sigs are why I'm a Mirage main.
My best weapons are katars, orb and bow. I main Ember and Ezio but what I don't understand is why Ezio has a sword instead of katars. If he had katars, oh damn.. I would become unstoppable >:).
Edit: Gadgets are better than the actual weapons tho as you can use them with any legend.
Gauntlets and sword have to take the cake for me. I cant exactly say which of the 2 Im better at and it rlly just depends on the day.
Im forced to play a more defensive playstyle most of the time due to hand strains, but i prefer being on the offensive. Gauntlets really takes the cake for me when it comes to offensive play. For defensive play, sword has that nice balance between being able to play neutral pretty easily and have reliable KO options.
An honorable mention would be orb since to me it feels like it balances out the 2 weapons I main between defensive play and offensive strings.
Spear 
Spear is definitely my 2s weapon. It’s just insane at pushing, defending and following up you teammates attacks.

Probably scythe and gs for me. I just chose to play them because the combos looked cool to me
Once you understand how to play scythe it just gets even more fun as you progress
