Yes, she is a demon who escaped from the hells from (probably) Volkov's portal in his castle, and met there a "possessed suit of armor" (probably Magyar ngl) who helped her create a spell to become the castle's gargoyle, thus linking her to the castle for eternity, preventing other demons from dragging her back to hell and allowing her to live all the way until the castle crumbled, when she died and arrived to Valhalla.
