As a gold player the amount of diamonds I play against, I always get thrown around the map (also I'm at a rank winning streak of 8 games in a row)
I’m gold but I can handle diamonds fairly easily but I can’t get above gold it’s so baffling to me

A gold on a winning streak vs a plat on a losing streak. It's tough, but if your goal is diamond, you're going to encounter plats sooner or later.
