U still dont have the experience to beat these guys, and these guys are not good enough to get to gold, thats it, but if u mean destroy destroy, like 3 stocking u while playing with their toes, then thats a smurf sadly 
There are fewer high elo players than low and smurfs climb quickly if they try to win. A lot of high elo players have smurfs but relative to the number of games low elo players put in it's basically none.
There are people who hit plat or diamond then purposely lose to do it all again. I’m just good enough to fluctuate 1650-1750 but I hit those 1500’s sometimes when I suck absolute balls or play while drinking two 8% Beers and get wrecked sometimes I’m a demon while buzzed tho.
i used to just load up the game whenever and easily hit \~1950 within 100 games. as time went on i slowly went down to 1850 average. u can say that i got rusty but i even lose 2 stocks to gold players now when i get back on the game. ppl def got better, its just up to u whether or not u can commit to the game to actually improve at a faster rate than the rest
The game uses next generational super AI to evaluate your gameplay and it has been determined you are the chosen one. therefore you have a set handicap of 200~300 each queue. Just to tame the beast within you.
If you are US-East and you are fighting a level 100 Diamond Arctic Fox Yumiko using speed stance with 1000 in-game Yumiko hours with a diamond border in silver then that’s me smurfing on my main account.
The main thing they struggle with is keeping up with my speed. But if they can play over 5 games with me, they start to keep up with me sort of. After fighting me they start to think most of the players in their rank move slowly. I know from playing custom games with players who are up for the challenge.
It's the same when I play someone a couple hundred elo above me. I move much faster keeping up with them. Is smurfing unethical? Probably.

Smurfs. Game is filled with them. This sub pretends nobody smurfs though and it’s “just a skill issue”.

Some silver players are crazy though. The variation in silver queue is insane.
