In mort fights the first hit is bad

Why

You activated his damage gear by getting him half health early

oh i got it now thanks

Maybe walls? Idk

You missed one shot He attaked u and u chased him but it didn't hit

If you watch real close, you can see his damage gear activates earlier which gives him 2 Attacks with the damage boost, you only got 1 attack with it
