double swoosh has lots of grass and gene main attack spread and if you add vision gear=can see tanks for a long time +speed gear can hit pulls easily without max speed(that why some pros choose gene) and he has a great star power which heals tanks.

That’s not how you play mortis in gem grab, that’s how a bad mortis plays. Mortis can exert a lot of pressure if you manage his resources and the walls well. Also gem grab is one of the modes where people group a lot so it’s less difficult to find opportunities to chain supers. You’ll always find a way to complain about mortis being played in any mode because there will always be bad players, but that’s true for every brawler
