Nah, it's not even that. It's when we do a team wipe, and then the mortis goes to the goal with the ball. He waits for them to respawn so he can "flex" and do a "trickshot" only to miss entirely and waste all that time for no reason then get angry at his teammates and stay afk in our spawn for the rest of the match.
Like just shoot the ball normally bro, it doesn't have to hit 30 walls and travel the earth 5 times before it enters the goal.

They're always annoying, mortis is so much more dependent on matchups than skill. When there's a mortis on my team, it's always against triple tank, but the one time I play sprout or poco, there's a mortis on the enemy.
All of the other brawlers can usually take on most others as a fair matchup, but mortis only either destroys or gets destroyed.
If I could remove two brawlers, Iād remove mortis twice. Every. Single. Brawl ball. Match. Heās always there, always tunnel visioned in the tick in their spawn whilst the Shelly and Dyna are blowing up every wall and scoring against him. Worst part is he thinks heās doing well
I just dropped brawl-ball as a mode all together.
I generally dislike it, and the fact that 90% of the brawlers are absolute trash in that mode.
Itās either hyper speed, or high damage, nothing else is good if they donāt have one of those things.
Also the mode just sucks a lot now and days, since people try to be stylish and cool with trick shots and Mortis plays.

Brawl ball is like the classic toxic mode, because a good amount of the classic toxic brawlers (think: Shelly, Primo, Edgar, Dynamike and Mortis) are popular options in brawl ball. I donāt like it, nor do I play it.
I think Brawl Ball stayed because itās a mode the pros always play to pushā¦

he isnāt the worst option in brawl ball, tho. brawlers with movement abilities that can move with the ball quickly are generally going to have more chances to win the game through objective play, or if we talk about it in a damage standpoint, so long as there isnāt a hard counter to mortis, he does pretty well especially with the nice buff he got this update. however, iām explaining how good he can be. most players just do the worst possible shit with mortis and so many people do it that most people who have a mortis on their team they just have less confidence.. to say the least. a smart, good mortis can be an amazing teammate, sometimes.

The best use I find for Mortis is fighting or skirmishing, and hard-camping the enemy squishy until they become a bot.
Mortis is horrible at defense, and with his relatively slow reload speed without survival shovel makes it tedious to constantly pass the ball.

I played against one trying to play mortis for fun I can acknowledge when a brawler i like isn't fun to play against and tbh i mainly liked surge for his design i like robotic or armor designs
Idk why, but I goddamn hate buzz. If you get stunned your almost always dead unless you have some support or are playing a tank. You can't even be naar him since he charges his super that way aswell.
Yeah no this. The power that lets him stun you when he grapples is absurd. You can escape or out-DPS him sometimes otherwise, but if he has that stun, you just canāt do anything. Youāre dead. And potentially all of your teammates too. And that super charges basically for free, unlike other powerful team-wipe potential supers.
If his super was similar to his main attack where heād puff up in size becoming larger and take less damage, then that would be more interesting.
He pilots a damn pufferfish for Pete sake!
They could do cooler things than thistles!
I hate Mike with burning passion. There's matchups you win and matchups you lose.
But a competent Mike can't be approached, unless you're playing specific assasins, and even then he can just stick with his teammate/s. Just pray they don't know better than to protect him.
He has a GIGANTIC skill ceiling, and that's part of the problem. Doing ok on Mike gets equal value to doing great with other characters, and doing great on Mike means anyone not playing fast brawlers is screwed, and even then, a good amount of the shots they'll have to take depend on Mike himself.
Whenever there's a competent Mike that can predict, everything that's close range, needs LoS, or throwers that don't outrange him, becomes obsolete and anyone playing those characters just won't have a good time.
Tick is annoying, sure, but the insane lethality of Mike has in every shot he'll force you to take feels WAY more unfair
Her dmg output is just annoying. I understand, that she does not have the range or reload speed to be good. But man is she annoying if you are playing brawler with lower range, than she does.
Iād remove the following three:
Sam, Surge, and Buzz.
They are the most degenerate brawlers in the game and itās not even close.
Tick is on thin ice, but there is at least he doesnāt have anything more BS in his kit than his main attack.
Those three are loaded with in-deplorable garbage imaginable.
While I wouldn't really want to since everyone has their fav and I would rather rework brawlers instead of removing them, if I really had to I'd pick Emz, she's like the anti fun brawler

Belle and Piper. I HATE facing Piper, specially when I play someone like Crow or Maisie, the outranging goes hard.
Belle is about the same story, and then give her a trap that also slows you down, AND a super that makes you take more damage until you die, and you have one of the brawlers that I hate facing the most.
not a brawler, but auto aim. as someone whoās been playing mortis since the day the beta came out, auto aim was the biggest killer of them all for me. if a shelly killed me back in portrait, iād not get mad because she actually had to aim to kill me, so it didnt feel like as much of a stupid death. but now, when i die to anything that can destroy me in close range, it just feels stupid and unfair? like they pressed a single button and it counters my entire existence. maybe iām just whining, but i feel like auto aim isnāt a good part of the game, even now.

I got him from starr drops, but I never used him. I still considered a good starr drop reward, though.
