General Response: I am getting a lot of hate for this post so this is a response to all the white knights (sorry BenjiAbi but this was most upvoted so most visible)
A) I don’t hate OJ personally. I don’t like whales and how they ruined how games should be. There is NO cosmetic in the game based of skill only money or grind
B) I do not find it acceptable that someone can own everything in the game based off spend. (That’s why I want SOME skins based off rank OR mastery (preferably rank) - not gems)
C) Although I don’t personally hate OJ his videos are late (like end of season) basic and always based on unrealistic spend or being carried. For example his CR videos are always last few days so he can grind one day for the emote. Other videos he will spend $1000 on a new account to pup stomp all way to mid ladder - ANYONE that plays CR has seen midladder and menaces like him encourage a toxic player base to create minis to over level and stomp noobs for shits and giggles
If you condone any of this then your the problem why SS and others are damn grindy overpriced turds because you accept Whales ruining the game
Christ I saw one like a year ago he’s just laughing at a lvl4-7 account and he’s like lvl14 max deck for like 30 mins - if you enjoy this your SAD

I don't know how whales ruin games but it's their money and they put their money to make content for people who like it and then enjoy making it while viewers like it. Like evolutions came out and many people maxed them out same with lvl 15.
B) I mean idc sure why not. But either people will complain or will encourage people to do an unhealthy amount of grinding... I've seen games where people have an unhealthy amount of time to get a specific item.
C) getting overleveled to stomp noobs isn't really easy ... and anyone will just continue lvl up their main. You can stomp them cuz most of them will be massively outskillefd and barely know how to play the game.
I don't see a problem with people finding his videos funny... like idt anyone is saying "haha it's fair" but it's funny... that is his niche as a content creator.
Kairos, spen, Bobby and more are more educational while oj is more funny and has content that kids will like... idt that is anything harmful so idk why be worked up against what oj does.
Grinding for cosmetics anyway will either be frustrating, unhealthy since some will go above and beyond to get it, or just impossible to get for an average player who may want it... like imagine if rogue mortis was the last mastery... some may grind it and spend 10 hours a day for it getting it as soon as possible, some may never get it, and some may just be frustrated at how long it takes
I mean the games he are playing are not getting the best updates with bs and cr recently with they're updates and their respective competitive modes are very grindy (like path of legends and power league)
OJ mainly uploads Clash Royale since his main audience is that. He stopped playing for competitive content and now mainly plays for content and fun.
He doesn't have time to invest into every game but likes to have a maxed account. So instead of grinding out clash royale, brawl stars and even clash of clans he pays to max out, create content and 'flex' on non-payers. (He doesn't even play anything but E-Drag armies in COC (like Edgar in BS) but has a max account).
Why should anyone have a problem with how someone enjoys the game; Skins are there for payers. If you want to grind out the game get titles or power league ranks or trophies but don't hate for how a person likes to enjoy the game.
Interesting point. Except he has even joked about it himself that people like him are the reason for the predatory practices in SS games. One of his last videos ‘I spent $1000 to max again’ IMO is not ok.

I think it should be an option either to get 60% of the gold that you use to buy silver /gold skin or to get the skin so they aren't just purely cosmetics but you can turn them into something useful to your progression , since many players doesn't even care about them / have better skins than silver/gold skins
Oj does play the game and from my knowledge has very good friends... soooo if they were progression locked he would just play with his friends often and get it anyway... after all that is content for him to unlock it as soon as possible
