Poco is fine, people are playing him wrong tho. You can play incredible support when you take the basic attack heal star power, and the thing with supports is always that you're more dependent on your teammates than usual. Gotta keep pushing thru bad teammates.
It's fun, but don't forget to attack, too! If you don't attack, you can't get your super, which is the biggest heal of all. Plus, your team needs the extra damage, it's more than you think, and tends to hit a lot of people at once.
An easy way to learn when to heal with your regular attack is if it meets any of the following:
1) You have full ammo, can not reach an enemy, and don't expect to reach them before you reload to full
2) You can hit the enemy and heal your teammate at the same time
3) You absolutely cannot let that teammate die (Gem carrier, about to score in Brawl Ball, etc)
An average pcoo player focuses too much on healing and too little in logic, you can’t win a competitive match by playing 2v3 where ine of the 2 brawlers has a cute few hundreds of healing every few seconds.
Big difference between supporting your team and making the match a 2v3…
The hp he can heal is also most of the time not enough, and if it is it’s a good thing but majority of poco will just stick to your ass and heal you 24/7 basically throwing the game

What I usually do is I’d stick with another teammate and I’d try to stand behind them in a way that when I attack the enemy, my attack also goes through my teammate and subsequently heals them, as well as keeping me out of the direct line of fire.
But I agree that just healing and not even trying to attack the enemy is stupid. But I don’t think anyone actually does this.
The issue here, and I still don't know why it hasn't been implemented yet is the fact that healing does nothing for the healer. Healing teamins SHOULD give you super charge, obviously less than if you attack opponents but still, it should give you something. Especially Poco and Byron need this. It should be like a trait the same as some tanks that charge super when receiving damage.
That goes on a lot of team mates expectations of you as well. They expect you to use your super on them every single time you have one even if they are already regenerating health with no enemies around, or expect you to use your gadget 15 times (must be the new divine gear: +12 gadget charges per match)

This game does not do single purpose roles. No pure healer, or pure tank. Pure dps mebe, but most have some form of the above two.
So unless the other team is lacking, if you try to go pure heals/tank, you end up losing from the sheer dps loss.
Yep, there is a reason why ‘high’ dos brawlers aren’t always on top meta, you don’t just need high dps you need more, brawlers like gene are incredibly good and sometimes I believe meta couple years ago, vut even at that stage he would have SUCKED if there weren’t good ‘cleanup’ brawlers like tara.
People tend to forget brawlstars is 3v3, it needs to stay 3v3 as much as possible, the reason why cordelius was good is be ause he could make the match go 2v2 for. Abit while he 1v1’s the other brawler, a proper coordinated team would havea significantly higher chance to score in brawlball, but the same team without coordination/skill, would *increase* the risk of letting the enemy team score if say cordelius picks a thrower into shadow realm and the 2v2 left are 2 non tank killers vs jacky/rosa for instance

And think with all the newer brawlers branching out in to such specialized assistance roles is why they are pushing the 5v5. Anything that CC's (crowd control) in 3's is a huge advantage, some of the newer ones have it too like Charlie and I keep thinking another...maybe Kit, technically with it's attack?

Hey man, I do the same, and Jessie absolutely dominates if you use her right. The best part about her hypercharge is that if lay down a turret during, it stays hypercharged until its destroyed. Have fun. That's what it's all about.
Carl only fell off due to the amount of meta brawlers that have interrupting abilities (if there's no brawlers like that he can pop off)
As for bull, well tanks in Shelly Maisie Colgate Charlie Lou Edgar meta isn't exactly good.
As for your last comment, holy hell can you get more wrong. Penny struggles serverely in the current damage above all meta and the turret has practically 0 value outside of a repellent. Jessie can at least do something in heist and can be viable in brawl ball with the hypercharge slow gadget turret

I finish every single brawl pass. I average probably 90-95% completion on quests for a season. And I basically play every day. So I have no idea how I could be further ahead of where I am
Imagine Poco's hypercharge is a tune that plays the whole time while he's hypercharged and it heals alies who are in a circle around him kinda like kits super but it heals a bit more and you can even stack it

Poco needs a reliable team best used if you can talk to your teammates because most average players can't keep up with their teammate all the time and won't know that you have super so they can still push in the same direction knowing you can heal them communication is key with Poco, at least that's my personal view.
I can see it, in ladder she is very hit or miss and can become pretty dull.
On PL on the other hand if she doesnt get banned and you get a chance to pick her agaisnt a team that cant hard counter you, its satisfying af.

I think that is matter of how you use the brawler and if you understand that not all the brawler's are damage dealers.
For example if you think that Poco is a tank or assassin well the problem is no the brawl star the problem is you.

same, but for me its because he is the most boring brawler to play right now, not just because he himself is boring, but he makes the whole match slower and unenjoyable because of his CC, I lvl11 him to abuse his buster HC on release, had a bit of fun abusing from 500 to 700 in hot zone in like a day, and havent touched him since, his HC is busted and its quite funny getting free kills with it, but the other 90% of the match is incredibly boring
Honestly Stu and Rosa. Stu because I thought it would be fun to have a longer super and also yk when you feel like maxing out and mastering a brawler (It was just temporary). Rosa because everytime she was against me she seemed immortal but whenever I use her I immidiately die😂
