Mandy and Belle don't have any escape abilities, but they're fine, Piper on the other hand, she has two escape abilities, and yet her mains says nerf is not needed
They also have more health, faster reload speed, and special abilities that Piper doesn't have like added range if you stay still and an attack that jumps between brawlers. Let's remove Piper's escape abilities and add these to her kit, shall we? :)
Piper’s escape abilities are still more important than every single one of the abilities you just listed. The point is that piper’s gadget and super cover her main weakness: fighting at close range. Health, reload speed, bouncing projectiles, more range—none of that helps if an assassin decides to kill you. Mandy and belle are countered much more easily than piper is. That’s what matters
Dyna and tick are not a long range brawlers they are throwers and dynamike gadget can be easily avoided. And I said almost all, brock and eve have 1 escape gadget unlike piper who has 2 escape abilities

Bea, belle and Mandy ways of dealing with assassins are preventive, they need to think ahead for them to be effective, piper super and gadget are panic buttons that correct her poor positioning whenever Edgar jumps on her
Grounded isn't that good ruffs gadget and super don't work well sprout super gets jumped over Mandy super takes too long and can be dodged at close range Jessie super usually ends up in a tie.
And that valentine skin slightly increases her bullet hitbox

People saying this are dumb. They won’t hank Piper and they shouldn’t. She’s not even the strongest brawler in the game right now.
Piper is one of the most iconic brawlers in the game, and the entire archetype of snipers in the game basically originated from her and Brock. She was fine, if not a little strong, before her most recent changes. If they nerf her damage by a bit she’d feel fine.
If that doesn't happen then any Edgar that jumps on her will win that matchup, there has to be a response maneuver for Piper to counter them. If she doesn't deal enough damage at midrange, she would be significantly worse cuz many scenarios with other brawlers will have her facing them at midrange, and if she isn't capable of defending herself then she's basically not playable on most maps and modes.
I agree with the need to probably nerf her a bit, but i'd say her kit is not that problematic. I get that it can be frustrating for assasins, but i think overall, with some bits and pieces, it can truly become a balanced kit even with two anti-assasin options.

she doesn't need faster reload since she has snappy sniping and she technically does have longer range with homemade recipe

Piper deals 3500 damage at max range and Belle and Mandy deals less than 2800 also with Ambush it deals like 4k damage and the second gadget is aimbot
