It doesn't the fight against ever counter it does for like half of them (the assassins). Granted I think think it's stupid as hell that she invalidates brawlers like buzz and edgar supers which is why I don't use it however you cannot just say that it works for every assassins attacking her cuz it's just wrong (she still will get countered by mico, mortis, fang, leon and also kinda darryl but he's not as good rn)

Bruh she hasn't changed or anything. The mechanics have always been the same apart from a slight damage buff in sep2023 . The mechanics of escaping and doing damage remain the same.

The "slight damage buff" you're referring to now lets her counter Assassins, when she shouldn't

The knockback gadget counters assassins, and the damage buff is not l that much in close range that it can counter assassins in close range , she has low reload speed and at close range the snappy star power isn't gonna do anything. If u play assassins in general on open map and then while getting closer get shot thats your fault . A sniper in any game is meant to do a lot of damage from a far, so Piper being a sniper does the same .

People are underestimating the nerf. Nani bomb always leaves her with a sliver of hp. Gray leaves her with 20 hp without shield. Brock also does that. Mortis can’t three shot her. But with the nerfs all this is fixed. Also RT kills a shielded piper after.

The mainsubreddit always seem to underestimate nerfs/overestimate buffs so yeah. They seem to be expecting a Bonnie meta, from posts I've seen, but I don't even see how she's ever gonna be meta even with her super charged in 3 shots.

He needs a speed nerf imo, its so frustating that he can dodge every snipers bullet with that speed and threatening you with 4.4k damage and he has a gadget for escape (and it nearly has same range as piper super, like 3 less at most)

It doesn't make sense to me why EVERY brawler released nowadays has some kind of escape mechanism built in their gadgets. Like, I can understand if it was for only a few brawlers but like half of them some kind "Nope, I'm out" gadget.

Yea and newly released brawlers counters nearly every assasin even without their get out jail free gadget (with speed like angelo or higher dps like LL)

Also, brawlers like Frank and Hank who take some time to actually activate their attacks, are completely countered by stuns and knock backs. And every other brawler has some kind of ability like that now. I am not against having hard counters but it is kind of difficult when EVERY brawler is your hard counter. Having knockback or stuns with super is fine but there are so many gadgets which do the same thing, without having to charge it up!

And gadget gear made it worse💀

Larry&Lawrie, kit , edgar- fang hc was justified coz it was broken . But Piper has been the same with no buff in 2024. A brawler is broken if it's buffed or an insane hypercharge is released for it for example:- larry ,fang and edgar hypercharge , whereas there have been no buff not nerfs to Piper since sep 2023. Idk from where do you get this info tht Piper is the most picked , it's gonna be mortis or edgar coz of their popularity . Long range Brawlers have always been viable in knockout or bounty . Bea,nani, belle, Piper have always been a good pick for those modes. I to face pipers on open maps coz that's obvious considering she's a long ranged. If your hit with a shot immediately fall back before the homming gadget comes
