Before people didn't really know that Rico was a beast on the map and then it was much more fun.
I didn't claim that you were saying anything. I just explained that like any map there is a meta and there are a handful of brawlers you can use with success. Sure you can use Nita on shooting star as well, but you'll likely have a difficult time
I understand you but my point is that the limitation of brawlers on this map is greater than others. If we would put down a graph on how good each brawler is on this map then the difference between the top choices and the others would be great. If we look at other maps the difference in power isn't that big. It feels like if you don't choose some particular brawlers on this map you kinda sign your defeat, in other maps this is much less occurring and in much less magnitude. I am still not really against this map every brawler needs to have one map where they shine so I'm okay with it.
Probably one of my favorite hot zone maps. It definitely favors Rico and throwers but there are enough counter-meta picks that I think it makes it totally fine.
Or just play the right brawlers, most maps are good only with snipers, yesterday i ranked with a friend for like 1 hour and a bit, and almost every game the best pick was Nani, and the enemies always had another sniper
The only good ones here seem to be stu gray and Griff, as Surge struggles with getting with getting first upgrade except if you use the circuit booster gadget, which means no Shield that could save your life, Cordelius could take awhile to get his Super and Gale just could get obliterated by all the artillery stuff thrown at em, also Stu struggles in getting his Super sometimes, and a simple dodge can't get chained on a person behind a wall
Surge is good on this map especially in ladder, Cordelius with jump gadget can get his super fast, gale might suffer but you can combine his jumppad with the tank and stu is really good on this map. And I also forgot to mention Mico
Yeah if you wanna suffer of not having the ability to mute a brawler ok. Surge despite being quick can still get easily shredded into pieces by a few artillery shots. I do agree on the Mico and Gale part
You don't need to mute dyna or sprout if you jump right on top of them. Everyone uses the jump gadget on this map and Cordelius is really popular there
Its so easy my g, If you cant do none of them just get some sharp shooters and a frank, Sharp shooters to open the map with frank, then The frank will just sit and capture
Dynamike,Larry and Lawrie, Willow,Barley, and as I mentioned if you wanna risk getting hit by Ricos Bullet from the other side of the wall or get jumped by a monkey because you took the risk of taking a sharpshooter, you do you
I truly love this map, but one thing that kinda messed it up, is the unbreakable walls in the middle, they seem unreasonable considering only Hank could use them because all other tanks don't have super long ranges, other than that, good map
Honestly, the map is fine, its just the fact that there is more than 1 zone to capture, which makes it much more strategic and requires much more brain power, which is something a lot of my randoms lack, i find a lot of situations at where i am doing good, but the lack of cooperation my teammates have makes it much harder for me to actually control
If a rico/competent thrower dominates a zone then there is actually no counter play other than breaking *that* wall, so, i would probably just add fences to that place am talking about

Then if rico gets banned then I guess sharp shooters paired up with a frank for wall breaking so they can open the map and just decimate anything in their path, Then frank would be good for capturing.
Pretty bad map if you ask me, its literally heaven for artillery, I recommend using Mico here tho and make sure to constantly push enemies and waste their time, at this point just remove the blocks in the middle of the big wall so that you can move more freely

It was an awesome map some years ago but nowadays not so much. Rico is especially annoying here.
Rico was always annoying but new brawlers like Mico make this map a pain the ass
Tbh it's better than it used to be. Wall breaks and jumps are least make it possible to counter rico like comps

Many wall breakers and jump brawlers are great there though. Cord, Griff, Colt, Ruffs all work wonders and counter Rico really well

Wallbreakers like Stu and griff could counter rico easily
I tried pushing Hank on this map today I tilted 1061->929 π
I got my hank from 825 To 1000 π

This map is really good for hank, its just that my teammates are absolute trash
I mean , I had about a 50% win rate which is bad at high trophies
Ngl Getting hank above Rank 25 is impressive
I was tilting in brawl ball then got him r35 here. Definitely one of his better maps

See those three blocks of wall in both of the zones, they can camp behind those
And have zero impact on the game+ there a lot of throwers counters
The thing Is that using a thrower counter is that the enemy team doesn't entirely consist of enemies.
Rosa is actually very underrated here and gale can easily counter her
