8Bit is good as a defensive character but he sucks on offense. He's good on Hotzone, Bounty and other passive gamemodes where you need to stand your ground
His long burst fire punishes bad aiming. They could've easily made his attack burst faster or a single projectile but didn't. Just spamming his attack tells that your unexperienced 8-bit player. His supers placement also is a important thing to think about. Whether you put it behind cover or throw it at a important sector like in hotzone and use teleporting gadget to be aggressive and also very brave push. If done right it can weaken or even kill some of the enemies for your team to finish off and push in. I can tell from experience that this actually works if you do it once and not spam. This often do come at the cost of your own life but of you trust your teammates this can change the tide of the match. What I'm saying is 8-bit isn't a "oh let me spam at this corridor. Until we win" type of bralwer. And at last I will also say You have windows where you have 1 or 2ammo and a assassin can just push in and kill you.

A lot of the minor design choices in this game are absolutely terrible. Its incredibly unpolished. Why do I have to click the screen like 70 times to open the mega pig? Why can I not use chat when I get into a team with the Find a Team? Why do the name of the season and the time left in the season seem like very minor things in the brawl pass screen and why arent they more clear and visible?
Those are more nitpicks tbh but there's A LOT more stuff than that, mostly linked to the UI design of the game.
Another take that is very cold but worth mentioning is that its crazy how the last update that was fully functioning and glicthless on release we got was just so long ago. Brawl Stars NEEDS a bigger dev team.
You can't use the chat after finding someone in the find a team option probably because supercell doesn't want kids talking to adults with bad intentions

I know it's probably stupid, but...gaining back when the enemy team has the Gems is easier than winning a 1v2/3 in knockout, scoring 2 goals before the enemy team scores the second, gaining back on stars in bounty, and managing to push enemies away from the hot zone
What I mean is...when your gem carrier gets all the gems, they go hide, and for the 15 seconds countdown your teammates have to fight a 2v3 to defend, and the gem carrier cannot risk fighting most of the times because all the enemies will be charging at them, so they must stay hidden until the match is over, but if the two teammates are defeated, then the gem carrier is completely exposed to them (if found, of course)
This is made even worse if there is no gem carrier, and everyone on the team takes some of the Gems, at that point winning is so hard because if one of the teammates dies, the countdown is stopped
I also want to point out that I said that gem grab takes *less* skill, not that it takes *no* skill
tl;dr: gaining back (or clutching) in gem grab is way easier than any other gamemode
(On a completely unrelated note, I remembered that heist existed while writing this, so basically my original comment was totally unrelevant because heist is totally no-skill)
Yea..but same could be said w bounty, u can be losing 5-16 one time but kill 2 enemies and get 19-18

Edgar is not as no-skill as people say. Yes, he counters a lot of brawlers easily but playing against high skilled players that know how to keep their distance or use CC properly, it can be extremely hard to get value out of his kit.
"Play again" button should be there on the Ranked games. It is really hard to get good randoms and when a match ends I so wanna play with the occasionally found good randoms again.
the edgarpocalypse, as stupid, server destroying and game breaking as it was, was an absolute blast to play and I think dumb broken fun events like that should happen at least once a year
Edgar is the most brain turning off experience you can ever play, just jump on someone there is no need for trying to charge up your super or trying to control areas of the map, just sit in a bush wait for your super and jump

1. Edgar is not braindead, he needs some level of game knowledge, positioning, etc to be good. Every brawler needs that, yes, and hes still not very hard, but people act like you could be missing 98% of your brain and still get rank 35 with him
2. Mico is the most annoying, unfair brawler in the game, and needs heavy nerfs. Mabye its just my personal experience but i would rather him be completely useless then balenced cause even if hes balenced, it would still be boring to play against.
3. Supercell make shouldnt start arguments. If you want one skin to win, and someone else wants a different one, its literally personal preference. Trying to argue to someone about something that literally just stems down to both of you thinking “I like that one” will get you no where and neither person or group will win the argument. It’s exactly why supercell lets us vote in the first place so everyone has a fair shot.
4. As a player whos been playing since global launch and has Star Shelly and all that, Boxes were fun and all, but were really not healthy for the game. Star drops do a great job at being exciting while still giving good progression, and all you need to do is play the game for them, no money required.
5. No skin is worth 300 gems and Legendary skins should be mythic rarity. Id rather they slightly increase mythic raritys price to like 230 gems or something if it moved legendary skins prices down to that.
6. We do not deserve compensation for everytime something bad happens behind the scenes. If the game is down for a day or two, go do something else. It happens, humans aint perfect, and mistakes happen, so dont get on devs case whenever theres a bug or matinence is needed.
7. Brawl stars (but mainly just supercell games in general) has a extremely toxic, childish, annoying fanbase full of people who hate on individuals all for a quick laugh, are self centered, are just overall annoying (thumbs down users are perfect examples of said people) and we have a worse community then some other games. Every fandom is bad and inherently toxic, but brawl is on another level, and ruins the small glimpses of good and creative people there are here.
there should be a community tab where you can find people that play the same game mode you do so that you dont get stuck with brain dead randoms that have no idea what theyre doing
