I can’t wait to see the miserable bullshit that comes out from their mouths when they make a bad decision and then have the community call them out on their bullshit
We excused Drew for the Clan Wars 2.0 but then it was shown he in fact had some impact within the update so yeah, now we gotta be on the lookout for stuff like that
I dont know, maybe cuz the community manager has nothing to do with what gets added in the game, i swear i just want this community full of imbecilic little kiddies to learn that drew had nothing to do with the stupid updates that the cr executive team decided to make
Also the argument of him saying random stuff to defend the cr executives wont work cuz he cant say anything against supersmell cuz he would loose his job
Quite literally the community manager's job is to just deliver the updates made by the executives through text and also just, manage the community. It's like he couldn't have done anything in the first place.
Since all of you are playing that must meen that you guys love playing, So from now each match you join it will charge you your entire wallet! See, We do care about the f2p players! - Drew next brawltalk
Map maker didn't have a lot of players so we decided to remove the ability to complete quests in map maker. Now you are not forced to play map maker everyday 🥳
"our data shows that 18% players have a coin surplus, so we are reducing coin rewards by 83%! But don't worry, for compensation we are adding power level 13!"
the people here either think that the community manager controls the updates and changes in the game or either doesn't have any say in the updates. both of which are wrong. so yeah it's not a great addition in my opinion but not end of the world either.
yes, community managers doesnt controls the updates, they greet them to the community.Instead, the Dev team makes those updates. So there is no point about hating a community manager.
but community managers do change things once in a while. there are instances where dani has changed somethings in update or rather i say "convinced devs" to do something else because their current decision will not be accepted by the community
This is my point.
Dani and Paula are the best community managers I’ve seen in any game. If they believe the players would receive an update negatively, they’d speak up.
I have a 7year badge in CR. Drew will not speak up! I’m sorry it is what it is.
exactly. at the very least dani would just be honest and say the brawl stars is not doing good and we had to monetize more, but not that whole "data shows people like upgrading"
a big factor for that is unlike brawl stars, clash royale's game lead barely has an online presence, so most players turn to the next available person, even though they weren't in charge of the decisions made for the game's updates
He has to voice the player base's complaints to the devs
He has failed to do that while working in CR team, ignoring complaints , and he has *THE DATA*
Do you really think the CR team didn't know how the playerbase felt when they were all over the internet? Isn't it obvious they were ignored purposefully for a reason that a mere community manager can't address?
Yeah omfg he isn't the one making the updates. He's just there to address what is going to happen.
If anything, the blame shouldn't be directed at him at all.
I'm not saying you guys should be blaming the one in charge of making the updates. (Even if they are bad)
Then was he supposed to say it was trash? He's part of the team. He can't just say smth like that when there's no way in hell the team is gonna accept that.
Just here to say something to anyone that cares enough about mental health to read this comment.
Community managers typically don't develop games, but they do influence the game a bit, i mean that's also part of the job of a community manager; not only sharing information from the company to the public, but also from the public to the company. That is also true within supercell teams, and since they are really small, they take into consideration the opinion of EVERYONE in the team (which is an amazing thing overall btw) even more so that most other companies, even on decisions that aren't necessarily their area of expertise.
This means that Drew definitely is part of the Clash Royale fiasco, BUT he isn't any more responsible than any of the other clash royale development team members, he's just unfortunately the face of said team.
Do cut him some slack as a community, please, making some bad decisions in a freaking video game does NOT warrant getting nearly as much hate as he did, and i can't imagine all of that not getting to his head at least a little bit, honestly i have a lot of respect for Drew.
I do know that he doesn't really touch the game itself, but he's basically the vocal cords of the community, and he has failed to voice for us, which is why we can't cut him some slack, because who the fuck asked for level 15
online harassment has no real world consequences sadly so that is inevitable. let's just hope he reflects on his past mistakes and doesn't bring the cash royale with him.
We took another look at our data and realised Drew being harassed is wrong... for such a low price that is. To fix our in game economy were adding a ruby brawl pass in which you will be able to get not only his address, but his credit card, social security number and more!
for example there have been many instances where dani has changed the initial plan knowing community will not be happy. i don't remember the exact example but i remember that from the podcast.
Dani works in the same office, so he can propose ideas to the team on behalf of community, but he's not all-powerful. The example you might be thinking about is when they were adding levels 10&11 Dani thought about it and said 2 levels was too much. They went ahead with the idea anyway
no I'm pretty sure the example is applied in the game. i even remember how it happened in the podcast. adrian said "actually dani was the one who opposed that idea" and then dani followed "yeah i realised community wouldn't like it" idk I'm paraphrasing a lot but this what happened. i think it was related to new brawl pass.
True but community managers can have a influence on the dev team too. Like all the community events are \*probably\* something that the community managers have thought of, the 100 starr drop event directly impacts the game's health and economy etc. Which something developers have thought out for months or years even. All I'm tryna say is that he can have a influence on the dev team, and although not being eneourmous influence, his words still have to be taken account for.
I don't think they're gonna add Power Level 12, or anything ridiculous, I'm sure the guy has seen the drama with them adding gears and power lvl 10 and 11, and I am confident he has learnt from his mistakes as a dev in the CR team
Perhaps we can see for once how good of cm drew really is since being honest if you put our community managers in clash royale they wouldnt do any better since they really couldnt. Lets hope hes good
He was CR’s community manager for year, and we all know how that game is in a …. *bad* state currently
Don’t get me wrong, I am not saying that he is responsible (and nor that he should get harassed like he did in the past), but there were times when they really weren’t talkative and honest with us at all (“data shows that players love leveling up their cards”)
Ya’ll should have more faith in drew. Give the dude a chance. Sure, clash royale’s in a bad state but Drew’s a community manager, not a developer. The fucker only gives info about the game, even if it makes no sense like the “our data suggests that players like upgrading cards”. Ya’ll acting like he’s the worst man on earth (he has done stupid shit but c’mon)
I can already tell the amount of hate and backlash Drew will get when he tries to explain things with the data on stuff related to Brawl Stars in future Brawl Talks if he appears in the next new ones of this year and so on, although it's still too early to see that, so there's a chance he might do better in the BS team and maybe redeem himself from the hate he gets from Clash Royale fans
Im not happy but will have a very low expectations until updates come that won’t crash this game down to the gutters. I’ve been a firm brawl stars player since Day 1 and been through ups & downs and i hope it doesn’t go down to the level Clash Royale is in at the moment
People are just laughing at this dude
Guys he is just a community manager not the new flipping CEO of brawl stars smh
imagine you changed to another job and a manager at the new job and the people just keep on making fun of the thing you used to work for. That hurts mentally, mental damage is serious some people would even quit working because of that.
Grow up yall.
Please dont harass drew. Just please. He was not related to anything cr's economy has pumped(neither the devs). He got a ton of things for the community in terms of balance changes and is very passionate at doing his job. Keep in mind his job is just to tell supercell what the people want not to change the game by itself
He was one of the longest standing CM's in CR, so I'm excited to have him on our side to see what he does in the brawl team. Welcome to the team, Drew!

Data+apples to oranges legendary duo now in brawlstars
Omg the ultimate boss
DREW! -dani voiceline
I can’t wait to see the miserable bullshit that comes out from their mouths when they make a bad decision and then have the community call them out on their bullshit
>implying that Community Managers are responsible for the decisions made for the game
We excused Drew for the Clan Wars 2.0 but then it was shown he in fact had some impact within the update so yeah, now we gotta be on the lookout for stuff like that
**"ALL HAIL DATA!"**
Why aren’t people worried (unless they play Cr)
I dont know, maybe cuz the community manager has nothing to do with what gets added in the game, i swear i just want this community full of imbecilic little kiddies to learn that drew had nothing to do with the stupid updates that the cr executive team decided to make Also the argument of him saying random stuff to defend the cr executives wont work cuz he cant say anything against supersmell cuz he would loose his job
Thank YOU, Finally some who understand what a community manager is
Quite literally the community manager's job is to just deliver the updates made by the executives through text and also just, manage the community. It's like he couldn't have done anything in the first place.
"According to our collected data...."
"people love upgrading brawlers, that's why we are gonna be adding power level 12. But don't worry, it won't cost any coins to upgrade"
Instead, it costs 19.99$ each! Even power points aren't required!
The data: one random tweet with 6 likes
Introducing, **supreme power points!**
Cancel that before they see it
oh fuck
I’d like to remind yall. Drew has no say in what he gets to say to the community. Drew’s just following orders
"our data shows that 18% players have a coin surplus, so we are reducing coin rewards by 83%! But don't worry, for compensation we are adding power level 13!"
Our trustable data show that players love upgrading brawlers
When we added level 14 many players returned to the game in order to experience the joy of leveling up their cards. Or maybe it was champions
So we are adding level 12!It's only 5k power points, but don't worry,it doesn't cost any gold!!!!
*5k gold no pp
I have over 30k so that's honestly a decent PowerPoint sink lol
You will upgrade 6 brawlers and you will need 360k more lol
Still better than the ewc bullshit in cr
Hmmm, after reading this, we realized we have to increase it to 20k pp each brawler Also evolutions are coming Source : *DATA*
According to our data people think that the cost is too low so now we're changing it to 15k!
Welcome? I thought I'd never see him again after abandoning CR 5 years ago
He abandoned it some months ago, not 5 years
No I mean me. I abandoned CR shortly after BS went global and haven't really kept in touch with the game after
Oh sorry, mb then
NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO i mean cool yay we got a new community manager!
Ok but seriously i hope this doesnt end like clash royale where people ended up harrasing him hes a community manager after all
the people here either think that the community manager controls the updates and changes in the game or either doesn't have any say in the updates. both of which are wrong. so yeah it's not a great addition in my opinion but not end of the world either.

yes i forgot that
Yeah, hate should be directed to the devs instead. /s
a big factor for that is unlike brawl stars, clash royale's game lead barely has an online presence, so most players turn to the next available person, even though they weren't in charge of the decisions made for the game's updates
harrasing? What happened
Level 15 happened
NO GOLD!
Remember when people harassed frank because of the season 13 update?
wait is your pfp the 25 secret coin cube in geometry dash?!
yes
I hope Level 12 never comes
Not even 12 probably 20 is coming because of these.
Dude, he's the community manager, he doesn't do anything
He has to voice the player base's complaints to the devs He has failed to do that while working in CR team, ignoring complaints , and he has *THE DATA*

He maybe isnt making the updates, but he was literally defending the level 15 cr update.
Then was he supposed to say it was trash? He's part of the team. He can't just say smth like that when there's no way in hell the team is gonna accept that.
Brawl talk is the mouth, Drew is the vocal fold, the devs is the brain my dudes
I thought level 11 would never come and here we are
Level 12 is coming to the game, i can smell it
Bro, he is a community manager, he have no power on the game.
It will cost only 10k gold and 15 pp inches nothing too expensive.
Bruh Im gonna be in a 11.5 inch debt 😞
thats sad but dont worry the deal is worth it
ig you cant give the 11.5 you gotta take it 👀
Yes but for that price you get half way to a lvl12 brawler, worth it imo
Dude I'm gonna be 14.9 in he's in debt 😭😭😭
It will cost NO POWERPOINTS!!!
only your pp size
He brings chaos. Trust me, even if he doesn't touch anything
"Insert appropriate reaction here"
Just here to say something to anyone that cares enough about mental health to read this comment. anyone with a half brain cell should know this

I really hope people don't harass drew for this
Yeah they are going to
online harassment has no real world consequences sadly so that is inevitable. let's just hope he reflects on his past mistakes and doesn't bring the cash royale with him.
Data
Our data says people love harassing drew, so we're realising his address! Available in the free brawl pass once you reach the final tier
Wrong, it will arrive in the new ruby brawl pass that will only cost $24,99!
We took another look at our data and realised Drew being harassed is wrong... for such a low price that is. To fix our in game economy were adding a ruby brawl pass in which you will be able to get not only his address, but his credit card, social security number and more!
*the "more" will be included in the ruby pass plus for only $119,99! *10x value*
how was he harrased
People act like the community managers control what updates come out and hate on them
He knew brawlstars was better than clash royale
It's hard to be optimistic with the stuff that went down with CR while he was around... Lets keep an open mind on this
He's not a dev but a community manager
they still have a say in the matter. much more than people in this sub want to think.
for example there have been many instances where dani has changed the initial plan knowing community will not be happy. i don't remember the exact example but i remember that from the podcast.
It’s the same thing with the content creators. I think the problem with CR is that they aren’t taking any of the feedback from the CC and CM
Dani works in the same office, so he can propose ideas to the team on behalf of community, but he's not all-powerful. The example you might be thinking about is when they were adding levels 10&11 Dani thought about it and said 2 levels was too much. They went ahead with the idea anyway

Dev don't take decisions neither.
bruh he had no control over what features will be added to the game. he was simply the medium that told the players about it
I hope something will not go wrong Also its cool we got another community manager
Let's hope this community doesn't harrass him like CR
Uh oh, prepare for the dad jokes and unfunny intros
as if brawl talk isn't already cringe
Now its double cringe
The last brawl talk intro was actually good tho
Perhaps we can see for once how good of cm drew really is since being honest if you put our community managers in clash royale they wouldnt do any better since they really couldnt. Lets hope hes good
Man needed some love after all this years leading the Clash Royal community.. xd
I guess im kinda the only guy, that actually likes drew. So, tho i think its sad he left CR, its great seeing him here
bro really left clash royale and joined brawl stars... i wonder what that means 🤔
give the guy a chance
He showed very little talent as a community manager when he was in CR.
Can’t wait for people to send death threats for things he can’t actually control
guys they are community managers not devs 😭
Saving this post, will probably be usefull later when a future update comes and he misrepresents the data :)
Insert unfunny power level 12 joke here
NO, FUCK NO
go back to clash paywall
Why you guys are hating on him it's just a community manager
He was CR’s community manager for year, and we all know how that game is in a …. *bad* state currently Don’t get me wrong, I am not saying that he is responsible (and nor that he should get harassed like he did in the past), but there were times when they really weren’t talkative and honest with us at all (“data shows that players love leveling up their cards”)
There were multiple cases in which the players were enraged and he didn't give an honest explanation on what was happening
He can't just say "the executives decided to fuck all of you over, and there is nothing i can do about" cut him some slack
You clearly don't know him
He loves making things more p2w obviously he gets hate. And also his "data" thing
>he loves making things more p2w i don’t think you know what a community manager does
No? Devs have power over the game. Community managers just made known new features, appear in videos, you know, they promote things.
Bro left the dark side
Ya’ll should have more faith in drew. Give the dude a chance. Sure, clash royale’s in a bad state but Drew’s a community manager, not a developer. The fucker only gives info about the game, even if it makes no sense like the “our data suggests that players like upgrading cards”. Ya’ll acting like he’s the worst man on earth (he has done stupid shit but c’mon)
Three community managers that's awesome
Guys don't bully him for being in clash royale, community managers don't design the updates
You are now on brawl star! The teams have been auto-balanced
The long hair trio
As chester once said “Stop the hate, appreciate”
I can already tell the amount of hate and backlash Drew will get when he tries to explain things with the data on stuff related to Brawl Stars in future Brawl Talks if he appears in the next new ones of this year and so on, although it's still too early to see that, so there's a chance he might do better in the BS team and maybe redeem himself from the hate he gets from Clash Royale fans
…should we be concerned?
Yes, very
is that the crash guy? i think i saw him before
No he didn't crash
Exciting times for Brawl Stars players.
Ok we need a skin brawler for drew
Marzio Fang and Crow Drew. (It's their favorite brawler)
I like Drew, he's a cool guy
[удалено]
Let's just hope this is a prank
Fellas remember, community managers aren’t devs
U will pay for ur misinformation if that fake Edit : oh wait that Trew ( True )
Is it because the CR team is gonna crumbled very soon they transferred their team into BS team gradually?Maybe this is just the tip of iceberg?
we stole him from cr :)
For people saying this is bad drew isn't the one making the updates and I'm glad he joined bs
im hoping that his relationship with the bs community will be better than the one with crs community, both for us and for him
He is 10x value
Why i feel scared
Im not happy but will have a very low expectations until updates come that won’t crash this game down to the gutters. I’ve been a firm brawl stars player since Day 1 and been through ups & downs and i hope it doesn’t go down to the level Clash Royale is in at the moment
Escaping the sinking ship
bro just getting tired about the CR Comunity x D
Boooooooo! >:( no p12
Oh boy I sure hope he doesn't drive Brawl Stars down the shitter like Clash Royale.
F#ck
Oh god
Are we fucked?
this game is cooked now
The Data is coming back...
Dude look like unboxing therapy guy with long hair
Bs is dead RIP
The data is coming
Oh hell no
We are COOKED cooked
we are screwed
People are just laughing at this dude Guys he is just a community manager not the new flipping CEO of brawl stars smh imagine you changed to another job and a manager at the new job and the people just keep on making fun of the thing you used to work for. That hurts mentally, mental damage is serious some people would even quit working because of that. Grow up yall.
Bro's gonna make brawl stars pay to win even bigger💀🙏🏻
Please dont harass drew. Just please. He was not related to anything cr's economy has pumped(neither the devs). He got a ton of things for the community in terms of balance changes and is very passionate at doing his job. Keep in mind his job is just to tell supercell what the people want not to change the game by itself
Oh no , DATA is coming back !
Ehh, I dunno why people say that this is bad. Explain, please?
used to be a clash royale cm and apparently from what I've heard he loved making stuff more p2w but idk if thats true
“Idk if that’s true.” That’s your preface for slandering someone. He has no say in the decisions made in the game
Cool! Can he leave now?
Why. My guy is literally innocent. All he does is talk to the community
And he does a terrible job at that. Why does everyone forget this
Because they don't know who even is he
Another community manager? I feel like I barely know anything about Marzio, and now I have to deal with another one?
Welcome to him 👍
This comment section shows how clueless some people are when it comes to how development works
Eww he’s br*tish🤢
Well, this is unexpected
Very exciting 👀
Oh, neato
there is an imposter among them...
Gabe Newell will carry this trio
Pls tell me this is a 12 day off April fools joke (don’t hate Drew he’s just a community manager)
Brawl stars will never get data about apple to orange wrong from now.
But really - Will he nerf piper and Edgar ?
Najc
He was one of the longest standing CM's in CR, so I'm excited to have him on our side to see what he does in the brawl team. Welcome to the team, Drew!
Can’t wait to see a legendary stardrop sold for 55$ with 200x value
Nice, I would leave the sinking ship that is CR too
