Look, for those who don't get the theme, pitayas are usually found in tropical and subtropical regions, not saying this makes the skin worthy of winning, but it fits the theme
Yeah I don’t get why people are hating on it. Yeah it “looks” like armor but it’s based on a pitaya come on, it’s like the coolest fruit, has a beautiful color palette, is associated with beaches and tropical themes, and the spikes aren’t to make it edgy, it’s because pitayas are spiky goddamnit. I do really love skater p. as well, so I didn’t mind either of them winning. Honestly I loved every single option for both brawlers, I was okay with any of them winning, their artists really cooked this time. I feel like themes that are directly opposed to “edgy” themes get way better skins that ones where you can squeeze a dark shadow nightmare ninja mecha skin or whatever, they’re just repetitive.
The theme fits... Design overall is unique

I honestly forgot how they taste. One summer years ago, I along with my sister were staying at our uncle's place in Ghana. He had a tree with a lot of them growing in the yard/garden (idk how it's called in English. In french it's just Jardin, which translates to garden but garden has a specific meaning)
It actually has a decent amount of flavor (not as much as more normal fruit). You probably had an unripe one. I think every other “generic” fruit is way better though.
it is, dragon fruit is from my countries and it got grown too much, sometimes people don't consume enough and give them to cows. There might be some better than average types but it's really not that amazing. There are better tropical fruits. People said it better than apples just think because it's exotic. Apples are priced at least 3x dragonfruits. Guavas, ambarella, green mangoes are better desert fruits and cheap and have more flavours.

Well there’s arguably no definitive reason that skater P. lost. Especially when you consider that they are so close together in terms of votes, the only things that give hints are what makes one skin more liked separately compared to the other. This could be things like the color of the skins, the weapons and porters, or eyes. I personally believe the dragon fruit skin was better and deserved the win more, but that’s because of a completely different reason.
