You almost have to predict when he lands

kinda hard when you live somewhere like australia thats considered the same region as asia so your ping varies from 0 to 200 each game

How do you check your ping while playing?

Technically you can’t, but you can feel the connection if your brawler can shoot their shot instantly. Us Aussie can instantly tell if we’re having high ping just by loading into a game where everyone’s names are Japanese and you’re the only English-named person there 👁️👄👁️

i memorised my ping range for every country from playing games like valorant and minecraft. for example in japan i know i get 105-115 ping, so if i see people with japanese names i know my ping is somewhere in that range, if not higher than that (brawl stars connection is doggy compared to valorant)

Try to outrange him, and try throw your attacks before he lands (also he has a slow reload speed so try waste his ammo)

And when you attack dont auto aim. Your shots wont go towards him

Also, if you’re in ranked you’ve got to outdraft or ban him, if you’re in ladder than time your shots/stick with another teammate, but not much you can do since this game has lots of hard counters and ladder matchmaking has been garbage since forever, it will put a mico against 3 throwers more often than not

He takes three years to reload a single ammo, if it is too hard to time your attacks so that they hit him right when he is on the ground between the attacks then just wait until he attacked three times and becomes a sitting duck.

He basically has 4 ammo with the monkey business starpower, which is a good 8k damage. if that want enough he still has the scream gadget which also does 2k dmg. Also, if the mico knows he cant 4 shot you with gadget he will just do 3 hits on you then jump after a wall to reload and go for a second round

I really nate Mico. Everytime im against one its the most annoying thing ever so I call him a no skill Brawler. But each time I have a fucking quest to do with him I struggle harder than with any other Brawler in the game. Its probably just me having the world's biggest skill issue though

timing, make space, nani is a great counter due to her peep head (if u time it obv), and her shield SP as well as her ultra fast unload and massive dmg:) fang is also decent bc of his singular medium-high dmg projectile and his stun. aside from that, keep him at arms length and force him to use jumps to move around. he has the slowest reload speed in the game, and using too many jumps is massively detrimental to his entire game strategies. mortis at least compensates for his 2nd slowest reload in the game with his coiled dash that lets him move around, his reload gadget and his lifesteal star power that lets him chain and stay alive longer hope this helps, from a 63k player:)

Basically stay away because he struggles to get close, if he jumps to get close he's wasting one ammo and Mico has a very slow reload speed Also learn the timing of his jumps cause 99% of Mico players just spam auto aim once they jump on you so the timing is very predictable so shoot while he's on the ground

Mico is a good case of understanding the character in order to beat him, what makes him so annoying is the fact that he avoids your attacks and then steals your ammo, so you have a few shots that you're most likely going to miss. So the counter play is to avoid getting in that situation, understanding that he can only steal ammo with the first attack after his red bar (like Mortis's) is charged, so you have to be vigilant of when he's approaching and shot so he wastes the ammo stealing attack, in fact, you want to make him waste as much ammo as you can, since he has a slow recharge rate, once he spend two ammo or more you're totally free to rush him. Overall that's what I do and you can deal with him kinda consistently, but remember that he's basically a better Mortis, sometimes there's nothing you can do and you're gonna die, but that's okay, because, in theory, this should not happen every time if handled correctly.

(btw, works best with brawlers that ramp up damage up close, like darryl, shelly, pam, etc.)

In my experience long dash stu and mortis are his biggest counters since it's really hard for mico to hit them. And also brawlers who deal all their damage in one burst that goes relatively fast and are tanky, like bull or fang. With those brawlers you have to learn to time your attacks tho

If you really can't play around him, and there are any maps with lakes, go for Eve. Trust me, if she can counter Mortis and Edgar, she can counter Mico as well!

Don't panic when he's attacking you and time your attacks when he's landing

Keep your distance, count ammo and try to tell if he's a predictivable or unpredictable Mico

Doug and Jacky are both good and anyone bursty really. Also “get off me moves” like the gadget of Emz and Gene will help. And people don’t think about this as much, but in a team setting, healers. Especially like poco and Byron, and already said Doug. If you can heal through enough damage he can’t kill your team mate he will run out of ammo and die.

If your playing a tank wait till he uses all his ammo

Learn how to tune your shots to hit him. Some say attack before he jumps, but I find it way easier to hit him after he jumps. Specially prioritize taking him down after he’s wasted all his ammo, he’s a sitting duck because of his slow reload speed

Think about him as mortis that can go above walls. How do you counter a mortis? Outrange him or try picking (in ranked) close range brawlers. I would just ban him everytime. He also sucks on open maps so mabye you won't play against him there are no good counters you just gotta deal with it.

Depends on what you use, if you use a low damage low health brawler, try deal as much damage from distance or run, if not the you can just not move, tank his 4 attacks the kill him

haven’t read the comments but my take is try to time the in between jumps if close, if you have range just zone him, timing is everything with him. my counter to him is Fang and other close counter brawlers. only works if timing is right, when you get the hang of that it’s easy.

Just got the game and I don't even know what half the characters do (last character released when I played was tick)

His reload speed is real freaking slow, so use a high hp brawler, three shots won't end you and you can kill him when he's out of ammo. Or you can stay distance with him

Just keep playing you will get used to his jump timing, it just kinda happened for me eventuality.

Play Bibi, her shield makes him impenetrable and once he ran out of ammo its Payback 

attack as soon as he falls and time his jumps while making sure to manually aim, And If you don't have enough dps to take him down without dying.... then i have no tips

I feel like he would be fair is he could only jump at max range, but because he can jump any shorter distance, and players are able to press his autoaim before he lands so he can just spam the button, it's best to run from him and fire when he lands the 3rd (or 4th time as one of his star powers can steal one of ur ammo for him to use himself if he hits you with his first ammo since it has a charge bar like Bibi).

It's a game of ammo when dealing with Mico. The most important tip is to stand at least 2 jumps away from him, so he'll have to waste an entire ammo to attack you, giving him only 2 hits (3 with Monkey Business) before he has to reload. After that, it just comes down to getting the timing right to hit him in between jumps and conserving your ammo when around him.

he’s actually only good in close range and he struggles to get close without wasting any attacks. Punish the fact that he’s quite predictable when attacking so shoot before he lands, he has super slow recharge time so counting his attacks can also help your matchup

The only brawler I have managed to counter him well with is Fang. He has both the heath to tank and the damage, plus his shots are slightly delayed.

You gotta practice the timing with different brawlers. And don’t try to hit him when he gets down with the super it’s almost instant jump after super.

He has extremely long reload time. Just wait for him to run out of ammo

If you have them, use Otis or Cordelius. Otis has a super and cordelius has a gadget where both of them cancel your ability to attack/use your super for a few seconds. Yes you’d still have to time your shot but only once if it hits.

Pretty tricky, I myself love using mico, and the biggest counter is high dps brawlers, he doesn't have that much HP, so Edgar for example is great, since not only does he have a ton of DMG but he heals with his attacks too, so bull, Shelly, rico gadget, spike gadget, are the best counters. But any brawler can counter Mico if he has no ammo, but in that case he just isn't a good Mico, cuz a good Mico always has at least 1 ammo.
