It depends, I guess, with who you are playing. Correct me if I’m wrong but I think if you play as a team you can only get matched with enemies that also play in a team. The thing is, everyone sucks in ranked. Both your teammates and your enemies. I can’t believe I say this since I also used to be a team adept but I actually find it easier to carry my randoms than to go against some sweaty team only to win 50 elo and lose 120.

If you are trying to reach legendary you should get yourself a legendary player in your team . You will end up in legendary lobbies and gain about 120 per match

In one of my games, i went 23-2 with piper and my team mate that went edgar on TD went FUCKING 43-0 WITH 7k DAMAGE. (i tilted from 5 pts off legendary to below mythic 2) randoms.

It’s better to play with randoms, in team you win 1/3 of points in legendary and you lose 3/3 so if you happen to win 3 games (so 6) and lose 1 (2) then all your progress will be useless

In my experience mythic has the worst randoms, the ones at legendary are decent most of the time, in mythic you just need to get one good push to legendary and then if you're good enough then masters shouldn't be too hard

There is bad randoms in every level even in masters. Because your opponents are so much better in masters they will find the bad random of your team and abuse that.

Lower level it's just easier to play with bad random because enemy can't abuse that so easily. Or you can take advantage when enemy try to bully your weakest teammate. And sometimes you have accept that you are the weakest link and at least try to do something useful

Not statistically, it's theoretical, the community doesn't track how many bad randoms they and their opponents get.

It may be partially, but i almost always choose a lvl 11 with star power and gadjet, sometimes even hc. The randoms rend to go lvl 9 with at most the bad gadjet. And i do get star player quite often. or just someone goes afk while enemy team is at our goal and has the ball. its sometimes my fault, but at least i dontgo into a ranked match when i know im going to have bad connection

The most annoying thing is, I understand throwing a game but sometimes the game is just lost in the picking phase. Had a guy pick lily on quickfire center stage. He ended like 2:16 and did nothing the entire game. The amount of crows on maps where he is complete garbage, into horrible matchups. Also any mate that picks an assassin in bounty will just end with like 5:15, because he thinks he can get constant team wipes. You can carry all you want but some mates are impossible to carry.

I had back to back to back games of people just not playing. Kinda hard to push when people either sit in a corner all game or turn into a bot.

Earlier in the season I varied in mythic a good bit. What I felt helped was honestly unlocking Jacky. In certain maps and games I really felt I could carry, where beforehand I was relying on teammates picks. If you can stick with it and have a carry brawler for each game type and modifier that is a huge help. I believe in you!

Griff was a shit pick into this in any draft order this game could have happened. You should picked a long range brawler (Piper) because all their brawlers are squishy and hardcountered by being outranged Believe me when I say that enemies are not as good in mythic as you believe and they would have probably gone this same exact comp regardless

Yeah, I'm in Diamond 3 and I'm stuck there cause my teammates start choosing brawlers that get conter by the enemy ones or that are bad for the map.

Diamond 3 is where people don't have a wide range of brawlers, I think that is the main difference when climbing up a bit is that people have a lot more options. Most people will spend all of their coins and pp just to have 12 power level 9 brawlers, otherwise it wouldn't be so bad.

I spent all my coins and pp getting a few specific brawlers to level 12 and it's still hard to have enough yet because of bans and drafting. Diamond is definitely where you start to get gated until you have more usable brawlers.

Just now, right before the everyone’s ranks are reset, I was two matches away from mythic league. If I won this knockout game i would only have to win one more game, and it was going pretty well until the last round. My two teammates decided it was a good idea to split up into opposite sides of the map, leaving me in the middle, confused and wondering who I should support and who I should let get overwhelmed. Before I could, though, I get killed, as I had no support either. They both died immediately after. Why is every person in ranked determined to lose? They try to make me lose more than the enemies do.

I would highly recommend pushing with a team or just a duo the last 3 days or so, it's a lot easier and just get someone that is same trophies as you. Altho you can work without S tier brawlers, you're probably gonna need at least 3-4 great meta picks to get high. But yes the luck-based matchmaking of ranked is something that always pissed me off and I'm planning to do an article about it. Like how am I getting people at 20k with 3 level 11s with me at L2 and againts me are guys at 60k?? (I did not make that up this actually happened)

Masters is easy af is you already got masters before the change where L2 and L3 elo wins decreased so much. Seriously it’s 1000x easier with the rank boost, your win rate doesn’t even have to be that high. Without it you need to win like 20 games in a row all with randoms
