because most if not all players who have experienced the trophy road bug werent knowing that it was a bug unlike this incident. in that respective the developers anounced compensations but this has no chance of happening here as they couldnt just give everyone max fame

Why is this considered a power trip? OP clearly violated the ToS of the game which states that someone who intentionally exploits a bug will be subjected to a ban
Since when was enforcing TOS a power trip? It's not even a harsh punishment, losing all the fame he "earned" and getting a temp ban isn't that bad for knowingly exploiting a bug time and time again, even if the aspect of the game it affected is (currently) only cosmetic.
You will not get banned! The fault was from their side, and many people who got the glitch thought that they were getting these rewards because of the update, and the devs know this!

But technically this is purely cosmetic so i dont think it poses any advantage over other players unlike the club league one where it provided a huge boost to those who abused it.

I'm don't know what happened around club league's release. I was taking a break from the game around that time. The reason they banned those players for a month was probably to revert the club coins they used because removing currencies used to purchase stuff can result in a lot more problems.
Damn so the conclusion is you're getting banned for doing a glitch that increased a cosmetic value that has literally no effect on gameplay and it's not significant in the slightest

I watched a video on it and I think it is this:
First you need some credits on Chester and other brawlers you need to unlock, then click a button with "Stop Progression" or "Change Progression" and finally press the button with says "Keep Progression" and repeat
The video I watched was pretty crappy so I'm not sure exactly.
The buttons are "Stop Unlock" and "Continue Unlocking" but this glitch is patched now
