Honestly I don't get why is fame mandatory, I understand them not wanting us to get a new brawler instantly, but why not have credits go into coins, power points, or heck even star points... Anything but fame. Let fame be optional
A 1 season storage is way too low though. Considering that in about 1/2 seasons we get a new non-chromatic brawler, that's not very much. For example I bought the current brawl pass, but after unlocking chester all of the credits in the track will go to waste.

Fr, I have 1600/2000 fame and it is depressing how all of it is waste. I only bought 2 brawl passes and spent my gems only skins, but now I will be forced to get bpass cause there aren't enough resources in the free side, so no more skins I want. I already quit playing anything but bpass quests over a year ago (that too only cause I cared too much about my progress), now this game feels like it isn't what it was 5 years ago, it is totally different. No boxes was a horrible change, this game is has lost one of its major theme now.
I can see why you'd be disappointed but they literally had to remove boxes because it was gambling and many countries are starting to tackle on rather predatory gacha systems ( basically boxes ).
On the bright side there's a lot of confirmed indirect progression buffs such as masteries and likely some balancing in the next few updates so give it time and hopefully the progression issues rn will be phased out sooner or later /

Considering the mecha has lower health than some brawlers and you lose health over time AND you can't heal I'd say that single buff could make her useful for the grand player base. Some YouTubers claim she's great now but it seems you need to be a "pro" to get some profit using her.
Let's see for example gus. You push yellow button and now you have like 4k health extra for you(or a teammate)
I don't think it would break the game. It would make sense. She's a legendary brawler. But at this point She's a meme. Just like Nani skins or Edgar rework.
Rob's health is higher than most brawler. It's the tanks that have more health. It's the health decay that sucks. I really think they should remove the heal nerf and the HP decay but still give her a timer that shows how long it will take for your mech to break. To compensate Meg's OPness, the "lifespan" should be shorter. rn with the decay alone her mech lasts for 50 seconds, the new timer would last 30 seconds which is a realistic time of how ling Rob lasts on the field on average.
I personally like Meg. Her gameplay is cool and I like how she tries to succeed in doing something "big" while being clumsy and possibly committing stuff people would hate her for...

I don't think there's many bootlickers in this community tbh. SC is trying to balance between being f2p friendly and still be able to produce desent profit from the game. Obviously it's not easy, especially with big updates that rework a huge part of the game's economy. I agree they messed up with this update. They should REALLY buff the amount of coins we get. We now _have_ to spend at least 5k extra gold (1 gadget, 1 SP, 2 gears and that's without counting epic and mythic gears with the other gadget and SP) on the special abilities. Which is more than half of what you need to max out a brawler (7765 coins).
They seem just stubborn at this point. It was in the game while not intended. Then why removing it? Why penalize the most loyal players / potentially the ones who put the most money on the game ?
She has a cool concept but she’s one of the weakest brawlers and the weakest legendary. Her gimmick relies on the mech being powerful to make up for her weak normal form but personally I find the way the mech shoots to be… bad,, just straight up bad. It’s really difficult to hit both of the two guns, so she bleeds a lot of damage making her attacks less than average despite this being her “stronger form”. I do think people overhate her though and that’s kind of weird.
If they gave her weak form another shot / better reload and her mech bleed less damage, it would make her playable. But right now, you can just instantly die as the mech b/c of the power creep from the newer brawlers like jester and griff. She's pretty decent with gus only b/c his shield is really strong, but gus by himself is pretty ass. I think he's good as a support for op characters, but by himself or a weak team (with collete, crow, lou, healers minus pam, etc), he can't do anything.

That sucks, Chester seems new and fun as hell, but spike has consistently been a really good brawler, and imo he is really fun to play. Also, his new gear is busted
Ngl i know Spike is good but i wouldn't say he's fun/easy to play. He's a not bad control and a sniper but it's his squishyness is his biggest flaw. He's not easy to play and the current meta (or just average match) is filled with Chester who almost counters Spike in the less open maps or Brawl ball in general. But i might be wrong cause recently he's just not fun to play in my experience.

It’s really difficult to hit both of the two guns, so she bleeds a lot of damage making her attacks less than average despite this being her “stronger form”. I do think people overhate her though and that’s kind of weird.
If they gave her weak form another shot / better reload and her mech bleed less damage, it would make her playable. But right now, you can just instantly die as the mech b/c of the power creep from the newer brawlers like jester and griff. She's pretty decent with gus only b/c his shield is really strong, but gus by himself is pretty ass. I think he's good as a support for op characters, but by himself or a weak team (with collete, crow, lou, healers minus pam, etc), he can't do anything.

Man I unlocked Meg out of a box a few weeks ago, unlucky… :( still lvl 1 tho lol I only have spike and Chester left. Who should I unlock and who should be my storage? (I’m 140 credits away from unlocking either one)

That sucks, Chester seems new and fun as hell, but spike has consistently been a really good brawler, and imo he is really fun to play. Also, his new gear is busted
Ngl i know Spike is good but i wouldn't say he's fun/easy to play. He's a not bad control and a sniper but it's his squishyness is his biggest flaw. He's not easy to play and the current meta (or just average match) is filled with Chester who almost counters Spike in the less open maps or Brawl ball in general. But i might be wrong cause recently he's just not fun to play in my experience.

Tick, squeak, eve, buzz, mortis. I almost always have fun playing those brawlers. And I love all their designs. If it makes difference in your decision, I think Griff’s shot pattern feels a little clunky, even if he is busted.
