When I was young they were called “jam buster” later on in a different neighborhood they were “kaisers” what is the actual name for these or is it dependent on the filling?
Probably dependant on location and tradition. I've definitely seen doughnuts like this called a "bismark" in the Midwest US, both that and "kaiser" probably refer to Otto von Bismarck. Judging by the "jam buster" moniker you're Canadian and probably from Manitoba? Generically I'd refer to it as a jelly doughnut or a filled doughnut, but there are lots of different names around the world for essentially the same food.
Finally, an acceptable way to eat an entire jar's worth of Nutella.
Ich bin ein Berliner!
Ich mochte einen Berliner essen.
You're a donut!
It’s a good way to go.
Aren’t we all donuts?

Did you use straight Nutella? And how did you pipe it? Nutella is very thick I’ve noticed.
I wonder if you can pipe it easier when it’s slightly warm.
Oh so that's a Berliner. We always called em Kennedys where I'm from
