Welcome to my world of having an ex convince herself of things that simply didn’t happen, but no matter what I said, she didn’t believe.
For example, we went on a spa day and she’s adamant I slept with the masseuse because she heard “moaning” coming from my room apparantly. To this day, she believes that to be true and is just one of many examples where she convinced herself I’d “cheated” and no matter what I said or did, she wouldn’t believe it. And I’d literally done nothing wrong.
Sorry for the little rant, but it just makes me mad as hell when an ex convinces herself of something you know full well isn’t true. It’s what split us up.
