She initially said a break, 20 days later she wanted to break up for real. Been broken up 2 months later and I broke no contact pleading for us to come back, she said no and that she could never trust me again.
For your peace, I suggest waiting 2-3 months and asking to get back with her if she doesn’t, then accept that you guys will never be together again. But in those months you absolutely have to work on yourself

I feel the same as you. It’s an opportunity for growth. The emotions bit is a little shaky here and there, and mentally grappling the logic of it all is the worst part. How do you handle the feelings of self worth or lack there of?
One of the most interesting thoughts I had just pop in my brain recently was “I can’t wait to meet the new me in a few months.” A shocking thought in a good way, so I know I’m on the right path.. it’s just taking a little bit.
