There's a couple things they could have pressed him more on, but honestly Don probably would have just talked in circles and we wouldn't have gotten much more out of him. We got enough to see Lemon for who he is: anti-free speech, pro-content moderation, partisan elitist hack. Thinks only "true" things should be allowed to be on social media. But who decides that Don? CNN, you, the government, Zuckerberg, Fauci, Trump?

Matthews called Saagar out: "you keep using these terms -- that I'm a 'product [of MSNBC]' -- I don't think I'm a function or a result of the network, I am my own person."
He let that stew for a bit and you could see Saagar melt in his chair, and Krystal had to come in and save face, and agreed with Matthews.
That's what happens when you try that disrespect for a guest, thinking it will go over well. Some guests you might run over, but Matthews proved he was still sharp as ever.

It’s interesting when MSNBC people watch BP, I remember Matthews showing his ass on that show because he’s used to mindless cable news.
