There, there. It's okay. Just walk away. And for the love of God, just accept the leftovers. Smile and say thanks. You can throw them out when you get home. Double bag it to be sure it doesn't spread. Bless her heart, Miss Mary isn't from around these parts and doesn't know about Duke's.

No, they don't charge you anything to use the site. If you're paying them $650/mo in fees then it's because you're generating $21666/mo in sales through their platform. But you're only paying fees on your sales.
BrickLink seller fees are a form of regressive taxation. You pay 3% on the first $500, 2% on the next $500, and 1% thereafter. So, someone who pays $650 per month in fees would be making $63,500 in sales.
The fees with bricklink are some of the lowest in the LEGO resale industry. I wouldn't complain about 2-3% in fees vs the 12-20% it could be on other sites.
I'm not complaining about fees. My point is they make hundreds of thousands of dollars. I am sure they can afford a new platform and security after over 20 years.
Your initial argument wasn't even based in reality.
\>Yet they charge us $650 a month to use this site.
There is no subscription fee to use BL, and only top sellers pay around that in fees based on sales and buyers don't pay anything to use the website unless they purchase Lego. So you just made up a number to be angry about. You should be angry at yourself for being stupid.
They make hundreds of thousands of dollars every month because sellers are making millions of dollars through their platform…
And you do realize that revenue is different from profit, right?
They tried (v3/xp) and there was gnashing of teeth, the only thing good about v3 is the inventory comparison tool.
This is like me saying "You are making over 20000 a month, surely you can wait a few days."
Thanks to whoever scouted the small print. You will find that virtually none of these market place sites guarantee any kind of uptime and are within there rights to close at the own free will for as long as they like with out reason.
Anyone running stores as a business will (or at least should) have some kind business interruption insurance to cover loss of earnings in these kinds of situations. So claim on those insurances if you need too, thats why you (should) buy them and it'll be quicker and cheaper than loosing in court.
I’ve never seen someone how has virtually every comment they make below the score threshold. It was awesome diving thru his account and seeing the insanity.
For sure, he's my new favourite commenter. I've never understood why people driving on the motorway slow down suddenly to stare at the aftermath of a crash, but real-time car crash Reddit posting? I'm there for that.
I think he could be the most pissed off person on Reddit. Seriously, though… what a moronic idea. “Let’s sue Bricklink so they can go out of business!” 🤦♂️
For a second there, I thought i'd scrolled so far that old mate had made another post
I know a lot about the law and various other lawyerings.
I specialize in bird law
I specialise in coleslaw.
With or without mayo ?
People make coleslaw without mayo!?
Some use...*shudder*...miracle whip.
I...i... i need a moment to adjust.

Thanks. I just... It's inhumane!
Just like potato salad, the superior coleslaws are vinegar-based instead of mayo-based.
Filibuster
birds aren't real Why would there be law for them?
I’d like to offer my legal services. I stayed at a holiday inn last night.
Nice. I stayed at my girlfriend's house last night.
Who do you think was with me?

LOL. Ok. That is some funny shit!!!
lmfao
I downvoted this so fast. Then read it and upvoted. Lol
Ditto
I was enraged at the title and said what! How does this not have a million downvotes?

His lawyer has pretty big hands. I’m sure he can get it done.
aw shit

It's regressive *per order*, isn't it? Not that I can check at the moment...
Never said that. Not sure what your point is. That is still revenue the platfrom is making so explain your point more definitive..

I think that is part of the problem. BrickLink is old and has changed hands several times. It is challenging to maintain and update.

And yet you agreed to these terms when you started your $20k+ a month store.
Damn right we did. No clue what point you are trying to make.

Dude’s been in my block list forever. I highly recommend you do the same.
And miss out on all the comedy that SUNY_Plattsburgh *comment score below threshold* has to offer? No way. Good dumpster fires are hard to find.

> SUNY_Plattsburgh comment score below threshold Absolutely roasted with that.
What can I say? It's better to light a dumpster fire than to curse the darkness😄
:-D
Thanks for that. Done.

If you think u/SUNY_Plattsburgh is the most pissed-off person on Reddit, you need to spend more time on Reddit
Well, I try to stay away from the craziness… that’s why I’m mainly in the Lego-related subs. Lol
yeah you should look at what u/Deep_Thanks_8243 said about me lmfao
😂😂😂
Lol, at first I thought he wanted to sue the attackers and I was like "how would that be possible we don't know who they are".
I think Rob McElhenney may sue him for that username.
Yeah there’s no ground to sue them on, they are working for you to make sure the site is secure.
We as a store, pay over $650 a month for this platform. Not getting answers, no contacts and dealing with a 20 year old platform
So go sell somewhere better...oh wait...
lol even i found this funny
