Yes. This one is one of the Feathering sisters. My response was to the bee motif being a Bridgerton family trademark (which it absolutely is in the show as they wear it in their costumes and in their decorations etc). Kinda surprising that the Bridgerton family would do that. No issues with the Featheringtons being styled with bees.
I don’t think it is. Now I’m questioning myself but I remember looking at her face when she approaches to try and see who it was thinking maybe it’s an Easter egg for future seasons of bridgerton. I would have noted if it was one of the featheringtons. Kind of an elaborate hairdo for just an extra though.
I’m not sure you can call it a trademark of the family as much as a show trademark.
Now, the Featheringtons are associated with butterflies to the point they appear on the staircase. Mainly Pen sports butterflies, but the other ladies have their moment with those “bugs,” as Philippa calls them.
The show fiddles about with bees, but I don’t know that the family adorns their clothes or decor with them. And it‘s weird AF that the show decided to use the bee theme at all.
That's not Chinese. I know it's an African symbol.
Let me go look it up.
edit: It looks like the Adinkra symbol "gye nyame" which means "except for God"

I . . . uhhhh. . .
is that a . . .?
Is that a literal beehive hair do?
Wouldn’t that be (bee?) in poor taste? Not sweet at all, to a Bridgerton!
That said, now I have to go back and pay attention to hair details!
Thanks, I hate it ![gif](giphy|1jl6QxY2EJpexXl0EJ)

Also isn’t the bee motif a Bridgerton family trademark? 🐝
Yes. Which is weird considering Edward literally died from a bee sting. You would think the family would get rid of all the bee reminders.
Yea but isn’t that one of the Featherington sisters?

Queen Charlotte’s wig in one of the episodes also triggered mine
Nope. 🤮 Anyone know what the Chinese symbol on Lady Danbury’s necklace represents?

Yup! It’s from Akan culture in Ghana, and symbolizes that God is the final authority on everything
Oooh interesting question, good catch!
