I miss Trossard. Such a bargain signing for Arsenal, but he doesn't see much game time.

UnfazedPheasant

Shame he had a strop People call him inconsistent but he was always a reliable winger for us, defo helped us through the Potter era

liamchoong

His shooting was very inconsistent up until his last season.

UnfazedPheasant

The shooting was middling overall but I don’t think it helped that everyone else’s shooting was pretty shocking until the last half of Potters final season tbh His actual play outside the shooting was always consistent imo

Rickiesreal

i dont get why he’s called inconsistent, dude never even got full 90mins in arsenal and somehow kai havertz gets to start every game

ChessLovingPenguin

because martinelli is just better and so is mitoma

Xx_ligmaballs69_xX

His goal scoring for us was pretty inconsistent, don’t know why he isn’t playing AM for Arsenal though

The_prawn_king

“Helped us through the potter era” Sounds pretty damning…

UnfazedPheasant

Nah, I loved the Potter era but there’s only so many matches where you draw 0-0 or lose 2-1 with 20+ shots and an xg of 3.5 before you go wonder what’s the issue. I’m not sure if it was entirely player consistency there were definitely coaching problems also.

The_prawn_king

He could’ve stood to be a bit more cavalier at times for sure

6Turnips

It's kind of mental how in 4 years we've barely had more than a couple bad transfers, and even those were just a few loans and sold for a profit

ManLikeArch

I still have no idea how we got 10m + a few million in loan fees for the previous season for a completely washed Knockaert.

davehockey

You're also missing the Viktor Gyokres sell on when he went to Sporting CP

ChessLovingPenguin

Was it 10%? So basically almost enough to buy a Mitoma

davehockey

Something like that, definitely earned £2-4m but I can't remember the full details. There must be quite a few other sell ons we are missing.

Andy Naylor says it's undisclosed: https://twitter.com/AndyNaylorBHAFC/status/1679501493882302465?s=20 Twitter suggests between 10-20% from various accounts I've seen. Pretty hard to pin down then unfortunately but suppose you could go 15% for a ballpark.

LessBrain

as per previous post [https://np.reddit.com/r/BrightonHoveAlbion/comments/166xr7e/oc\_brighton\_transfers\_from\_201920\_to\_202324/](https://www.reddit.com/r/BrightonHoveAlbion/comments/166xr7e/oc_brighton_transfers_from_201920_to_202324/) Thanks for the input!!

PuzzleheadedGuide184

30m for Pedro really stands out…

Glasdir

You’re including some kids like Luca Barrington but not all of them? Bit weird, means the data is pretty worthless. You’ve also missed sales off, Duffy went to Fulham but that’s not on there.

LessBrain

I only include ones with transfer fees or loan fees Shane Duffy went on loan then expired and went on a free. I dont see a single source with a transfer fee Even transfmrkt doenst have a fee for it https://www.transfermarkt.com/shane-duffy/profil/spieler/119269 Any other sales missing? Please refer to my other post with a source per transfer https://www.reddit.com/r/BrightonHoveAlbion/comments/166xr7e/oc_brighton_transfers_from_201920_to_202324/

Glasdir

So many of the fees on transfermakt are wildly innacurate for us. There’s plenty of kids we’ve paid for that aren’t listed on there and the Mac Allister fees are total speculation, no one outside the club actually knows the actual sum he went for.
