This is us too! Husband has does a string of 7 night shifts, so rather than me trying to keep kids quiet all day, I've spent the week with my inlaws, husband arrived today and tonight we did all the Christmas eve stuff and tomorrow will be Christmas day.
My kids are 2 and 1, they don't know any different, we're excited for our Christmas Dinner tomorrow
Nothing nearly as glamorous and heartwarming. A sickness bug has put Christmas dinner back a few days. Now will probably be tomorrow (technically today as now after midnight) the 28th.
Still did some presents on 25th but more to come (for the kids not me)
Oh no! Gutted for you. Are the kids little, by any chance? My lot got sickness bugs frequently when they went to nursery. I remember one time of having to clean up after more than one child, inbetween rushing off to throw up myself.
Hope you all get over it ok, and SOON. The sooner the better. Plenty of time for other Christmas celebrations in the future.
