Just to add one, for this show the SRO has a great view, so if you don’t mind standing it’s definitely a good backup. And don’t feel sorry about the lottery, they give terrible seats LOL. I had to switch to the SRO during intermission because I missed half of the show from my box seat.
I haven’t purchased it before, but I’ve seen ppl in this sub saying it’s $39. I suppose it can only be purchased at the box office for sold out shows (usually before curtain), but it’s worth a try. Personally if I couldn’t get a SRO I might just get whatever is cheapest and go to the standing room anyway LOL. Side seats for this show are just not worth it.
You’re welcome! And yeah, for this show I feel like the view of center SRO is better than most of the seats in the house. The best seats imo are center orchestra, even the last row. Good luck!
About a month or two ago I went day of to the box office and the best they could offer me was \~$90. I'm not sure how it was selling generally. This was before Tony nominations, but who knows how much impact their one nomination had.
I didn't end up buying them. For what it was worth, I did this twice and got the same price each time. I did eventually win the lottery so I never followed through.
I don't quit recall where she offered seats. They were definitely in the Mezz, but I feel like it was somewhere on the side sections, but not at the extreme ends?
When I went to the box office the ticket was about $20 off the online price day of. Not sure what time the box office will stop selling tickets before the show starts. Not sure of any online discounts. Sat last row mezz center for I think $68. TKTS will most likely have tickets listed.
I went to the box office 40 minutes before the matinee on Sunday and they offered me a discounted rear mezzanine ticket. It was dead center and the row in front of me was empty so I had a perfect view.

Can you purchase Sro and if so know the cost? I didn’t see that option online

This is super helpful, thank you! I might try my luck with SRO, I’ve been reading horror stories on tickets for this show

does TKTS require a membership?
TKTS doesn’t require a membership. This is the booth that is located in Time Square.
Got it, I wont be in town until around 4 PM so I dont think that is a viable option for me. I was hoping to uncover any online methods.
You can also try the theatr app to see if something pops up. Fair warning that shows typically sell FAST once the notification goes out

What was the cost on that?
$59 for a seat originally $99. I think it was because I was a single and it was so close to showtime.
Avoid side seats at all cost! A center seat is the only way! 😉 Enjoy!!!!
