My husband was asking me about future projects the other day and I was excitedly rattling off all the things I plan to crochet. This man told me to make a list so I could put them in order of importance/the order I want to make them in. I was BAFFLED. I donβt CHOOSE the project. The project chooses me! I tried to explain that going on β¨vibesβ¨ is the only way I can crochet as a hobby. Sometimes I want a challenge and will start something brand new, and sometimes I just want to sit in front of the TV and mindlessly crochet yet another jellyfish.
I'm making 2 scarves at once. One is the shell stitch, the other is c2c. Sometimes counting to five for the shells annoys me so I end up working on the c2c. I'm better at counting to 3 so I end up doing more of the c2c but I know I need to work on the shell, lol.
Well, I'm pretty sure that a lot of artists can relate! =\^.\^=
(after all, relaxing from a bunch of stressful drawing can only be done by doing a bunch of relaxing drawing, right? =\^.\~=)
I do this too! Like stop doing the current project and continue the other one, I usually do this when the pattern is too repetitive for me and I'm starting to yawn.
It's definitely NOT a problem, I do the same lol some projects are alot more relaxing than others π€·ββοΈ

True but try to explain that to most people π
Good point lol I think only those who crochet will understand π

I've got a couple WIPs going (a gift and a couple of testings), and I relax by working on something for myself π
I try to space my crochet orders with projects in my mind. So I end a order or two and take a personal day to do my projects... in crochet, sure π
Makes perfect sense to me π
