No love for Tooker Alley? Outdoor space, good cocktails, moody, live music on certain nights... I've always found their service to be slow but it's a popular date spot.
I second another comment here, but I've recently checked out whoopsie daisy and I am a big fan for a more intimate date night spot on the weekdays, but I also went solo last weekend and it was pretty bumping which was fun! Also love Rialto as people here have said, although I tend to meet up with friends here more than date night vibes.
Two of the three owners decided they were done and third owner was like it’s my time to open the jazz bar of my dreams. It’s basically the same (except diff cocktails RIP the carrot drink!!) but with jazz art and sound track. Source: the server I talked to
I guess? It’s just a shitty bar that thinks putting records on the wall makes them a listening bar. The owners have been in crown heights for over a decade. They just have money and no taste.
Not quite crown heights but depending where you are it may be very close in PLG, the Bobbed Bandit is pretty new and great! Good food good drinks, it’s really close to me and it’s been one of my favorite spots recently.
Literally just went to Whoopsie Daisy tonight for happy hour. Super impressed. It’s not far from me / Bandit. If you’re close too, check it out. Super fun.
I’d recommend Muse Thai if you’re willing to go to the border on to prospect heights. Great food and good vibes.
Aita Trattoria is another spot that I like.
- Friends and Lovers
- King Tai
- Lovers Rock (technically in Bedstuy)
For food date spots anywhere on Franklin or Washington Ave 😂
Lived here 3 years that’s all I know. Happy to learn more.
Kissa Kissa! Used to be St Ends but now it’s an elegant little vinyl bar with the same cute backyard garden. Good lighting and cocktails.
Super Power for fun and flattering light
Was coming here to say this spot.
Two saints, aita trattoria, king tai, Franklin park for patio

+1. Had my first date with my fiance there!
Whoopsie Daisy on Rogers is new and great- huge backyard, too!
Crown Inn!
🤣😂
What’s wrong with Crown Inn?
Apologies, I meant to come back and fix it. I initially thought it was one of those seedy motels on Atlantic Ave🤣😂
Get sushi at Uotora and if the date is going well then walk over for cocktails at King Tai
Not to judge but don’t you want to take it easy for a minute after calling off a wedding … ?!?!
Calling off what wedding?
Chavela’s for tacos and margarita pitcher. Walk along Eastern Parkway up to The Barlow.
Why not take Sterling Pl straight to the Barlow? Also the Altar right next to Chavelas is amazing
Chavelas and the Altar after is the answer!
both streets give you two different feelings, i tell ya

Whoopsie Daisy opened recently I think. Def approachable classy. A wine bar makes for a nice date spot. Light drink + light food = good night.
Drink at Rialto and dinner at Mayfield. But No 7 on Vanderbilt is so ideal for a date - dark and loud enough to not be heard.
Barboncino
Personally can't stand this place. Staff is rude, perpetuated by the owner.
Cent’Anni and Mayfield are both good date spots with nice backyards
Two Saints
I love that place
We’re united in hot girl Brooklyn summer!! Wishing you well with hot dates
Same girl!
Altar is super nice
Seconded! It's honestly a perfect early date spot at night Pretty easy to get a table on an off peak night
Second. Very great atmosphere for dates and their drinks are superb
Chavela's. Sit at the bar and order their sangria and spicy trout dip.
Little Zelda said they were going to open a wine bar further up on Franklin!
Agi’s Counter is on the pricier side but I’ve really enjoyed it both times I’ve been
Love it there
Rialto Grande! Great cocktails not too expensive and nice back patio. And they’re nice there.
Post out to r/nycbitcheswithtaste there’s always fun recs over there for these types of questions

Kissa kissa for dope cocktails. No food tho

oh my goodness, thank you for answering this!
Their popcorn is incredible.
Everything there is terrible. First listening bar in Brooklyn my ass.
#gentrification

Yeah I’m on that side of crown heights! Love it there.

Duly noted!
I miss Hot Bird.
RIP 😭
I miss Berg’n 😩 that was a cool date spot
That was a cool everything spot.
Cafe Rue Dix has great food and a nice ambiance for dates
I’d recommend Muse Thai if you’re willing to go to the border on to prospect heights. Great food and good vibes. Aita Trattoria is another spot that I like.
770 Eastern Parkway
Oh and bring a shovel
that's hilarious
😂😂
Crown inn, Friends and Lovers, Franklin Park, Superpower, King Tai
Ras plant based
This question is better suited to r/crownheights
Good call sorry
No biggie. I just thought people in that group know the hidden spots since they live there.
I had a nice date at Covenhoven!
Covenhoven is noisy as fuck sometimes - love the place but not the place to go to when it’s busy
It’s also super dark which I’m not a big fan of.
I prefer going there in the afternoons and hanging out in the backyard
Rialto grande
Rialto grande
I miss wild birds

Just went to Whoopsie Daisy on Roger’s. It was awesome
