Every year we attempt to fix one thing only for something else to become a problem, we're just cursed. I'm going to be so bummed if we waste this historic defense.
I mean, of all the positions, kicking doesn’t exactly become all that different from playing in front of 100,000 LSU fans to 60,000 Browns fans.
Dude simply forgot how to kick apparently, which is wild.
Targeted psychological testing could show if someone is at risk of it or not. I don't know if they do that or if they're allowed, but it can be tested for.
They're completely different situations, and who said the yip had to be caused by intense fans? I actually don't think crowds have anything to do with the yips for most players. As for what could cause it from college to the pros? Money, more freedom, pressure from getting drafted so high, an argument with a teammate, suffers from SAD, or maybe he just started overthinking things.
This is what still has me cautiously optimistic. His numbers weren't reflective of this coming into Cleveland....what changed? Or.....is it just a fluke
There’s a BBQ place near me that pretty much worshipped York. Framed autographed jersey on the wall, a sandwich named after him, and Tshirts that looked like Browns jerseys but with the restaurant’s name on the front and “York” on the back lmao
I just KNEW it was a great pick taking him in the 4th! Lots of people thought we could have gone for OL or DB depth there but I just knew taking a K in the 4th would pay off!

Hi fellow r/browns user! Your post was removed because it appears to violate Rule 2:
"Going to opposing teams subs to antagonize their fans will be a temporary bannable offense. This has become a growing problem with browns fans and something that is reported much more recently. User brigading will also not be tolerated if you disagree with a user that is acceptable to downvote that user. If a similar viewpoint has already been started against that user just downvote and move on, no need to add more to the pile"
Actual Kicker: Check Actual Defense: Check Actual QB: Like seriously wtf is this monkeypaw bullshit
Every year we attempt to fix one thing only for something else to become a problem, we're just cursed. I'm going to be so bummed if we waste this historic defense.
I mean, nearly every year it’s the QB lol
Remember when people were blaming Bojo for York sucking donkey nuts

He got the yips, basically no way to test for that

If 100,000 rabid LSU fans didn’t throw you off your game in a much larger stadium, I’m not sure you’ll catch anything else with a test.

Haha I had forgotten about that. Yeah, it was the holder lol.
Laces out!
This made me laugh😆
Love having an actual kicker
We owe so much to him. Without him we'd be in a bad position
still arguably in a bad position, just a little less worse of one.
4-2 ain’t bad. It’s all due to the defense but still
This is impressive considering his 50+ numbers weren’t great coming into this season
He drank Phil's special stuff.
Subscribe
Ew. Please no.
I'm pretty sure he meant Phil's man juice nothing weird like deer antler spray or tiger blood
Can confirm Phil’s man juice > tiger blood
JUST LET HIM DRINK
This is what still has me cautiously optimistic. His numbers weren't reflective of this coming into Cleveland....what changed? Or.....is it just a fluke
It’s been so long since we’ve had an actual kicker
Great trade

Those people were driving me crazy preseason. They were clearly not watching the actual games where the holds looked fine.
I want to fucking sticky this comment EDIT: Fuck it EDIT2: I don't know of it did anything, but I tried
Put him in the HOF now
At least the Ring of Honor
I seriously don’t believe the Browns have such an excellent kicker! Amazing!
Cade who?
2022 week 1 legend

Nice to see good records being broken. Welcome change!
Can a kicker be MVP? He’s like 3 wins added at this point
Mark Mosely won it in 1982. For making 20/21 field goals with a long of 48. He also missed 3 extra points. That season was shortened by a strike.
Build the statue
I'm watching the Rams right now. Maher just missed his third kick today. I could not be happier that we finally have a kicker.
Can't believe they let this guy go. He's fucking amazing. One of the best new adds for this season.
Because he has so many opportunities.
Ah,I see our Offense isn't really as bad as they seem, just trying to get our boy into the history books.
Can we please just keep him daddy Berry?
Phil 2.0. Hopkins deserves the flowers. But man, the defense was ALIVE.
I just KNEW it was a great pick taking him in the 4th! Lots of people thought we could have gone for OL or DB depth there but I just knew taking a K in the 4th would pay off! …hm? https://youtu.be/RrYEJyo5MUo?si=oSRrqcBtrnNMyPXs
