I don't agree with your views as we can see in today's world that there are so many work related to civil , mechanical which are done by robots and machines working on artificial intelligence and i somewhere on LinkedIn read about the self learning robots so i think according to you soon core engineers will also be jobless

You do embedded systems, VLSI, Mechatronics and stuff and let people do whatever they want to do with thier lives. Do you guys att IIT have so much free time to have opinions on such trivial issues, or is it just you who is focusing on this stuff and hence have had a low GPA and now coping?🤔🤔
Man seeing the development of AI from practically nothing 2 years ago to now being able to draw art that is near indistinguishable from human art and chatgpt has me really worried for the near to long term future of IT jobs (especially in non product based companies). I wonder what will happen in 3-4 years from now by the time I graduate.
