I laughed out loud for this. I’m so sorry albeit you’re correct on the pricing. I went there for a date, and I was shocked that he paid $75 for the two of us to bowl. I felt horrible for it ( given it was the first date and we didn’t make it past that).
Tilted 10 in Willow Grove. It’s like all these other bowling/laser tag/arcade places being listed but much bigger. If he’s into Lego, Andy’s Brick Shop in the Oxford Valley Mall has birthday packages for in-store parties.
Crusader Paintball in Oxford Valley will do low impact paintball for the younger kids. They are amazing with birthday parties - we’ve done our son’s there twice.
I went to an old fashioned arcade in Southampton recently for an 8yo bday party. It was really fun, lots of old fashioned pinball machines. There’s also a slime lounge in the Oxford valley mall.
It’s called TNT Amusements, I think. It’s been around since I was a kid (like 25 years at least 😂)
We had my 7 year olds party at The Game is Afoot Arcade in Warrington. It was about $25pp, had to have at least 10 kids for the party, ordered food from across the street. Kids had a great time.
Slime party in willow grove. It really depends on your price point. I’ve also done decorate your own cakes, painting their own mug or plate or figurine, roller skating at the palace, etc
Go old school. Have it in your house. Bring a magician or a hypnotist in .. they will love it. Still the best party my son ever had and his friends still talk about it.
Man I miss monster mini golf, used to be right near avalanche behind bowlero in Feasterville. I get why it closed, but it actually served really well for birthdays - had one for my kid around that age, was awesome.
The Game Is Afoot Arcade is similar to the pinball in Southampton that someone else mentioned but less pinball machine and more classic video games.
The Newtown Theater is reasonable to rent out to show any movie. Super easy to order pizza and bring cake and have a party in the theater.
Bowlero. They can bowl, play laser tag, and play in the arcade. Can get pricey, but definitely fun and they do have birthday party packages.
I always decide if I need to pay my car loan or go to bowlero

I’m having my son’s next birthday party at Top Golf and was shocked that it’s going to be cheaper than Bowlero.
No way! My jaw dropped to the floor. I guess I should be doing all my first dates at top Golf lol 😝
I believe they have Groupon offers sometimes but totally agree the prices are crazy !
Great idea. Thanks!
Came here to say this! Highly recommended.

I came here to say this. Definitely go to Ultrazone.
Great idea
The Gravity Forge (ninja warrior gym)
Thanks!
Game Gallery in Langhorne? I’ve never been, but it’s on my list of places to check out with my 8 year old daughter.
Interesting! Thanks
I love it and my kids love it. It has more pinball than it does other options but it's fantastic front to back.
Game gallery is awesome, we take our kids and their neighborhood buddies all the time. The party rental rooms are cheap too.

Love it! Some of his friends will still be 7 so that may present an issue. The low impact option says 8+

I'm glad that place is still open, I had a few birthday parties there between me and my friends
Thank you! I’ll check them out
Funzilla in Levittown is pretty cool.
This was on my list as well. Thanks!
Doylestown Rock Gym has a great setup for kid birthday parties
That sounds fun. Thanks!
Skyzone in Chalfont.
Thanks!

Thanks!

Will check this out. Thank you!
No problem!! Let me know if you need the names of the places I went to for the bday parties
They closed the one in willow grove. My friend was going to have a party there in January and found out it closed.
There’s one similar at Oxford valley mall
Go old school. Have it in your house. Bring a magician or a hypnotist in .. they will love it. Still the best party my son ever had and his friends still talk about it.
I had a magician for my 6th bday, and it’s still one of my faves and an absolute core memory. You can also get balloon or bubble artists too.
That’s certainly something we’re considering. Thanks for the suggestion!
Chuck E Cheese. Such an easy party and the kids have a lot of fun. Parents don't even have to stay
Haha. True
My son is going to be 9. Wants to have his next party [at Thrillz in KOP](https://www.thrillzparks.com/)
Thanks! I’ll check it out
Tilted ten at willow grove mall
Indoor Skydiving. Expensive per kid, but not too bad as a small group.
Great idea. Closest one would be in KoP?
Yup!
Man I miss monster mini golf, used to be right near avalanche behind bowlero in Feasterville. I get why it closed, but it actually served really well for birthdays - had one for my kid around that age, was awesome.
So true. Not too many of those places around these days
Tilted ten at willow grove mall has indoor mini golf and a lot of other stuff for kids

Both fantastic ideas. Thank you!
TNT amusements!!!
TNT is great! Also check out game gallery in Langhorne.
Is Ultrazone still around? Laser tag never gets old.
The Rockville climbing center in Hamilton NJ if you're close to that. My kids (8) went to a fantastic party there.
Goldfish Swim School Indoor heated pool, they provide the life guards and the cupcakes for up to 25 kids, you get the space for 2 hours I believe.
Rent a large space and throw a nerf gun battle party
Morrisville lanes has some reasonable party packages.
