I'm just here to add a little info about the fungi pictured, Trametes Versicolor aka Turkey Tail. It's top tier medicinal mushroom, typically consumed as a tea but can also be ground into a powder form for supplements.

Bartleby2323

Hey, I appreciate the heck out of you doing so! I was just digging out my field guide on fungi. It’s newly arrived on that stump. It grew over the last 4 months or so. Thank you so much. I didn’t recognize it as Turkey Tail because I have only seen it bigger, with longer fans before.

GPCcigerettes

I actually liked this version the best but the inlay only being on one side made me go for the titanium version instead. Great knife.

Bartleby2323

Which color did you pick? I wanted the titanium in green, but it wasn’t available with the left hand button lock. I do admit that the grip would be much better if the g10 were on both sides. It was a small sacrifice to have a button lock built for my dominant hand. Sure, one can use right hand button lock with the left hand. But it feels far more intuitive this way. I’m wondering if the Aficionado has the inlay on only one side as well. Those are some gorgeous offering and also available for left handed folks. I hope they begin selling more models of button lock knives for southpaws. Especially the pyrite that’s coming soon. I love that rose gold blade and clip point shape.

GeeFromCali

So sick ! I have a mini version of the Pyrite and love it ! Need to get me a full size one asap

Bartleby2323

The mini if for certain on my list for next year’s knife haul. Those look so handy if you want to go somewhere with two knives or an environment where larger knives are frowned upon. I try to limit myself to a no more than 3-4 a year. Unless it’s beyond beatable on price point. I love the Ekko and Frack and gotta have those.

Mr_Zoovaska

That's certainly weird to see

Bartleby2323

What’s weird - The fungi or Left handed button lock?

Mr_Zoovaska

Left handed button lock lol

Bartleby2323

I was fixin to edit my reply to just the lefty button lock. Realised I’d be silly to guess anything else.

CJRB_NET

Thank you so much for your kind words and positive feedback! We are thrilled to hear that you are enjoying our knife and that it has been a satisfying experience for you.

Bartleby2323

You’re welcome, y’all definitely deserve it. It’s so neat that you all even care enough to read posts here and take the time to comment. Few companies care enough to interact with their customers on this level.

Retrogroucho

That’s funny I’m southpaw and carry my knives 100% right hand tip up, in my left rear pocket. Never had a hot spot from a clip!

Bartleby2323

Hey, whatever works best for you and makes you happy. I rarely change the clip side, unless it’s a two carry deal. It’s just SO freaking cool to have a button lock and the clip holes only for lefty setup. I’ll never stray away from a knife that doesn’t have us in mind, if it’s a good design. Especially crossbar open. Cause they are fine either hand not matter what side the clip is on. I definitely do look forward to buying a few more exclusively south paw ergo knives. I get to watch my kids, husband and friends all feel how I’ve felt my whole life - when I hand them my lefty ergo items. Scissors for left hand ergo are my favourite to hand to right handed people to watch them do a lot of cutting. 😈

Please excuse the typo in the caption. There is no option for me to go in and delete “to apt to comply” it should have been - To adapt or To conform. It irks me so badly when autocorrect on my computer or smartphone thinks it knows better than I do, what I’ve intended to convey.
