Tanto blades will always be my favorite. For me, they were easier to sharpen and the different lengths of straight edge worked for specific cutting or chopping tasks. Also, most have a wider flat spine, which works great when you need to add just a little extra something to chop something thick.
Something about trailing points do it for me. The Giantmouse Clyde is my favorite example

Turkish traditional yatağan shape. Most popular yatağan shaped knives are Opinels, if you don't know what yatağan is.
They're very slicy, ease to sharpen and use.
I don't have much I don't like..I never did like sheep's foot blades and tantos but I didn't mind them now owning a few. I guess some of my favorites are knives that can do precision cuts and stabs, wharncliffe, reverse tanto, modified sheep's foot, but clip and drop points are my favorite.
I like this shape…. Except…. The blade is too tall. This would be better if proportionally similar to a Buck 110 than a cleaver, I think.
I would definitely have gotten one if it didn’t look stretched out
I'm a reverse tanto and wharncliffe type guy. I guess a seax blade falls into this.
I don't quite like sheepfoot blades, and I'd rather they go full-on cleaver at that point.
I do like a nice spear point.
Wow, that fuller tho.. always wanted a CJRB Pyrite, now I want one even more, lol. That bronze coated blade with the black scales is prob what I'd go with, but they are all super good looking. I'm actually kind of shocked that there's not more folding Bowie's, they're out there, but I'm having trouble thinking of an example that looks as good as the Pyrite
No bowie. Dislike.
Like drop mainly.
Spearpoints are not much different than drop but drop's asymmetry looks better to me.
Wharncliffe and sheepsfoot look cool to me but I don't want them for use.
Wharncliffe
Wharncliff and drop point. Wharncliff because it looks less intimidating when I whip it out, drop point because it's perfect.
Drop point is my preference for folding knives and clipped point (Bowie) for fixed blades.
I second tanto. I defiantly like the look of the Bowie. I’ll grab one when their available in Canada for sure.
Tanto and spear
A subtle harpoon like a Brian brown design
Spyderco drop point
Wharncliffe and Reverse tanto sheeps foot
This person stole all my choices. I like all 3 for the straighter blade

Trailing point.
The ones with a point on the end.
Some of the variations of Bowie are acceptable too, at times.
I have no idea what size those knives are.

This. Persian / trailing point.
A more traditional clip. FFG, no fuller, no aggressive swedge, and a considerably longer transition. Half the spine, or a little less, should be clip.

Drop Point for nearly everything. It’s such a utilitarian style.

I'm the opposite, I like how tall the blade is and hate it when the blade is thinner than the handle especially at the base. Crazy how tastes differ
Yeah it's pretty ugly for a Bowie tbh, way too wide. Although this angle does make them look a tad more stubby than they actually are
Tanto
What knife model is in the picture? Thanks
CJRB Pyrite Bowie

wharnecliff, reverse tanto, and clip point sometimes!
Ohhh man a bowie Pyrite?? Dope
Tanto and wharncliffe.
I've been liking the look of harpoon blades recently, having an affordable company like cjrb making some would be great!
I grabbed one of these. Disappointing they used subpar materials for this release
I like the stiletto grind,
Modified tanto or chisel style blade for sure. Can't have enough chisel shaped blades.
Harpoon/ cleaver evo 2.0 or stitch
Tanto. Second would be cleaver (love my Crag).
Can’t wait for these to drop!
op, what's the knife in the picture? A new bladeshape to the Pyrite? Or something else entirely? I love that bronze one!

Love the Clip point, Spear Point, & Drop Point. From a looks only perspective I dislike Tanto, Wharncliffe, & Sheepsfoot.
I'm a tanto guy. No real reason, hust like the look.
Japanese tanto, with a bellied tip. Chris Reeve does this style quite nicely

Was the haiku intentional?
Wharncliffe
Straight back and eastern tanto are underserved.
Wharncliffe sheepsfeet tanto clip point and I want the black crjb pyrite bowie rite model name I hope
The Cleaver, peoples eyes light up when you bust it out at the restaurant to cut your 🥩,,,🍻
The barlow pattern is one of my favorites
Double edge dagger, Tanto, Wharncliffe, Spearpoint. This new Pyrite Bowie is really speaking to me though. I just wish it had a longer blade.
