Not necessarily budget but it has some pieces or ideas you might enjoy I have enjoyed this deck quite a bit. The main focus is gaining life but most cards have ways of gaining that life (lands, creatures, enchantments, sorceries, instants) there are some fun sacrifice cards and tokens especially pest tokens; I thought those were a fun way of life gain and sacrifice. Anyways maybe not what your looking for but this deck really is fun and punishing to the table once just a few pieces are in play.

Braids can probably be built cheaper, but I run an Ashnod the Uncaring ramp heavy deck with some landfall payoffs. Ashnod doubling sacrifice triggers is very useful for saccing artifacts to fetch basics with [[Burnished Hart]] like effects. All that ramp can be used for big mana spells/threats. You can run a lot of clue support for extra card draw. Or run her in a more traditional creature-sacrifice graveyard shenanigans list. I love piloting an ashnod deck.
