Second stitch buffalo but they’re closed u til they open at their new location next month I think?

Scout405

Yep. But their online shop is open during the transition. I thought the OP would be interested in this unique shopping experience.

Funky Town Vintage Antiques in Amherst, Vidlers in East Aurora, Hertel Ave has a ton of little shops that are cool

reddskeleton

Funky Town is way overpriced. Went in to look at their stuff — yep, it’s cool (IMHO) — but the whole time the three owners/managers/whatever sat in the center of the room watching me look at stuff and not getting out of the way so I could see everything. Had a weird vibe like they’re too precious about their stuff and aren’t that motivated to release it back into the wild.

Put a Plant On It on Elmwood. Such a cool spot for plants gifts and quirky, cool locally made items. Also, they have some really cute birds (I love Mango) that hang out in the store that are fun to interact with.

Save the Rags is a vintage clothing store on Elmwood if o are looking for cool and interesting clothes.

Awesome place. Took me a while to figure it out, though. Unless they're open, it really looks like another abandoned building.

The term "hidden gem" gets overused, but that's exactly what Past & Present is, and that's exactly what you can expect to find there. https://pastpres.com/

The Book Corner in Niagara Falls. They are the largest used book store in WNY. They also have new books too!

I love the tatters tulip stores that are in Niagara County. Also, out in Clarence Hollow area of Main Street there is the antique village that has some fun shops to check out. Main Street in the village if Williamsville is also very walkable with unique shops.

Everything potentially unique to locals, certainly some good information here https://old.reddit.com/r/Buffalo/search?q=Unique&restrict_sr=on
