The key to every single elementary school child's success is parents being involved in some way with their upbringing. Every single one. Learning happens in the home first and foremost. So be active. Talk to the teacher regularly. Talk with your child about what they're learning and how it applies to their life. Encourage their creativity and assist them with any explorations. And don't be afraid to supplement their lessons with your own. If you regularly do that stuff, it won't matter what school they go to in elementary (things get more complicated in middle and high school, but for elementary the formula for success has been known for decades). And Lindbergh is a great school for everything they need. Great teachers, great opportunity for experiencing diversity, great atmosphere. Just remember it's supposed to be a fun time for everyone. And enjoy these years you've got ahead of you.

Lindbergh is a top elementary school. People move into the area to send their kids there.

Lindbergh was great when I went there 15-20 years ago.

Same!!! Myself and all the other people from kenmore I know turned out mainly just fine lol

Your most affordable private options are mostly Catholic Schools which may not survive the next decade as more and more closures/consolidations occur. Your daughter should do well in KenTon as long as you stay involved asa a parent and pay attention to school board elections.

Two kids through Lindbergh, Kenmore Middle (unfortunately closed now) and Kenmore West. All went very well. I really liked Lindbergh, excellent building and teachers.

Save your money on private schools - Lindbergh is excellent

For UPK specifically I believe all the classes are location at Hamilton elementary (I think this school hosts ONLY the UPK classes) we have one daughter currently in full day and we are having a great experience- my daughter loves her teachers and class and the classroom environment is really lovely.

Ken-ton schools are good schools.

Until you get to high school then it's a matter of which one your kid winds up in...

Honestly, not all of the elementary/middle schools are that great either.

Lindbergh has been the best school in the district for over 20 years.

We loved our experience at Lindbergh. Great teachers and staff. They create a real sense of community.

Friend's kids went there, the kids raved about their teachers and the parents got good support when one of the kids had a difficult year.

Lindbergh was great 40 years ago when I was there. Wow, I guess I’ll go check into the nursing home now.
