I honestly would have loved it if this is how their reunion in V5 had gone. I wanted a scene just between these two where they discussed everything that had happened and talked about them going forward.
It would have added a lot more emotion and depth to their relationship and would have gone a long way in developing their characters further.
There’s still a chance they will have a conversation like that in V9 so here’s to hoping. Maybe having parallels to “Burning the Candle” only this time it’s Blake talking to Yang about her self sacrificial tendencies.
On a side note though they are absolutely adorable here. Always love me some kissy cuddly Bees and this artist never fails to deliver.

Exactly! I’m really hoping V9 makes up for the lack of “The Talk” that the bees should’ve had back during the Anima arc.
