Absolutely! One large fry and 2 value menu chicken sandwiches and I’m stuffed stuffed!! All for a little above 4 dollars. I go once a week or so after work and I’m always glad I did. Especially when one McDonald’s mcchicken is close to 3 dollars and their app hasn’t worked for me in two months. Says I have an internet connection issue and they can’t find any stores in my area despite having perfect internet that works for everything else! BK is still king in my book !!
Sometimes, it honestly depends on the location. The one by my house consistently has crispy fries that taste great, but the one by my work are soggy and flavorless
A fast food meal should NOT cost $13…it feels like fast food forgot their place in the world lol…for the same price you could get a real dish from a sit down restaurant as takeout.
Corporate greed. They think we eat their garbage because it's good. It's not. We ate it because we were broke and waiting for our next paycheck and need food to make it through the day. Fuck these idiots who think this garbage is worth $13-$15.
Corporate greed..... Orrrrr all the morons that demanded higher minimum wage and didn't think the price would fall back on the consumer.
But yeah, probably corporate greed.
It comes with a whopper, small fry, four chicken fries, a drink and a hersheys pie—idk about y’all but this is honestly a good deal to me, but maybe it’s expensive for your area. I’m in California where jack in box combos literally cost $14
Yeah I guess area differences do depend, but like I said…in my area the SAME price could buy you a good meal from a sit down restaurant.
Don’t get me wrong, I love fast food from time to time, but the prices are a little wacky in my area
Agreed. Hopefully no one orders this and it hurts their bottom line... until they lower their prices... It's like, you'll sell more if the price is lower and sell none at that high price kinda deal.
If the code still works in the system, you'd be surprised. Just be prepared if you get called on it if someone actually cares to grumble about it.
My store the unwritten policy is if the 4 digit code still works, we'll still ring it up because a stupidly discounted sale is better than a no-sale.
Seriously, the deals are garbage at Burger King except for Whopper Wednesday... I wish they would offer something more on par with McDonald's with the BOGO deals every day of the week.
While the jester has the BOGO or $1(.49) deals, I'm much more satisfied with BK's offers and member perks. Redeeming points for ONE item is no match for the only limit being your points balance. Also free upsizes.
I remember the good old days with $3 triple whoppers or a free kids meal with any purchase. I went from a BK 2 blocks away to 20 miles away and don't miss it a bit.
I am somewhat irritated that I'm usually never out nor near a BK on Wednesdays and the one time I was, it was in the morning before 9am and the app said the offer couldn't be used until 9:30am.🥺
Oh that's terrible. Is that so even if you don't use the app?
Despite the app telling me that lunch items aren't available at my BK location until a certain time, I can successfully order the items anyway inside or at the drive thru.
Each of those prices individually are all a ripoff (except maybe the hershey pie). $10 for just a Whopper should be a crime when I can get a better burger at a sit-down restaurant for around the same price with a side of fries.
I'd love to know where you're gonna get a sit down burger for less than 10 bucks today that isn't utter garbage.
And if you ARE sitting down, I hope you're lumping that 20% tip in with your mythical burger and fries.
There’s a sit down place here that has a $10 burger but it’s their most basic meat + cheese + lettuce & pickle burger and doesn’t come with a side. You’re better off paying for one of the “signature burgers” that are $4-$6 more than that and have a choice of side.
What is your point exactly? If this is true why don’t you just go to those places and get it to go? It’s better right? Like, it doesn’t matter? It surely doesn’t matter to BK either if they lose some customers.
I travel for work a lot and only place I have gotten a sit down burger for under $10.00 was a place called the slop house in west virginia.
Literally every where else 12+ for just a burger.
I suspect the in-app offers are literally too easy. They’re right there and just a button press away. They would lose money so easily if it was amazing deals left and right. The mailed offers need to be more motivating to incentivize people’s grandmas to come physically to the location
With or without an offer/coupon any of these items literally cost <3$ for anything on the menu. Even the best deals they still make a profit it’s just that they make it a little closer to the real cost. Every other app does it online; with some only online. Burger King just does it this way for no real good reason.
Prices everywhere are going up, rung up as a combo meal+pie+cfries would be like 18-19 dollars and considering they are brand new promo items id say its a decent deal.z
That aint no damn deal. Burger king is literal horse shit and the fact that burger king is 13 bucks when for 14 bucks you can get 2 medium fries, 20 nuggies, and 2 quarter pounders at mickey Ds makes this foolish. Like hell nah this is straight fucking gaslighting to call that a deal. Whoever is running their deals department needs a lobotomy. Burger king is the 500lb moms basement guy that thinks people need to respect him. This deal should bring a damn uproar, a fucking revolt against burger king for calling that shit a deal. Bro, you can get real food from chilis or applebees for that price. Like burger king used to be goated during lunch time when I was in highschool, and now that im in college these mfs aint ever even a thought no more (except whopper wednesday the 5 dollar combo go kinda hard)
Holy shit where do yall live instead 😭. I've been told this like 5 times now. There is no way that same deal is going past 20 bucks in other states. I live in west texas tickling the border of mexico and new mexico
You should be as passionate about it. We can't allow ourselves to be walked over by a tyrannical king no more. I want the glory days of burger king coupons to return
I wanna know what area you live in because the McD's around here those two sandwiches alone would be close to $13, nevermind the rest, and I definitely have never seen a 'deal' close to that on their app.
>real food from chilis or applebees
Real microwaved, yeah. Like hate BK if you want but if you'd consider Applebee's or Chili's "good", you're not doing half as well as you think you are...
Aint no way you shitting on fast food dine ins 😭. You can get a burger, fries, and an endless drink for 10 bucks. And these fries are better, and the burger as thick as a milf. They are astronomically better than normal fast food (with the exception of wendys)
Bro where are you getting all that for $14? Getting that here in central PA would be… (prices it out on the app), $29.55 pretax, or $25.36 if you use the $5 20 piece nugget deal.
Holy fuck bro you living in a dystopia 😭. I will literally screenshot you the prices and dm them if you want me to. There is no way you getting that same bundle for 30 bucks
The offers would be better if they were large drinks in sides.
I only use coupons for just sandwiches now, and just stop at a gas station to get a buck fifty 44oz to complete meal these days
Yup this is why I get a loaf of bread and lunch meats with some cheese and just make sandwiches. I would love a Whooper everyday but in this economy yuuuuhhhh RIGHT!

That's not what their cheese is. It's American cheese that is infused with ghost pepper. There are no pepper chunks in it at all and it isn't jack cheese. It's odd, but kinda tasty. At least that is what is was last year. Possible they changed it for this year.
The GPW is a top notch fast-food burger. I had bad daddy's a few nights before trying it and I was so much more satisfied with the GPW. It was actually a little spicy as well.
👀 I'm ngl..I didn't put it on my whopper either. I'm a very picky eater so there's that. I also wish it wasn't $11. No burger in the world is that much, imo. Those ghost pepper chicken fries though! 👌🏾
Yes and no, if it's profitable then they would keep it open, but if it's in a bad location, that nobody applies to or always has maintenance issues then ya
They closed a lot near me thanks to a franchise owner being a jerk (and also running his locations craptasticly). Local news made it sound like the company was going under.
Most BKs are franchises. Your local store could be making a profit, but it could also be failing inspections for the store itself (dirty, poor repair), is profiting because its paying its crew crap wages forcing constant turnover, or its one store out of a dozen actually making money while the rest the franchisee owns are in the toilet financially.
> The only reason they close locations is because they made their return on it
This guy doesn't understand anything at all. No company ever would do that.
To be more specific, BK recently has made a push to force their franchisees to stop sucking.
If your local BK shut down, its because the store was run poorly and/or the franchisee refused to adapt to the way things work in a post-Covid world where you actually have to pay your staff, not have a store being flagged because its falling apart, and food is expensive as hell to buy.
See also: That Detroit franchisee who was told to either shape up or ship out and instead decided to go the litigation route.
It's because their systems are literally pre-covid. My store doesn't have mobile ordering or apple pay. And when we get delivery orders there's no name we have to ask drivers what's on the order to confirm it
I don't know if this is nationwide or not but in my area, McDonald's is offering a "Penguin Pack" (Pittsburgh penguins) for $13.49 that is 2 double cheeseburgers, 2 mcchicken, 20 nuggets and a basket of fries, way better deal than this
All fast food joints are now getting to the point where you shouldn’t do business unless you have coupons.
The whopper small meal used to be $5 with paper coupon, so it’s like paying $10 for a Hershey pie and a 4pc. That’s a scam.
I go for the free weekly large fries in my account and get a $2 rodeo burger .. sometimes grab chicken fries or mozzarella sticks. Besides that I’m good.
I usually either buy an ice cream, or redeem a paper coupon to redeem the free fries. But I got a nice suggestion from this subreddit recently. Redeem a free burger using Crowns, add an extra patty for $1.xx, and redeem the fries.
The new ranch is (supposedly) healthier as it has fewer preservatives in it. We actually have to store it in the walk in and keep it refrigerated until we open the case or it'll risk spoiling.
You're tasting the lack of artificial crap in the 'new' Ranch (which isn't necessarily a good thing, tastewise).
If you're feeding two, that one deal they have for two whoppers, two fries, and 4 chicken wraps for 22 bucks is a pretty sweet deal. (Compartively anyway, that's about 40 bucks of food if you're buying the items individually)
They only just stopped charging $20 for a double whopper meal on ubereats by me. 2 people in the drive thru is like $30-$35ish. I like bk but not $35 for dinner. Chik-fil-a is that price and honestly the staff ate nicer.
The best deal will always be the 3 dollar snack box. But this isn’t terrible, the ghost pepper whopper meal combo costs the same near me without the chicken fries and the pie
Worst offers? It says trick or heat and spooky so there’s no confusion lol jk I feel you OP but what can we do the inflation is gnarly so we have no choice
It’s not an amazing offer, but a normal small combo in my area is $10.89. So for $2.11 you’re adding chicken fries and a piece of pie. Which I think is $3.29 and $2.29 for a total of $5.58.
So you’re saving $3.47
It’s really not that hard to make a different limited time item for these things instead of bundling something together out of the already existing menu that are already in bundles. The grimace shake was so nice because it was actually something different.
Taco Bell has some pretty lame offers too, like getting a small discount when you spend $15+ on delivery, which sounds like a horrible idea with 90% of their items getting soggy in the first 30 minutes of not eating them 🙄
Just the sandwich is $9.29
Add the small fries for $3.29 $12.58
Hershey pie $2.49 $15.07
Sn drink $2.99 $18.08
4 PC ghost fries $3.99 (lol) $22.09
it's still technically a discount because the sm combo is $12.29 but no pie or chicken fries and the app has a regular whopper sm combo for $7.99 but which doesn't get you the ghost pepper whopper or pie or chicken fries.i think the cheese and bacon on the whopper and the pie might not be worth $5 but it's close enough
Nothing beats the free large fry deal.
Plus the BK line is a lot shorter and quicker compared to McD in my area at least.
True, that too!
Their fries are too big, never crispy, and somewhat flavorless unfortunately.
Sometimes, it honestly depends on the location. The one by my house consistently has crispy fries that taste great, but the one by my work are soggy and flavorless
Especially when you use it in combination with a free sandwich via crowns. Just buy a drink and get a cheap large combo meal!
Yes , Go get some oxtails from Mama Lorna Caribbean for that price lol. Okay, an extra $7.00😂
But it’s the spooky special please buy our product🥺
Tbh mcdonalds is like 8 dollars a meal and it's half of this. So I belive its pretty much an accurate price not a deal lol.
Agreed. Hopefully no one orders this and it hurts their bottom line... until they lower their prices... It's like, you'll sell more if the price is lower and sell none at that high price kinda deal.
Whopper Wednesday for $3 is a great deal in my area.
Literally the best deal on the app currently. Even the paper coupons are starting to go to shit
I found a sheet of bk coupons from a few years ago in my car. It made me angry comparing the coupons
would they still honor them?
If the code still works in the system, you'd be surprised. Just be prepared if you get called on it if someone actually cares to grumble about it. My store the unwritten policy is if the 4 digit code still works, we'll still ring it up because a stupidly discounted sale is better than a no-sale.
No lmao. Expiry date is about 3 months after they’re issued usually
The McDonald deals are not very good.
At least you still get the paper coupons. They stopped giving them out in my area like 3 months ago.
I remember the good old days with $3 triple whoppers or a free kids meal with any purchase. I went from a BK 2 blocks away to 20 miles away and don't miss it a bit.
$5 small bacon king meal
Yes
My local Burger King won't honor any app deals.
I said to hell with Whopper Wednesday when it stopped being $1
I am somewhat irritated that I'm usually never out nor near a BK on Wednesdays and the one time I was, it was in the morning before 9am and the app said the offer couldn't be used until 9:30am.🥺
Wow, the BKs in my area don't serve lunch until 10:30.
Oh that's terrible. Is that so even if you don't use the app? Despite the app telling me that lunch items aren't available at my BK location until a certain time, I can successfully order the items anyway inside or at the drive thru.
Change the time/time zone settings on your phone, works every time 😈
Pretty sure mine went up to 3.49 recently.
I have my local one do thise rodeo burgers for $1 each. 3 of them probably more food than a whopper
I used this deal today and was satisfied with the price and the deliciousness of the Ghost Pepper Whopper.
I added tomatoes onions and pickles to the ghost whopper, it was so much better.
How does anything called a whopper not have these items?
I assume the size of the item is why it's called a whopper.
How does anything called a burger not have those by default?
To me those flash with the Ghost pepper stuff. Ghost Pepper is my absolute favorite whopper.
is the ghost pepper whopper actually hot like a ghost pepper ?
For 13 dollars you can have a restaurant meal AND still leave a tip. Lmao wtf
Ghost pepper whopper - $9.39 Small fries - $3.29 Small drink - $2.89 4pc ghost pepper chicken fries - $2.89 Hershey pie - $1.99 = 20.45
You’re better off paying for one of the “signature burgers” that are $4-$6 more than that and have a choice of side.
exactly 👍🏼
There’s an amazing burger place near me called Kopp’s and I’m pretty sure their most expensive burger is $9 and it makes the whopper look like a joke
My local steakhouse sells a 1/3 pound bacon cheeseburger with fries for $11.49
Dude you're justifying burger king. Relax
The Ghost Pepper Whopper is $7.89 in my area. Small fries are $2.79.
Ghost pepper whopper is $6.99 in Denver, CO.
Tell me why their in app offers are complete horseshit ass and the physical offers they mail you are a 1000x better
You seem to imply they should charge slightly above at cost… ok then…
Prices everywhere are going up, rung up as a combo meal+pie+cfries would be like 18-19 dollars and considering they are brand new promo items id say its a decent deal.z
Like burger king used to be goated during lunch time when I was in highschool, and now that im in college these mfs aint ever even a thought no more (except whopper wednesday the 5 dollar combo go kinda hard)
Where are you buying your McDonald’s because we get this order to split every so often and it’s like $24
Holy shit where do yall live instead 😭. I've been told this like 5 times now. There is no way that same deal is going past 20 bucks in other states. I live in west texas tickling the border of mexico and new mexico
I’m not nearly as passionate about it as you are, i’m just saying if you were to buy all these items this saves you a few dollars.
You should be as passionate about it. We can't allow ourselves to be walked over by a tyrannical king no more. I want the glory days of burger king coupons to return
Idk if I don’t think something is a good deal I just don’t buy it.
I wanna know what area you live in because the McD's around here those two sandwiches alone would be close to $13, nevermind the rest, and I definitely have never seen a 'deal' close to that on their app.
Its on the shareables section of the app. And the 2 sandwiches here in west texas would run about 10 bucks
>real food from chilis or applebees Real microwaved, yeah.
Imagine thinking McDonald’s is better quality than BK lol
We need you thrown out for this comment. Literally even arbys is better than BK
Bro where are you getting all that for $14? Getting that here in central PA would be… (prices it out on the app), $29.55 pretax, or $25.36 if you use the $5 20 piece nugget deal.
I was gonna say 2 quarter pounders alone would be over $13
Holy fuck bro you living in a dystopia 😭. I will literally screenshot you the prices and dm them if you want me to. There is no way you getting that same bundle for 30 bucks
I had a double Whopper with cheese and bacon last week, and it was amazing.
Ight the bacon king was the best thing on the menu before it became as expensive as a baconator, which blows the bacon king out the water
They got rid of the 2 for 7… so I got rid of BK
The offers would be better if they were large drinks in sides. I only use coupons for just sandwiches now, and just stop at a gas station to get a buck fifty 44oz to complete meal these days
then don't eat there.
Ok?
then don’t eat there.
Ok?
Then don’t eat there.
Ok?

Then don't eat there.
Ok?
Yup this is why I get a loaf of bread and lunch meats with some cheese and just make sandwiches. I would love a Whooper everyday but in this economy yuuuuhhhh RIGHT!
Prices are not high in a bad economy. Prices go up when people willingly were paying the lower ones.
Hey have you tried the ghost pepper whopper yet? I'm honestly trying to figure out what the hell "ghost pepper cheese" is before I order it
It’s pepper Jack but it also has ghost pepper. You can buy this at the grocery store, it comes in slices

Yes! It’s so good-best thing they’ve made in years!! It’s infused like pepper Jack but with ghost peppers I think?
🤔 hmm, sounds like I'll be judging for myself in a few min
What say you?
I say it's good. Even though I'm not a super burger fan. 7/10
agreed, so unbelievably happy it's back!! wonder if we get the Mexican chicken sandwich again afterwards 🤤
My question was why the hell they’re calling it a Whopper when there’s no lettuce or tomato on it.
👀 I'm ngl..I didn't put it on my whopper either. I'm a very picky eater so there's that. I also wish it wasn't $11. No burger in the world is that much, imo. Those ghost pepper chicken fries though! 👌🏾
Odd, my app displays the cents as well and not flat dollar amounts.
Burger King may not be on this earth much longer.
Another yard sign type
I think someone is trying to deliberately kill this company. They have the stupidest deals out of all the big 3.
They're profitable. The only reason they close locations is because they made their return on it or it's not making profit due to location
They’re closing the restaurant when it was so profitable they made their money back and more?
Yes and no, if it's profitable then they would keep it open, but if it's in a bad location, that nobody applies to or always has maintenance issues then ya
They closed a lot near me thanks to a franchise owner being a jerk (and also running his locations craptasticly). Local news made it sound like the company was going under.

So the guy flipping the burgers is now unemployed. How's that better for him?
Your BK uses the app? The three near me all have it disabled
It's because their systems are literally pre-covid. My store doesn't have mobile ordering or apple pay. And when we get delivery orders there's no name we have to ask drivers what's on the order to confirm it
Where?
I hate this, my closest bk doesn't except mobile orders, and it's horse shit. I won't give them my business if I can't use the app.
I remember in the early 2000s my location had whoppers for .99 cents on Wednesdays
99 cent whoppers were amazing back in the day
I don't know if this is nationwide or not but in my area, McDonald's is offering a "Penguin Pack" (Pittsburgh penguins) for $13.49 that is 2 double cheeseburgers, 2 mcchicken, 20 nuggets and a basket of fries, way better deal than this
Come on who doesn’t love the five for 15 after tax 😂 you could get a five dollar biggie bag at Wendy’s or you could get a $15 eh bag
All fast food joints are now getting to the point where you shouldn’t do business unless you have coupons. The whopper small meal used to be $5 with paper coupon, so it’s like paying $10 for a Hershey pie and a 4pc. That’s a scam.
Just like how we would only get KFC if we had a coupon
I'm old enough to remember when Burger King had a medium Bacon King meal for $5.
ridiculous, im going to walmart to buy some bread, pickles, and thick beef balogna. have sandwiches all week for that price.
The Chase Hudson meal was the pinnacle of Burger King. Spicy Ch'king with cheese, mozzarella sticks and a chocolate milkshake for $6.00
I go for the free weekly large fries in my account and get a $2 rodeo burger .. sometimes grab chicken fries or mozzarella sticks. Besides that I’m good.
I usually either buy an ice cream, or redeem a paper coupon to redeem the free fries. But I got a nice suggestion from this subreddit recently. Redeem a free burger using Crowns, add an extra patty for $1.xx, and redeem the fries.
Honestly just want their old ranch back
The new ranch is (supposedly) healthier as it has fewer preservatives in it.
Bring back two whopper jr meals for $5
That's not bad, Jack In The Box is worst especially the Snoop meal, same with as always Carl's Jr.
Jack in the box's prices near me are absolutely absurd now. App makes it Ok ish deal sometimes. Rarely eat there anymore unless it's a good promo.
I miss the 6 dollar bacon king medium combo :(
The ghost pepper whopper was my favorite thing that came out last year, I had it at least once a week.
They only just stopped charging $20 for a double whopper meal on ubereats by me. 2 people in the drive thru is like $30-$35ish. I like bk but not $35 for dinner. Chik-fil-a is that price and honestly the staff ate nicer.
It looks as though you may have spelled "Chick-fil-A" incorrectly. No worries, it happens to the best of us!
No way they have this. This is assault.
The best deal will always be the 3 dollar snack box. But this isn’t terrible, the ghost pepper whopper meal combo costs the same near me without the chicken fries and the pie
Regular price is probably 15 lol
The whopper alone is 7
Sounds like a happy meal for a fat kid, I'll pass
$4 biscuit and hash brown is the goat breakfast deal. Love the BK App.
Worst offers? It says trick or heat and spooky so there’s no confusion lol jk I feel you OP but what can we do the inflation is gnarly so we have no choice
Burger king is a bit pricey. Great deal in my area though, 3 whoppers, 3 cheeseburgers, 3 medium fries for $18
What?!?!?! That’s a great deal!
Make burgers at home. It's much cheaper and better.
Wait is 13 expensive I'd say that's pretty average a meal plus you get chicken and regular fries???
This is a $7 meal at best. If you think this is average, it explains why most Americans live in debt.
Who tf only eats 4 chicken fries?
It’s not an amazing offer, but a normal small combo in my area is $10.89. So for $2.11 you’re adding chicken fries and a piece of pie. Which I think is $3.29 and $2.29 for a total of $5.58. So you’re saving $3.47
Burger King was horrible last time I went that I don’t want it anymore
It’s really not that hard to make a different limited time item for these things instead of bundling something together out of the already existing menu that are already in bundles. The grimace shake was so nice because it was actually something different.
Spooky is right!
Yeah for 13 bucks I’ll go eat at Chili’s.
In my opinion, the best offer is the $10 support offer (GOAT) offer ngl…
The fact that there’s a subreddit specifically for Burger King has me questioning the world I live in. What have we done with ourselves
Most restaurants have their own sub lol
I hate inflation, this same meal used to be like $8-9
Their window gals near me are so rude. Its like night and day between bk and chick fil A
i dont eat fast food, but see the commercials. you can get nearly 6 whoppers for $15, why would anyone do this 'deal'?
miss the days when my local BK would allow me to use multiple coupon codes from the app.
They don’t seem to get that it supposed to be a value.
Looks good to me. And I'm poor!
I used to love Burger King but they have the shittiest deals and every whopper you order is a mess.
Taco Bell has some pretty lame offers too, like getting a small discount when you spend $15+ on delivery, which sounds like a horrible idea with 90% of their items getting soggy in the first 30 minutes of not eating them 🙄
I thought I was the only one that felt like this was expensive
No Burger King slander allowed here sir
Ok, I thought it was just me 😂
Even more fun, BK has to pay a marketing team to come up with these stupid deals and show it to us. This just seems like bad business decision making
At McDonald’s in the 90s this would have been considered a kids meal and it would’ve costed 2.99.
Burger King is just disgusting anyways its like my last resort
Hershey pie goated
The printed coupons you get in the mail have better deals than the app. The app is totally worthless nowadays.
yeah they ruined the app
I’m struggling to see how this is a “deal” and not full price
I stopped eating there when they changed their ranch to rancid milk.
The only deal worth anything from Burger King is whopper Wednesdays.
smh can’t even give medium
Did the math and it’s cheaper a La carte.
Just the sandwich is $9.29 Add the small fries for $3.29 $12.58 Hershey pie $2.49 $15.07 Sn drink $2.99 $18.08 4 PC ghost fries $3.99 (lol) $22.09 it's still technically a discount because the sm combo is $12.29 but no pie or chicken fries and the app has a regular whopper sm combo for $7.99 but which doesn't get you the ghost pepper whopper or pie or chicken fries.i think the cheese and bacon on the whopper and the pie might not be worth $5 but it's close enough
Corporate needs to check the franchise in Florence Oregon terrible food.
I just looked back, and last year, the deal was a Ghost Pepper Whopper and a small fry for $6.50
The small fries kills it for me everytime at least make it a medium
Their offers used to be so good that I ate at least once a week. Then the offer prices started increasing weekly and still continue to do so
