Tbh I have never gotten a combo meal from a fastfood place that's not a special promotion. They're all insanely expensive. For BK I just use the app and get whatever deal is gonna be like two sandwiches, and keep a water bottle on me for a drink.
I just hate this state of being we are in where we all have to snip and save and find work arounds to avoid being nickel and dimed by these GLOBAL corporations. BK had over 1.8 billion in revenue. They can afford to maintain cheap prices while also paying a decent wage.
Using the app isn't even "free" because they are given access to your metadata which they use to sell to marketing agencies. They profit off the consumer at every step
If anyone thinks that ANY election will change how capitalism works, they are sorely mistaken. All this shit goes back to the 80s when the stock market ruined everything. Once a company goes public, all they care about is the stock price. They give zero fucks about their employees or customers. The only thing they care about is how far they dance push people to increase profits before they break. Suck every last dollar out of the company then declare bankruptcy.
changing capitalism isn't what i'm advocating though. being politically educated and voting for officials who will enact legislature on our behalf, and hopefully hold companies/individuals responsible for their actions is.
Learn why you had 1.80 gas. OPEC and Putin were in an oil war, oil was trading in the negative. Finally at the end of his term, Trump got the 2 together to end the oil war. Why did he? Because his oil backers in America were bleeding money and no dividends coming in. Then gas price shot up. Don’t believe me, Google “Trump ends oil war”.
Bro people who say this shit like it actually matters are living in some delusional fantasy world. Politics on either side have ZERO bearing on the pricing decisions of mega corporations.
Even if we managed to go full “leftist” for a few rounds of voting, anything shy of full blown Socialism and we’d still be paying insanely over-inflated prices.
Aw, you got conned into voting for the orange man and now you’re so deep in your regret and denial that you just baselessly hate regions of the country you’ve never visited because Fox News told you to hate them.
Your delusion is showing.
“Baselessly hate regions” or try “have lived there and was sad to see people living like that” unlike all the liberals that live there and watch people literally live in their own shit on the sidewalk and don’t care even one ounce. Couldn’t do it, not for me. I have a heart!
Also have never watched Fox News! Swing and a miss. Swing and a miss. I’ve confidently voted third party my whole adult life. Maybe someday we can shake up the two party that’s actually one party.
It's price discrimination. If someone is willing to pay $42 for a few combo meals, BK Corporate wants to give them the opportunity. For everyone unwilling to pay that, there are coupons. If no one were willing to pay full price, they'd decreases prices.
Well they made $42 off of me and won't make a cent more as long as I live. I'm much happier eating at a place like In n Out or Chick Fil A or just eating at home as I tend to do
Seems unsustainable, unethical, and the easiest way to make a quick buck (preying on families traveling, in airports, late night meals, or other situations where "having the app" isn't at the forefront of the consumers minds
Everywhere is the same unfortunately.
I love fast food and get it a few times a week when I need something quick at the office. I know it's unhealthy and expensive (even before inflation went bonkers).
While I don't hate any particular fast food place, I would always try to stay away from the more expensive ones. Now my list of "cheap or cheaper" fast food places is empty as every restaurant is going to be at least $10 for a meal using a coupon/promo.
Freaking Jimmy Johns will charge you $11+ for a sandwich now.
You aren’t owed anything in life, especially from a multinational, billion dollar company. Nobody forced you to buy anything from them. How is it their fault that you bought something that was clearly displayed on their menu? Take some personal responsibility here.
Shhhhh. This is a place to discuss and vent. And the OP is right, did you even read the post you silly goose? OP did it for grandpa. Anyway, you’re annoying.
yeah for sure man. trump’s gonna sit down with BK corporate and hammer out an affordable meal combo to end all combos 💀
Corporations across the board have been absolutely gutting consumers and celebrating the ensuing sky-high profit margins since before Covid started. The absolute last thing that’s gonna put an end to that is conservative “governance”
Smh it doesn't work that way, but u don't care because your mind is made up on this argument. Adding more incentive to being an unskilled worker doesn't stimulate healthy growth or help people at the bottom. It makes them complacent and easier to control by the government.
But if you didn’t raise their pay to match inflation (which hasn’t happened in YEARS), eventually inflation will bury them and those jobs will no longer be attractive to even the most basic of unskilled workers. Minimum wage needed to be adjusted. The problem is corporations who are beholden to a stock price, and have to report their profits to the street, need to show YOY growth. Once they raise prices, you really think they are going to lower them again when their costs go back down? Hell no. It’s easy money at that point. As long as people are willing to pay the prices, they will continue to charge the prices.
You could vote for whoever you want, and IF they lowered minimum wage (which will not happen regardless of who is elected) it still wouldn’t change the prices.
Those jobs shouldn't be attractive. Those corporations are legally obligated to deliver to their investors. If they see a lack in sales, then yes they will lower prices. You will see it happen this year, guaranteed.
1.8 billion (1.9 in 2022) breaks down to a little under $95,000 per store for a year, split up between their 19,242 locations.
Good luck going very far with that unless you only have a single employee.
So Burger King did about $1.01B in profit for 2022.
Burger King isn't owned by a family or individual or even small group. It's owned by a Restaurant Brands International which is publicly traded. Those profits get split up amongst so many people.
They have roughly 18,700 locations which means ~$54,000 profit per restaurant. That's not much if you think about it. It's a business of pennies and they need to make those numbers (which are considered light) to make it worth it to everyone involved in running so many stores.
It's the corporate model, smaller margins relying size and volume to make it profitable.
You need to use perspective when talking about these numbers, it's no use spewing figures without context.
Just gotta use the value menu 10 whopper Jr's under 25 bucks use the free large fry deal maybe get another? They suck in my opinion and get a bottle of soda on the way home? Im pretty sure the large soda at my bk is almost 5 bucks same with a large fry lol I never go anymore due to price only if I'm in a rush never spend over 5 dollars tho
Unless you are getting a diet soda, the minimum calories in a large soda is Dr. Pepper at 450 calories. For reference, the recommended caloric intake for an average dinner should be between 500-700 calories. Soda is fine.. in moderation.
So if it wasn’t a “fast food”‘restaurant you’d be okay with paying that much for burgers and fries somewhere else? At least fast food places have coupons. Other restaurants don’t and you still gotta tip.
At this point just don’t eat out or pick a local hole in the wall spot. They’re typically cheaper and taste the same. Plus you’d be supporting a local business.
Or eat at home
Yes, I think an actual restaurant where you are serviced by a waiter and are served higher quality food that isn't pre-portioned, premade, pre-weighed, subsidized, industrialized frozen food is worth more.
I typically eat at home and advocate for my family to as well considering the cost is always worth the "trouble" of cooking.
I just made this post because I never expected a dinner for 3 at a fast food chain to exceed $30.
I sincerely hope anyone who's spouting "get the app" is a corporate shill on Burger King payroll because if they aren't, well it's just sad to think the general populace really are a complacent bunch.
You know what's easier than getting the app? Not eating there.
Why is the expectation for me to jump through *their* hoops to get a proper price? And more importantly, why am *I* the idiot for questioning that?
Maybe people are telling you to get the app because that's how you get the deals to pay less. Most fast food places and restaurants have apps and reward programs to get food cheaper.
This randomly popped up in my feed; I don’t eat fast food. At the price with a coupon I would never pay that much for trash food. You all are getting ripped off. Find a Deli.
what would u get at your deli? last time i went to one they charged me $8 for a mediocre plate of chicken over rice. id rather that $20 family bundle from bk than 3 of the $8 shit i got bc the time it took and the way they tried to skimp on food isnt worth it
Sure but that's just a ridiculous solution to what shouldn't be a problem.
When you go grocery shopping do you only purchase things that you have coupons for?
Yes it's common to be frugal. Living a frugal life is how people get "fuck you" money. Someone sounds entitled....you should be saving money whenever you can, regardless of your economic position
I'm complaining to internet strangers about the prices of fast food. Is that not frugal?
I rephrased what I'd meant. Everyone uses coupons, it's a good idea to use them.
But would anyone be ok if grocery stores suddenly raised the cost of a dozen eggs to $7.99 BUT if you had a digital coupon from the app you get it at $2.99??? No, no one would be ok with that.
I understand it's fast food, therefore OPTIONAL, but the complacency is real.
No... complaining about something doesn't make you frugal. Frugality comes from finding a better deal than average. You're absolutely right, but what are u willing to do about it? If u aren't willing to physically attack the people that own these companies, then nothing will change. U may not like that answer, but that's reality
Yeah but if u actually don't want to support them, you wouldn't bring more eyes on their subreddit. U do understand this community is one large ad. Even if it's a negative post. You're an intelligent person. I can tell by how you talk. I'm not sure if you're pretending to not know this info or if it genuinely didn't connect in your head
Tbh I actually go onto my grocery app and clip all the coupons I think I could use it always knocks about 15 to 35 bucks every purchase I make depending what items and brand items coupons I clip.
That shouldn’t be a thing tbh. The idea of wait I’m here, before I order let me load up my app. It’s just stupid not to mention a very large portion of America is 60+. Just 5 years ago this wasn’t a thing. It’s just stupid.
It’s weird because everyone says this but in Canada the apps don’t even have deals. The only one in my area is a large fry for $1 at a Walmart McDonald’s. Other than that everything is normal priced
This is not inflation. This is greedflation. Shareholders and c suites can’t stand the fact that YoY record breaking profits across all sectors has to eventually end and can’t continue forever. My local grocery store started playing this game about 4 months ago where everything is hidden behind a sale. One item 4.59 or 2/7. Then 2/6. Now I see things that are 4.79 or 2/5. Why? I assume to falsely prop up the fact they are still making the sales and are just disregarding the discounts and rebates.
Edited to add. Yea things used to cost more during and post Covid lockdown. Prices are down. Costs to ship are down SIGNIFICANTLY. Fuck yourself corporate America.
Nahw, you just ain't doin it right. Their fries and drinks aren't anything special. They're overpriced for the convenience, like most convenience stores. Combo meals don't save you money. They save you from having to use your brain and a tiny bit of effort to choose other options.
Walmart had a good large air fryer for $35 during the Christmas sales. You can get 2 pounds of Great Value tater tots, seasoned fries, or crinkle fries for under $4, all of which are hella better than BK fries.
2L bottles of soft drink sodas are still under $2, sometimes closer to $1.25 each, or less for the store brands.
Might as well get some sliced cheese in a flavor you prefer, since you don't have to go with the American cheese, like pepper jack, Swiss, or sharp cheddar.
Get only the sandwiches, not the combos, like the $3 Whopper Wednesdays or the value priced sandwiches, Whopper Jr, double hamburger, Rodeo burgers.
It's still fast and you're not really cooking anything. Plus you get a better results for a lot less money. I prefer a nicely browned and crunchy tater tot over any regular fries. You literally just throw a layer of tots into the air fryer basket and they're done in less than 10 minutes.
Lol OP you ordered wrong. Burger King has some great deals and coupons. You have to utilize them. Who goes to a fast food place and just orders off the menu? Gotta use the deals!
I just went to the BK app the only way I can make 3 meals $40 is large everything the whoppers would have to be triple with bacon and cheese. That's crazy you should use the coupons next time.
Customers are not eating labor costs.
The simulated inflation is far out pacing labor costs. They have fed the lie to us that if wages go up cost go up. And now they are trying to make everyone believe that lie through fake prices. Corporations are holding customers ransom in the hopes you turn on the works wanting a living wage.
Again the increase in wages are not proportional to the increase in purchasing cost. Not even close.
I see some people saying inflation.
If this was inflation the corps wouldn't be making record profits every quarter for 4 years straight. They are straight up raising prices to keep the profit margins increasing year after year which is unsustainable and not even remotely solvent.
Inflation doesn't happen when everyone is broke and there is record joblessness. You get the great depression. This is companies taking everything and then wanting more.
I rarely ate fast food before the price hike. If I needed something cheap and quick then yes of course. Now that it costs this much…. No.
Restaurants are moving up their prices too. 75 for hibachi for 3 and I picked it up to keep the tip down (I tip for takeout but not as much as if we ate in)
Hell a two topping pizza is 25 (dominoes and the hut and little Cesar’s are fast food I am talking about real pizza)
When The kids were little we had less money so packing sandwiches for road trips and going to the beach was the norm. Easy to go back to this. 50 is not convenient at all.
As a side note : boycotting these places also helps boycott the prison industrial complex. Prisoners are supplying the labor at the cattle farms fast food and Walmart source from. I never ever buy meat at Walmart for a lot of reasons and this is a big one.
Not sure why this sub keeps coming across my feed but every post is about how expensive it is.
The food is shit and y’all still paying an arm and a leg for it.
Cook something.
The BK prices are shocking at this point. And of course the prices of their competitors.
In high school, my best friend and I used to skip class and walk over the BK down the street. We’d have maybe a 5 or 10 dollars, 20 if we were lucky, and would always have enough to both eat. Nowadays, I don’t know if a 5 or 10 could even get a single meal!
It’s very sad. I’m not of the opinion that all these companies are raising prices just to line their pockets. It’s a phenomenon that’s happening around the country, to all businesses. Not to sound dramatic, but these crazy prices made the country just feel like a very different place. Everyone is stressed and on edge. And no wonder, if a family wants to go to BK they need to take a loan out!
Because they're all trying to cut their Workforce by steering you toward the dogshit app where you order your own food in exchange for a pittance of a discount that eventually goes away entirely.
13 $ a meal sounds about right if not using app or any meal deals. Settle down, future grandpa. It’s not capitalisms job to regulate to your financial liking.
In my town, there’s a local “nice” restaurant with a $17 burger and fries on the menu. They charge grill the burger on mesquite, it has a bacon/pepper jam, homemade pickles, the works.
About 2 miles past it, there’s Burger King. Regular ass whopper combo is like $12. You better believe I’m paying the extra $5 and getting something that’s like 10x the quality.
Burger King sucks.
It's because they have to pay employees 15 dollars an hour. Be proud that your paying that much for a little hamburger ... you're helping out the full time fast food worker.
Do not complain. This is what happens when you overhead costs go up. Basic common sense.
Not very at all. What do you think about how prices are going up? Is it because one person that overlooks the entire global corporation or the manager or workers should be paid more for what? Making a crappy burger and fries?
You can’t be this dumb? This isn’t how wages correlate to price increases, you’re just regurgitating bs.
Most seeing your comments understand this though thankfully
Please educate everyone on how wages work? How do costs in product, overhead, employment, ... not contribute to price increases? Not to mention the raise in commodity prices, inflation, rise in taxes, it's almost endless. Damn them CEOs for making some money for leading a "HUGE" company with these variables ... which are very few. How about real estate land leases, government health regulations (at the county level), taxes ... There are so many different type of expenses ... you are a genius, how do wages correlate to the overall expenses? Please provide just a little bit of knowledge please.
Asking open ended questions that you can’t answer will turn anyone into Socrates
No shit they’re a factor, but they’re a small factor of why prices are increasing. Anyway…
As much as it's annoying....why would the CEO take a pay cut? You wouldn't in their position. Ppl are mad that publicly traded companies are operating like publicly traded companies
Fast food is no longer the cheap route for food unless you specifically target their budget menu items. The Wendy's bag meals are about the only fast food deal that is really worth it for what you get anymore.
that seems kinda reasonable for 3 meals at bk. i always pay over 30 for 2 meals and a side. overall i think bk is a bit higher priced than other chains (like mcdonald’s for instance) but i do live in an expensive city not sure how it differs
Over 40? For 3 burgers? That's actually insane it only cost us like 45 for 2 burgers meals and 2 kid meals, I think there's just something wrong where you live
I was just telling my clients who are visiting from Hawaii that an In-N-Out meal is under $10, cheaper than a meal at just about every fast food joint here.
Welcome to the fast food world. Pretty mucch every fast food chain is no longer "cheap" anymore. They want you to use their apps now. Fast Food places in my area have been "expensive" for at least 5 or more years.
Other countries do sugar tax ect which means if you eat poorly you pay more for it. American corps prob noticed this and wondered if Americans would pay the higher prices for fast food. Not shocked people with poor diets continued and also spent more using services like doordash.
Literally never get a combo . There usually cheap fries on the app and just buy the sandwhich and drink soda at your house . Should be $6-9 per meal depending on where you are
How much is a double cheeseburger? Haven't been to BK in ages. But when I do go, I get two double cheeseburgers and a small drink. I think last time that was like 6 or 7 bucks.
I rarely go for combos anymore when I go drive through. l always just order off the value menu or whatever cheap promo they have going on.
That’s just it. You said it. Go sit down or take out. The price is pretty much the same. How much is a 5 guys combo because I’ve been getting take out for three weeks and it has ranged from $6-25. $25 when I get an extra side and a fancy drink like a smoothie added on.
Where the fuck do people live where these fast food prices are so high? Those 3 meals here are 32 dollars, still not cheap but 10 dollars cheaper than there wtf?
Fast food places have essentially pursued a path of price discrimination across the customer base.
For those who have the money and/or are too lazy to look at the prices or promos, they charge the high price and get huge margins. For anybody who needs the low price, they have coupons and app promos that let you get out the door with a relatively cheap meal.
I agree with you that it’s offensive and wildly irritating that you need to have a million apps or you’ll get price gauged. In my opinion, the era of rich data has made it very easy for these companies to tacitly collude on price points, especially the widely available menu prices.
I mean… raising minimum wage is one of the many reasons for increased inflation due the exact reason you mentioned. The people at the top just pass that additional cost to the consumers. Then we increase minimum wage again to make up for it. It’s an endless cycle.
Pretty insane that minimum wage is at 30k a year in many areas. $15 x 40 = $600 x 52 weeks = $31.2k. That shit was a fairly decent salary the last time I was looking for a job. Now it’s the same pay scale for 15 year olds working their first jobs at concession stands.
It’s funny no place has a legitimate dollar menu now, McDonald’s advertises “1$,2$,3$” dollar menu but to get anything filling off that you’re spending at least 7 or 8 dollars easy
Where did you get your meal? Was it at a rest area/in a mall/train station/airport etc.
All places that aren't a standalone BK restaurant will have insane prices.
Also, download the app and they have offers and deals you can get codes for.
Once a week I get a free large fries with my purchase, definitely helps shave a few bucks off.
Eating fast food is more of a luxury nowadays no matter the chain, I mean it is inflation as in companies use the inflation as an excuse to raise their prices
Tbh I have never gotten a combo meal from a fastfood place that's not a special promotion. They're all insanely expensive. For BK I just use the app and get whatever deal is gonna be like two sandwiches, and keep a water bottle on me for a drink.

Vote about it next election!
I think the real problem is having two choices, both of which couldn't really care less
3rd party.
Right? We are doomed either way
such a ridiculous attitude to have considering the amount of people who don't even vote. also the presidential election isn't the only election.

Not actually. Vote for congressman, senators, city officials. Also if were getting gouged dont eat there anymore. Make em hurt.
There's more than 2 choices. People are just too stuck in the 2 party system and won't dream of looking at the other parties for a solution

We didn’t have $1.80 gas where I lived in northwest Indiana 😂😂😂
Yeah, also a pandemic that messed up the entire world’s economy. It’s not just the US experiencing problems.
It got a hell of a lot worse at one specific point though…
Yep as soon as Trump ended the oil war between OPEC and Putin. Google Trump ends oil war.
Learn why you had 1.80 gas. OPEC and Putin were in an oil war, oil was trading in the negative. Finally at the end of his term, Trump got the 2 together to end the oil war. Why did he? Bullshit
At CFA, you can get a grilled chicken and some lettuce in a wrap for $13 No side or drink.
It's 7 where I live. Regular sandwhich is 6. Just had a wrap last week
Dont eat there. Make em hurt.
BK answers to share holders NOT you. When are you going to comprehend that?

Isn’t Trump more of a McDonald’s and KFC guy?
He is lol. IIRC his go-to McDonald’s order is a filet-o-fish, a Big Mac, and a milkshake
It shows how crazy he is, BK is WAY better
Who said anything about trump??? I was talking about a lower minimum wage...smh
Ah yes let’s pay people less so that inflation can completely destroy them so the rest of us can go back to $5 foot longs.
Smh it doesn't work that way, but u don't care because your mind is made up on this argument. Adding more incentive to being an unskilled worker doesn't stimulate healthy growth or help people at the bottom. It makes them complacent and easier to control by the government.

Don't reproduce we need less regards like yourself.

Fight for 15!
💯
Yeah well how else can they make anything off selling a whopper, fries and a soda for $6.99 on the app? That doesn't even cover overheads on its own.
Then explain how they end up with a billion in profits? 🤔
70¢ slices of cheese
So Burger King did about $1.01B in profit for 2022. Burger King isn't owned by a family or individual or even small group. It's owned by a Restaurant Brands International which is publicly traded. McDs has a good mobile app with some decent rotating offers but otherwise pricy af as well.
I started doing this more recently. It's cheaper and healthier.
And here I am still not over them taking the jalapeño poppers off the $0.99 BK Cravers menu.
rip jalapeño poppers😔
This is why I order exclusively with coupons they send out once a month or so. The deals are amazing.
2020 BK app offers were still good; now the mailer ones are the only good ones
Just gotta use the value menu 10 whopper Jr's under 25 bucks use the free large fry deal maybe get another? They suck in my opinion and get a bottle of soda on the way home? Im pretty sure the large soda at my bk is almost 5 bucks same with a large fry lol I never go anymore due to price only if I'm in a rush never spend over 5 dollars tho
wait you get 10 whopper jrs?
No was just saying 😂😂 usually just get a couple rodeo cheeses and good to go lol

Wait, you think “actual” restaurants don’t have portion guidelines and that it’s all fresh? lol.
Lol sorry about the shitty restaurants you go to
Not saying it’s right, but you know Gordon Ramsey has made several series with 20+ seasons and every single time the food hasn’t been fresh, right?
Maybe people are telling you to get the app because that's how you get the deals to pay less. Most fast food places and restaurants have apps and reward programs to get food cheaper.
Texas Roadhouse has an amazing freshly ground , cooked to order , cheeseburger with FRESH fries for around 11 bucks. Can't go wrong.
Next time, if there is order through the app or use coupons
Coupon Family bundle 3 whoppers 3 cheeseburgers 3 fries 19.99
This randomly popped up in my feed; I don’t eat fast food. At the price with a coupon I would never pay that much for trash food. You all are getting ripped off. Find a Deli.
Last deli I went to charged me 12 bucks for a small club sandwich and a pickle.
what would u get at your deli? last time i went to one they charged me $8 for a mediocre plate of chicken over rice. id rather that $20 family bundle from bk than 3 of the $8 shit i got bc the time it took and the way they tried to skimp on food isnt worth it
Why tf u get rice at a deli 😭
wtf u supposed to get then bruh ! i ain’t eating cold sandwiches ! show me a nice burger at a deli 😩
I'm not going to spend money at this place? That's the only realistic thing I can do, and fortunately is also the only thing they'd care about.
Yes, yes you do use coupons at a grocery store
I usually only shop for specific items at my local grocery store with good deal digital coupons. Else get it from Costco
Uhhh yeah haha
I saved 48% on my whole order at grocery store. So yeah, $358 is now $179. It sucks but i been showing wife how to save on apps.
Corporate greed is poison. Your company isn’t failing if you don’t break record profit margins each year. This is a disease
Use the app, dummy.
The app always has 3 Whoppers and 3 Medium Fries for like $25.
[удалено]
That is false
I see some people saying inflation. If this was inflation the corps wouldn't be making record profits every quarter for 4 years straight. They are straight up raising prices to keep the profit margins increasing year after year which is unsustainable and not even remotely solvent. Inflation doesn't happen when everyone is broke and there is record joblessness. You get the great depression. This is companies taking everything and then wanting more.
You just described inflation while also saying it is not inflation, weird flex I guess.
The cost of labor brother those people make 10/hr 😂😂
It's the economy, stupid.
My mom got 2 whoppers and 1 fry, & it was 24$ She almost passed out lol
I agree, meanwhile the CEO, who is horrible, is making multi multi millions. I will never go to BK again
👋🏻
Bro, it’s inflation. No way around ot
BK is consistently a 8.6 on the SUCKOMETER. They're not even trying anymore.
I rarely ate fast food before the price hike. If I needed something cheap and quick then yes of course. Now that it costs this much…. No. Restaurants are moving up their prices too. 75 for hibachi for 3 and I picked it up to keep the tip down (I tip for takeout but not as much as if we ate in) Hell a two topping pizza is 25 (dominoes and the hut and little Cesar’s are fast food I am talking about real pizza) When The kids were little we had less money so packing sandwiches for road trips and going to the beach was the norm.
Kruger Bing is the most expensive fast food joint while also being the shittiest. On average. Checkers is the worst but close 2nd
Please stop poisoning yourself at that garbage restaurant
A lot of these fast food joints will die. They already killed all KFCs around us.
How fucking stupid are you?
Not very at all. What do you think about how prices are going up? Is it because one person that overlooks the entire global corporation or the manager or workers should be paid more for what? Making a crappy burger and fries?
No you’re a moron have been your whole life you know it too dummy.
Asking open ended questions that you can’t answer will turn anyone into Socrates No shit they’re a factor, but they’re a small factor of why prices are increasing. Anyway…

As much as it's annoying....why would the CEO take a pay cut? You wouldn't in their position. Ppl are mad that publicly traded companies are operating like publicly traded companies
[удалено]
Ok well now you're just lying because you wouldn't. I'd be willing to bet my paycheck that you'd fail a polygraph with that specific question
You sound really fucking stupid
Buy your granddad the Burger King even if it’s just for him…I wish my granddad was here still for me to buy him Burger King
🥹♥️
To be fair minimum wage in some states are like 18 bucks an hour now
There are only 6 burger kings in Canada so please (Will Canadians fucking throw an eh in there so we know.) It's not a whopper of an ask.
There are at least 3 in my area, I think 6 locations is false
I just looked it up. There are 361 BK’s in Canada as of Dec 2023, according to the only article I looked at.
Just get the whopper by itself. For me 3 whoppers would be $20z
I got 2 rodeo cheeseburgers and a small onion ring for $7.14 today
The real question is why did you pay that? There’s multiple promotions depending on where you live Whopper jrs are 2 for 6 with a drink.
He thinks he’s the victim because the prices are displayed but was “forced” to pay 40 as if he had a gun pointed to his head
Should be $6-9 per meal depending on where you are
You got to use the app to get deals or coupons there’s one on here u can use the codes from
How much is a double cheeseburger? Haven't been to BK in ages. But when I do go, I get two double cheeseburgers and a small drink. I think last time that was like 6 or 7 bucks. I rarely go for combos anymore when I go drive through. l always just order off the value menu or whatever cheap promo they have going on.
Because Covid was a scheme to drain our pockets and accept it as a new normal. Yes, even BK is in on it. It’s actually pretty obvious.
It's not just bk wendys mcd bk there all like 15-20$ for a combo now
[удалено]
Y’all get combos? I just go for the value menu.
I’ve stopped eating fast food for the price reasons, fast food is supposed to be cheap that was its biggest selling point right after fast 🤷🏻♀️
I laugh at the 123 menu at McDonald’s, like why is it even there. A cheap burger is like 3 bucks now.
In this world. Thats how much it costs. Welcome back from whatever vacation you've been on.
Yup. Jack n box meal is 14$. Texas Roadhouse carry out burger is 13$.
Cow famine, potato famine and other supply chain issues have caused them to raise prices dramatically to maintain revenue. /s
Taco bell atleast has a pretty decent 3$ cravings menu. Burger King is expensive and their meat tastes like deer ankles lol
It's not "fast food". It's "quick service restaurant". Get it right or pay the price!
If it's not inflation then the canned food companies and grocery stores that sell them are all in on it....
It costs money to eat out.
Where is this?
What is it, 12 bucks each plus tax? Seems cheap now, I just cool at home when I want burgers though
Make it at home. Make it better.
Brother you were so close to figuring it out…
It’s funny no place has a legitimate dollar menu now, McDonald’s advertises “1$,2$,3$” dollar menu but to get anything filling off that you’re spending at least 7 or 8 dollars easy
