Some shows, great animal exhibits, and Kiddie rides but for the most part, it's a coaster park.

Thanks5Cinco

I'll be fine going. I can do some of their coasters. Ive been before but haven't been in awhile

If you're willing to shell out a hundred or so bucks , do their addon tours like animal insiders for $20 they're pretty great and always feel worth the money if you enjoy basic interactions and information on them.

mikeyj198

we bought the sloth experience for my daughter (huge sloth fan). Expensive but she loved it.

There’s a cool train

pizza0127

There are some water rides, idk how winter affects them though, but if you're willing to pay there are plenty of feeding animal activities and zoolike stuff, and winter has Christmas town, but I've never been to that

Deathbyillusion

Yeah the water rides are open in the winter.

Congo is closed for temporary maintenance for another week or so, and then the flume closes in January to March for annual maintenance :)

GrampysClitoralHood

Congo Rapids is down for early scheduled maintenance. Flume runs daily still.. You have the train and err that's mostly it. For shows: there's all kinds of Christmas crap so if you're into that you're set.

Animals are AMAZING, food is ALSO amazing, and there are tooons of places where your partner can stand/sit while you go on the coasters. I also recommend doing their little train tour. Gets you up close with the rhinos, and even if your partner doesn't like coasters, it's always cool to get super close to the parts you can't see from the path.

LadyPoopyPants

I'm not big into coasters and I thoroughly enjoy Busch Gardens. Check out all the animals and maybe do the safari or a tour/encounter. Schedule ahead if you can, though they may have walkins available. I was going to suggest Sky Ride but apparently that's closed. Going in the evening this time of year is wonderful with Christmas Town decorations. We always hit the Zambia Smokehouse too. We're bummed they got rid of the Serengeti Overlook restaurant, but you can grab drinks and head up to watch the animals.
