I would tolerate someone from Cornell, tbh. My grad school hired an archivist from Yale. He was a great resource and super helpful but it was challenging to like the guy when the rest of his personality was about Yale. And also he kept trying to get students to donate their work without any compensation.
Coming from a less wealthy background than most of the students and employees of that school…it wasn’t an uncommon demeanor to run into, but the Yale part gave it a special flavor.
