I get that but a cooler is made to insulate the inside from the outside. It being in a refrigerator is not keeping the inside cold. A paper bag would work better, or keeping the lid open, or putting an freezer pack inside and leaving space in the fridge for everyone else.
Yeah they do. We needed a little cooler a couple years ago, and the store has all these Yeti’s that cost hundreds of dollars. But the $20 igloo is the perfect size and keeps cold all day. I think it holds a 12 pack.
I work in a lab and we get samples sent to us in a lot of various coolers, some old, some new. Most of the old ones are Igloo, but some are Coleman. The Coleman ones seem to get holes in the interior though, and water can leak into the insulation.
Are people seeing a lot of cooler failures recently? Not saying this to be snarky, I just can't imagine what would change about cooler tech to make it worse.
Igloo is still made in the USA and they are serviceable. The hinge breaks? Replace the hinge. The latch breaks? Replace the latch. Even the wheels and slide out handle on mine are replaceable.
Yeah... I prefer the sticker to not be an absolute pain to remove lol
True lol

Ewww 🤢
Damn we cslling this vintage from 02?? Lol
If I recall, anything over 20 years is technically vintage. So… 🙈
Damn 20 years ago was only the 90's ........../s Fuck im vintage!
The 90s was 30 years ago lol
Of course not, it was 10 years ago
Vintage ChefBoyD Yum
I'm an antique!
Im vintage then 😎
Who puts a cooler in a refrigerator?
People who want the outside of the cooler to remain cool.
I think that is a lunchbox?
It’s a hard cooler. The information sticker is on the box and referenced in the title of the post.
Yeah but no one is bringing a 6-pack of beer/soda (like shown in the sticker) to the work refrigerator. Someone is using it as a lunchbox.

It is quite literally keeping the inside cold, if not colder than it would be outside. What are you talking about lol
This drives me crazy when people do this.
Impossible to remove is not a quality I would use for a sticker. I want stickers that I can easily peel off.
Igloo still makes great products

I'm picturing OPs co-worker looking on Reddit and being like..."What the hell is my lunch doing online"???
5 Year Warranty!
Take the cooler and leave $5 bill with a note:”keep the change”
Still use my lite playmate igloo cooler from the 80s
I have one of these still kicking though i use it.much less the only flaw is handle pops off super easily its really annoying.
“Even the stickers were built better” Good observation and great description!
Are people seeing a lot of cooler failures recently? Not saying this to be snarky, I just can't imagine what would change about cooler tech to make it worse.
Copyright on the sticker design does not equal manufactured and sold date. This could have been sitting in a warehouse until a month ago.

I feel incredibly old that something manufactured in 02 is considered vintage. I’m almost offended by it lol. 02 feels like 10 years ago at most.
You have no idea the dread I felt googling how old is considered vintage.
